Lexie was due in two weeks. She was having a baby girl. John was home for the day and had to go back out to LA and finishing shooting a movie tomorrow. It was around one in the afternoon. The kids were in school. Lexie was in the kitchen. She felt her water break.
"John." She said.
"What?" He said coming into the kitchen.
"My water just broke."
"What?!" He said shocked. "It can't do that yet." "It's not time."
"Well she's saying is." "You need to call the sitter and Kim."
"I will."
Lexie had been stuck at seven centimeters dilated for the last three hours. Kim came into room.
"Good." "I didn't miss it." Kim said. "Randy says he's sorry he couldn't make it."
"That's ok." Lexie said. They hugged.
"How are you feeling?"
"Since the epidural, fine." Suddenly the baby's heart monitor started beeping. The doctor and nurses came in. The doctor checked her.
"The baby is fine but she's stuck." "We have to do an emergency C-Section right now."
They took her to the OR. The baby came out without incident. Immediately following which she had to be put in observation.
A few hours later Kim picked up the kids and brought them down to the hospital. When the kids got there Lexie was in her hospital bed holding the baby in her hospital bed.
"Guys, come here and meet your sister." Lexie said. They went over to her. "This is your sister, Morgan Kimberly Cena."
"Aw mommy she's cute." Max said.
"She has your eyes daddy." Marybeth said.
"I know." John said.
"I thought babies were born without hair." Marybeth said noticing Morgan's full head on brown hair.
"Sometimes babies can be born with hair." With their family now complete Lexie and John knew there were many more happy eyes to come.
