Lexie and John's wedding was today. Max was the ring bear and Marybeth was the flower girl. It was a beautiful sunny day for a garden wedding. Lexie and John had a major announcement they were making at the reception. It was about time to start. Lexie and Kim were in a room getting ready. Lexie had on a summer wedding dress. Kim was maid of honor.

"You look so beautiful." Kim said.

"Thanks."

"Nervous?"

"Yeah but nervous excited."

"I'm so happy for you."

"I never thought I'd be this happy." Kim's two month old son started to cry.

"Aw it's ok James." She picked him up. "We're about to go out for aunt Lexie's wedding."

"Mommy how do I look?" Marybeth asked.

"You look beautiful."

John and Randy were getting ready in another room.

"Ready for this?" Randy asked.

"Yes, I've wanted this for a long time."

"You know, I had my doubts about you and Lexie at first."

"Rightfully so."

"Now I see that you're perfect for each other." "You're almost as great a couple as me and Kim." He said jokingly.

"Oh really?" John said laughing a little.

"I'll be proud to call you my brother-in-law."

"Thanks."

It was beautiful as Lexie walked down the aisle. She was surrounded by beautiful flowers. John thought she looked so beautiful.

When Lexie got to him they exchanged rings.

"Do you take this man to be your husband?" The minister asked.

"I do." Lexie said looking at John with joy and love.

"Do you take this woman to be your wife?" The minister asked.

"I do." John said happily.

"By the power invested in me, by the state of Massachusetts, I now pronounce you man and wife." "You may now kiss the bride." They kissed.

At the reception Lexie and John stood up at the head table.

"Can we have everyone's attention please?" John asked. Everyone looked at them. "My wife and I have an announcement to make." "We've kept this from all of you but six months ago, I decided to adopt the kids." "Yesterday we received the final decree, I'm happy to say that Max and Marybeth are officially my son and my daughter." He looked at the kids. "Daddy loves you both." Kim and Randy looked floored. After they sat down Kim went over to Lexie and hugged her.

"I can't believe it." Kim said shocked.

"It shocked me to when John brought it up." Lexie said.

"Yet another thing you didn't tell me." Randy said going over to John.

"Sorry, we didn't tell anyone." John said.

"That couldn't have a better father."

After the reception Lexie and John were in a honeymoon suite. They were in bed. They kissed.

"I love you." She said.

"I love you too." "I wanna have a baby."

"What?" She said shocked.

"I want to add to our family."

"You had a vasectomy though."

"Yeah but before I did, I froze some sperm in case I changed my mind." "I changed my mind." "Do you want a baby?"

"Yes I do."

"So we're gonna do it?"

"Yeah." They kissed.
