Chapter 37: Preparations for the Bash...
As I stood by the blinding light, I felt a powerful surge of energy flow through me... I looked as it dimmed to see myself carrying a beautiful silver blade. Staring at my reflection made me anxious enough. "Where you stand is a chance..." I looked at the reflection one more time to see a strange figure walking my way, wearing a crimson cloak as the voice sounded female. "A chance to prove yourself..."
I couldn't speak any words with a strange pressure building around me. The people in the masks backed away seeing the person uncover herself. Her face revealed a beautiful women with medium length brown hair as she wore a ruby circlet. Her armor was beautiful as the sun reflected off of it like a mirror. The pauldrons were shaped like lions that connected her crimson cloak, her torso showed she wore a black and red corset with a breast plate over it. Her legs were covered in armor with two different belts tied around her waist with throwing knives attached. A piece of red cloth was wrapped around her aswell as it showed a symbol of a lion.
"Son of Michael and Anna..." She pointed her blade at me with a stern look on her face. "The blade you wield is a manifistation of thy spirit." I looked at it one more time to find it is now Nephilem... Why? When I looked at her I saw that she took hold of a sword unlike any I have seen. It's metal polished like new with the sapphires glowing beautifully. It's guard and handle a fine silver with the angelic language engraved in it. "But thy spirit is fading... Why is this?"
I didn't have the nerve to answer her, only to see the blade on Nephilem was starting to chip as rust was spreading across! That's impossible! It shouldn't be like this! "What the hell...?!"
"That blade is a symbol of hope and life... Seeing it turn to scrap metal makes my stomach turn..." She holds her sword in front of her as she looked in its reflection. "It holds a shard of my own blade... That alone makes me even more furious...!" Shard? What did she mean by that? "JUAN VALENTINE! PREPARE THYSELF!" She had massive amount of power surrounding her like it was Divine Magic on a whole other level! "I am Elizabeth Athinia; First Queen of Gainos! NOW COME AND FACE THY JUDGEMENT!"
Gainos the Queen's Capital... Was in total destruction... Buildings and houses destroyed in mere minutes with a massive tidal wave of Chaos. The battle between the Beautiful Fighters and the Demons was a fight that shook both Heaven and Hell itself... There inside the middle of the ruined capital stood our warriors, trying to capture what had happen just moments ago.
Many questions were asked, some led to more questions than answers. It would take many months to repair everything...
"This isn't good..." Nanael looked around town for a search around, making sure there were no innocent bystanders that stood in the city. "The capital is in total distruction. Even with the Head Angels magic it would take weeks to fix everything."
"Nanael!" Her attention was grabbed by her best friend, Hachi. "Did you find anyone?"
"No. How about you?" She asked making the angel go silent. "Hachi?"
"Only one... He died before I could do anything."
"What's the total number?" Her best friend used her magic to put up a chart in front of her, showing the everything.
"Dead?" Hachi was hesitant on answering that question.
"28..." 28 people lost their lives... "I reported to your husband earlier, he's not taking it so well." That made her worry more, causing the Arch-Angel to fly to where many of the citizens are. They stood there in front of her husband... Who was bowing to them all.
The townspeople wanted to cry because of what happened to their homes. Some felt rage, some felt fear, some just felt empty. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." Was all Juan could say. "I couldn't save them...! I'm sorry!" Normally a king would overlook the death of common people, but not their King. Even the number of 1 death was still too many for him to handle...
"Your Highness?" One of the people came to him as the King expected a beating. "Thank you..." He rose up to see the townspeople looking at him in both sadness and fear. "You did everything you could to save us, thank you."
"But..."
"Juan." The Head Angel called to her. "It's time." She stood up on her legs to walk to the center of the sheet covered corpses... "They are in peace now..."
"I know that, but..." She clenched her fist as she remembered these very feelings long ago. Though she was ready to begin, her vision saw Eli and Eve near one of them... Eve was crying into his sleeve trying to keep herself together. This one was special to her... "No one should have to die like that." Eli turned around to see the Rebel.
"A good man deep down. He knew both honor and family to him was more important than glory." The Knight told him. "Ever since we were kids he would always look out for us, trying to be the older one."
"Your Highness..." Eve turned to the King with her head down as tears fell down her cheeks. "My brother... Is he in a better place?" She asked him with as anger was taking over. "Aeton was a fool many times, but I know he was doing it for the better of us. Honestly, this was the most foolish thing he could've done!" Eve wiped away the endless tears that poured down her cheeks. "But why?! Why did he have to die?!"
