The next day Lexie went to pick up the kids. Max was the first stop. He got in the car.

"Hi Max." She said.

"Hi mommy."

"Did you have fun?"

"Yeah." "Where's Marybeth?"

"We're going to get her right now."

They drove for fifteen minutes and stopped at a house. Marybeth came outside and got in the car.

"Hi Marybeth." Lexie said.

"Hi mommy." "I got my hair done all pretty."

"I see that." "Did you have fun?"

"Yeah."

"Do you guys wanna go to the park?"

"Will we be home in time to watch uncle Randy?" Max asked.

"Yes but as I tell you every Monday, you're not staying up passed nine."

"I'm on spring break till Wednesday."

"I don't care, you and your sister's bedtimes are nine o'clock." "So the park, yes or no?" They both said yes.

"Is my mitt is the car mommy?" Max asked.

"Yeah."

"Is yours?"

"Yeah."

"Will you play catch at the park with me?"

"Yes I will."

They were at the park. Even though Max was only six he had a very strong arm. So much so that Lexie was afraid how bad it would hurt if she didn't catch it.

After the park they went home. Lexie was playing tea party with Marybeth while Max watched TV.

"Would you like one lump or two mommy?" Marybeth asked.

"Two."

"Ok." She gave her two imaginary lumps.

"Don't forget Pandy." Pandy was Marybeth's favorite stuffed panda bear.

"I won't." She gave Pandy two lumps.

Later that night Marybeth was helping Lexie with dinner. Max was in the living room playing with his trucks.

"Mommy." Marybeth said.

"What?"

"I want to see Alanna and Brooklyn."

"You will, this summer and Anthony." "You, Max, Brooklyn, Alanna, and Anthony will all be staying at grandma and grandpas for two weeks."

"What about Michael and Rob?"

"They'll be on vacation with friends."

A few hours later the kids got to watch Randy on Raw before they went to bed. They were always so excited when they saw him.

Lexie had just finished reading the kids a bedtime story in Max's room.

"Marybeth, go to your room I'll be there in one minute." Lexie said.

"Ok." She said getting up. "Night Max."

"Night Marybeth." Max said. She went off to her room.

"Ok, give mommy a kiss." Lexie said. He kissed her cheek. "I love you." "Goodnight."

"I love you too mommy." "Goodnight."

Lexie went to Marybeth's room. Marybeth was in bed waiting for her holding Pandy. Lexie kissed her on the cheek.

"Mommy can we have pancakes tomorrow?" Marybeth asked.

"Yes." Marybeth kissed her cheek. "I love you, goodnight."

"I love you too mommy." "Goodnight."

A half hour later Lexie was sitting up in her bed relaxing and watching TV. Her cell phone rang.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi." John said.

"Hi."

"What are you doing?"

"Just watching some TV." "What are you doing?"

"I just got back from the set."

"This late?"

"We had a few night shots." "How was your day?"

"Good." "I picked up the kids, we went to the park for awhile, I played catch with Max."

"Does he like baseball?"

"He loves it." "He throws hard for a six year old." "I'm not surprised though." "Ricky was an all-star pitcher in high school." "How did shooting go?"

"Good." "I don't know when it'll be, my schedule is packed pretty tight for the next few months but next time in town, would you like to go to dinner again?"

"Absolutely."

"Great."
