Lexie and the kids had just gotten to John's house. They were staying for a week. It was Monday. John was coming home Friday and staying until Sunday.

"Mommy this place is big." Marybeth said as they were going up the stairs.

"I know." Lexie said.

"I hope we don't get lost." Max said.

Lexie laughed. "We won't." They were in the upstairs hall. "Ok guys, pick a guest room." "John has a pool, so when we're done unpacking we're gonna go swimming."

After they swam they went for a drive. They pulled into a school parking lot.

"Where are we mommy?" Max asked.

"If we move here this is where you'll both be going to school."

"Why is it so big mommy?" Marybeth asked.

"It teaches first through sixth grade."

"We'd be going to school with big kids?"

"You'd be in the same building but not the same classes."

Later that night Lexie, Max and Marybeth were all sitting on the couch. Lexie had her laptop set up. Her Skype ring went off and she pressed the button to connect. John popped up on the screen.

"Hi you guys." He said.

"Hi John." Marybeth said. "How was your movie shooting?"

"Good."

"Your house is nice John." Max said.

"Do you like it?"

"Yeah."

"Good."

"I like the pool." Marybeth said.

"Good."

"Yeah we all had fun swimming today." Lexie said.

"I'm glad you guys are having a good time." John said.

That Friday evening around five John came through the door. He put down his bag.

"I'm home." He said.

"Hi honey." Lexie said getting up off the couch.

"Hi." They kissed. The kids came downstairs. "Hey you two." "Come here." He knelt down and hugged them both.

"I missed you John." Marybeth said.

"I missed you to."

"John can we play catch please?" Max asked.

"Yes." "Just give me a minute."

A few hours later they were all sitting down to dinner.

"So what do we think?" Lexie asked looking at the kids. "Do we want to live here?"

"I do." Max said.

"Me to." Marybeth said.

"That makes me really happy." John said.

After the kids went to bed Lexie and John were having a glass of wine on the patio.

"John what would you think about next June 9th for our wedding?" Lexie asked.

"I say let's set it up." They kissed.

While they were watching TV the next night a commercial for Dancing With The Stars came on. Lexie noticed an annoyed look on John's face.

They were getting into bed later that night.

"John, why did you look so annoyed tonight when the Dancing With The Stars commercial came on?" Lexie asked.

"Not a lot of people know this." "Do you remember when Nikki was on the show?"

"Yeah."

"Soon after she started the show, she began having an affair with her partner." "I didn't know about it until way later." "He's the reason she left me."

"Oh my god."

"Yeah."

"Just so you know, I'd never do anything like that to you."

"I know you wouldn't." They kissed.
