Merrin pulled a soping wet Cal and Cere out of the water. "Greez get us out of here," she yelled. She closed the hatch and picked up Cal, putting him on his bed. "Grethan bol," she cursed in dathomiri, "Can you at least try to not get yourself hurt Cal?"
"There is no ignorance, there is knowledge" He mumbled before falling asleep.
"Oh Cal, you're delirious". She pulls aside his poncho and looks at his wound. "I'm going to need to use my magiks to heal you." She grasps the rancor tooth and starts to glow green as she begins her healing chant. As she gets to the middle part of the chant, she feels memories start to slide her way. She sees Cal at the Jedi temple. She sees Master Tapal's training. But one memory sticks out, the Purge.
She sees the training exercise he did on his last day of training. She sees The clones firing at Cal and Tapal. She sees Jaro Tapal succumbing to his wounds and telling Cal to trust inly in the force. She than sees memories of Braca. Cal and Prauf scrapping ships and saving up money to get off the junker world. She sees Prauf stabbed through the chest by an inquisitor's blade. She is aburuptly pulled back to the real world when her chant ends. Tears flow down her cheeks as she realizes how similar she and Cal really are, previously she thought they were only alike in that they both were the last of their orders. "Okay Cal, I'll be right back" she says as she walks out of his room. "Where to?" Greez asks as Merrin enters the cockpit. "Somewhere discrete," Merrin replies, "we've had enough action for a lifetime"
"We could set of for Landeron, my homeworld,"Greez suggested.
"Sounds Good!" Merrin concluded