"I don't know..." Was all the King said to her before looking up at the sky. "Tell me, was he that much of a fool?" She nodded. "Then he must've had one hell of journey." Juan told her as the servant looked up at him as she placed her hand on top of Eve's head. "Listen to me, every great person starts a journey as a fool to only then become the person they wanted to be." She took back her hand before stuffing them into her pockets. "Tell me: Did he live a fulfilling life?"
Both of the Knight and Servant didn't answer... Neither of them did, for a good amount of time until Eve broke the silence. "Yes..." She answered. "The only thing he ever wanted from us was to grow. Grow to the point we can fight whatever the world throws at us."
"No matter what sort of Hell awaits us, we'll overcome it."
"Together." The two grasp the others hand before giving a glare at the King. The King and Knight stared into each other's eyes before she flicked both of their heads. "Ow!"
"Dumbasses. You guys should of said so from the beginning." She chuckled at the two as they smiled. "Now move it, we got some work to do." Both of them left to join the crowd with the King taking his place. He extended his arms feeling the wind blowing against him gently. Many angels gathered as well with Melpha and Sigui as bright green markings appeared under them.
The Head Angel raised her staff before tapping the ground as a ripple appeared, touching each of the corpse before many bright orbs appeared before them. She waved her staff in dilligent patterns as the orbs were dancing along to where they all gathered together. Tapping the staff on the ground caused the spirits to lift to the heavens, but some were broken apart as they flew across the sky like shooting stars. "Where are they going?"
"Why did some not go with them?"
"Are they doomed?!"
"Fear not, my Children." The Head Angel told them with her gentle smile. "The souls that have left have decided to stay, as they have not fulfilled their lives. They will be reincarnated shortly... That is my promise."
"Thank you, Holy Angel!"
"How can we repay you?"
"Speak no praise towards I, My Children." She spoke in her mother-like voice. "The only payment we require is you to not lose your hope. Never lose sight of it even at such times like this."
"Auntie," The Head Angel caugh`t voice of her Nephew or in this case Niece. "It's time for us to go."
"Please, becareful Juan... I don't know what might happen if something were to happen to you."
"I'll look after him or... Her?" Eli stepped in with everyone else aswell.
"I'll look after her aswell." Annelotte included herself knowing full well that Juan will throw herself into danger at any given moment. Soon enough, everyone joined in knowing that the start of a new journey was beginning. "Holy Angel, what shall you do?"
"I want to accompany you, but I cannot... For I have already meddled too far." She answered them with a feeling of guilt. "I will help restore the city, all of you most defeat the Swamp Witch."
"Leave it to us, Head Angel." Tomoe bowed in grace before her showing she meant what she said. "We will overcome this trial."
"Talk about a Grand Finale." Melona commented sitting on a boulder with her legs crossed. "Though, this does seem like fun." Everyone was on board for the final battle that about to soon bring the end of tyranny for the past 4 years.
"BOYS! BRING THE SHIP AROUND, WE'RE SETTING SALE TO THE SWAMP!" Liliana commanded her crew as they all agreed to it. Thanks to her new abilities, Liliana is now able to summon her band's spirits like they were when they were alive instead of their skeletons. To some it was like necro magic, but they were they are like her ship itself! They would rather go through the Kraken's belly than be detatched from their home!
"Hey kid!" Juan shouted at Eli who looked at her. "What are you gonna do? Fight with us, or stay behind?"
"It's obvious," Eli answered her. "I'm gonna fight until I completely avenge Aeton... That bitch is gonna-" Before he could say anything he felt his shoulder get slugged seeing the King with her arms crossed.
"Don't get so tense, got it?" She walked away with a smirk on her face seeing everyone huddled together. The Knight rubbed his shoulder before feeling a gentle touch seeing Eva by him. "I have to go-"
She silenced him with her finger as she took it back, smiling at him. "Be careful, I don't want to lose you too." She hugged the Knight tightly in her arms. Her body trembled due to her fear of the unknowing future.
The Knight held onto her with no sign of letting go until it was time to leave. This battle took over a friend he would call a brother... If he were to die on the battlefield he would throw himself in the pits of Hell instead through the gates of Heaven where Aeton, the friend he loved like a brother waited for him. He didn't deserve to see him in the White City where he was waiting for him.
"One more fight, just like old times." Shizuka smiled leaning on the a piece of debris. "What do you think, Lady Tomoe?"
"This battle will prove what we've been working for... I have no doubt that it will be a challenge."
"Good!" Risty added slamming her fist into her palm. "That fucking Witch owes me BIG time! I'm gonna enjoy smashing her lackies and her face to the ground!"
"My how scary~" Echidna giggled at this scene.
"There's only one problem," Yuit announced trying to make repairs to a damaged Vante. "If we go on the ship than we're sunk! It's the only thing that can get us to the Swamp in no time."
"If we go in the sky then we'll be blown to bits." Branwen hated this outcome.
"The ground is one way to travel, but she would have an army against us..." Annelotte predicted what would happen. "If only we had a shield to cover us..."
"Like an RV?" Naomi asked having everyone giving her looks as to what that was. "Right... No cars in this place."
"What's an RV?" Menace asked her sister wife.
"Well, to put it simply it's like a house on wheels."
"Oh! Like a wagon?" Mirim thought of it. "But an entire house?"
"Screw a house! We need a damn fortress if we want to fight her!" Risty had a good point. The Swamp Witch would be using her most powerful demons against them. There was nothing in the Continent or the World with that!
"I GOT IT!" Everyone looked at Luna Luna who had the biggest smile on her face. "The God that sleeps in the Temple will help us!"
"A God?" Izumi questioned. "What god are you talking about?"
"That's right!" Juan started to speak. "Luna Luna, I'm loving you more and more by the second! Everyone, pack up! We're heading to the Calibara Forest!" Everyone shouted at the same time feeling their King's confidence.
"I'm following HIS orders?!" Elina spat on the ground not enjoying the fact she now has to partner up with her Brother-in-Law. "This sucks! EEP!" She felt a sharp smack on her rear seeing Nyx smirk at her. "Why you...!"
"You're also taking my orders too... Since, he's MY husband."
"I'd rather die!" She yelled at the Phoenix Queen who only laughed at her as the two bashed their heads with one another. "I'm going to kill you!"
"Oh? Go ahead and try... Cause I went easy on you!"
"You bitch...!"
The two stared down at eachother flames grew between them. The Tiger and Phoenix clashing together as the ground shook! "Uh... Should we break them up?" Yuit asked the Wandering Warrior who only shrugged her shoulders before boarding the ship.
"Let them at it." Echidna told the little elf who sighed and went on board along with everyone else. The two entered the ship still not keeping their eyes off each other knowing full well if one of them looks away the other will try to kill.
One person though hasn't entered it yet... Aldra stood with her husband as the two help each other's hand. They looked into her eyes before he kissed her on the lips as she held him tightly. Never wanting to let go the of the man she loved, but had to... When they stopped he only told her one thing. "Come home safe. I know you will."
That was more than enough confidence for her as she teared up. "I'll cook us a dinner with everything I got, Dear!" She kissed again before running to the ship with Annelotte waiting for her. "Shall we go?" The Princess Knight nodded as the door closed while waving good bye. The ship took off as the citizen and soldiers waved them off with all their blessings.
"Nowa, are you ready?" Alleyne asked her former student who nodded.
"Whenever you're ready, Captain!" The half-elf was still the same as ever, full spirited and always going in at full speed!
"Seto, are you ready?" Her child nodded with her head ruffling through his locks of hair. "Let's go!" The Guardian of the Forest took off at full speed leaving only a trail of dirt and grass!
"Good luck... All of you... Fate is in your hands now!" The Head Angel and Nanael saw the boat fly off on the path to the forest, praying that they succeed in the coming battle. Standing on top of the it all was the King with her arms crossed looking at the blue sky before smirking. Everyone knew that the final battle for the Continent was approaching to the point that they couldn't wait!
"Brenwan! You do what you gotta do!" She ordered as the Dragon Warrior took off with Usher to the land of Dragons! "See you there."
"I'm getting goosebumbs!" Ymir rubbed her arms feeling excited.
"Same here!" Her cousin shouted at the top of lungs. "I can't wait!"
Niether could everyone else. The Swamp Witch was the most powerful being known throughout the Earth, Heavens and Hell. Her power was on the level of Delmore the Fallen Angel and the most greatest enemy that the King had ever faced.
"It's gonna be sometime before we get there, until then enjoy yourselves." Liliana told everyone before going into her domain. It was for the best as they all started to talk to one another, some catching up on what happened. For them, this moment of peace was the most relaxing part after what happened.
"Risty!" The Benevolent Bandit got the attention of her best friend/sister wife who hugged her! "I'm glad to see you're okay!"
"Back at ya." Risty couldn't help but give in the hug as they seperated before the two kissed each other. "Mmm~ I miss that feeling." Risty went on the aggresive side as she started to violate Leina's mouth with her tongue as Leina fought back also with physical means. Her hands squeezing the soft breast that belonged to the muscled woman who countered by squeezing Leina's soft ass.
"HEY! HEY! HEY!" Elina came stomping at the scene breaking the two apart while pointing a spear at her. "You big ape! I'm going to stab you're damn throat!"
"Oh? Just try it then ya damn brat! Don't think I forgotten all the bullshit YOU put me through!" She grabbed Elina's spear before pulling her as she got a good look at her. "I haven't eaten in so long and I haven't had a good fuck from my husband for 4 years... You REALLY wanna test me, bitch...?!"
"Enough!" Eli broke the two apart as they gained a good distance between each other. "Captain, are you alright? You can't get heated over something trivial as-"
"TRIVIAL?!" Elina grabbed him by the collar bring him to her eye level! "I'm protecting my lovely big sister from that beast and YOU call it 'TRIVIAL'?! You really are an idiot!"
"Well excuse me for helping you try to calm down!" Eli took back his collar from the blonde haired femme fatale.
"HELP?! You call that help!? YOU IDIOT!" She turned around from him not wanting to look at her Knight. "If you want to HELP than you should HELP by throwing her overboard!" She turned to him again but with that famous smirk she had. "Or you can help me by getting me a drink or massaging my shoulders! Oh, are you incopident of that too?"
"Why... you...!" The Knight had his anger raging inside with a grin on his face. "I'll help you alright... HOW ABOUT I HELP YOU INTO A COMA!?" He shouted in her face while rolling his right sleeve! "OR BETTER YET, I CAN THROW YOU OVERBOARD!"
"OH YOU WANNA FIGHT!?" The two butted heads against each other trying to be the dominiant one!
"WHAT DO YOU THINK, IDIOT?!"
"THE ONLY IDIOT HERE IS YOU!"
"THE BIGGEST IDIOT IS THE ONE WHO'S GET MAD EASILY!"
"Aww~ Look at the married couple!" Melona teased as the two stopped their arguments with a heavy blush on their faces.
"You guys are way too cute!" Menace joined the teasing before giggling has both of their faces became a deeper red before looking away from each other.
"Shut up...!"
Echidna was giggling at the cute little moment they had. "Those two won't change in the future." For the time she spent spying in the castle she loved seeing those two argue.
"It's kinda nice when things don't." Irma commented. "Has a feeling like you're home."
"Ain't that the truth?" Echidna snaked her way around her former student before groping her body. "Oh my, did they get bigger~?"
"H-HEY!" Irma was being assaulted by the Wild Elf once again while feeling her nibbling her ear. "Stop it! At least wait til night you damn horny snake!"
"Dear, I haven't shared a bed with my man in 4 years. Risty relieved herself of anger and stress but I'm still in need."
"Then talk to him!"
"I could, or..." She slipped her hand down her pants and panties feeling the one thing she wanted. "I could take advantage of you..."
"STOP IT!"
Nothing really changed between them all and it felt like home to them. After the hell they all endured during these past 4 years, the Beautiful Fighters were together once again as they joined forces with the Rebellion. Their power was unstoppable when banded together, however Tomoe couldn't shake a feeling in her chest. "Lady Tomoe?"
"Shizuka, do you feel that?" The Priestess sensed the upcoming threat near the Swamp. "She has people guarding her."
"It was never going to be an easy battle to begin with." The Kunoichi crossed her arms under her breast. "But it makes it more interesting."
"We've been through many opponents for so long." Melpha walked up to her sister wives her hands held together like the elegant woman she was. "But the Lord tells me that we're up against an army."
"But he's telling me that we'll be achieve our victory." Sigui gave them a hopeful smile that they truly appreciated in these dark times. "I've seen what you fighters are capable of and there's no doubt in my mind that we'll win this."
"Yes. I agree completely."
They enjoyed this moment together. Everyone was enjoying their company for better or worse and it was the best time of their lives. "Feels like a family reunion." Juan said sitting on top of ship looking down at everyone. Seeing them all in one place felt like home to him and he can bet that everyone else felt the same way.
"Hey, Juan!" He looked down to see Naomi waiting for him to get down. "You got a second?" The King came down to greet her wife with a gracious land with a thud. "Show off..."
"What's up?"
"Well, I just wanted to know what we need to do before we get our shit kicked in."
"There's a god there." She spun around to see the Moon Dancer Luna Luna with a seductive look in her eye. "If anything it will be our key to victory." Her hands started to feel up her body as her tentacles wrapped around her.
"I see..." In a quick moment she was around the dark skinned girl as she used her own tentacle and started to wrap it around her. "Now then, hopefully were ready to take her on."
"I'M NOT!" They turned to see Yuit fixing Vante from the last fight. "I need as much time as I need, other wise this is gonna be all for nothing!" She using everything in her disposal but was panicing at the same time. "I gotta modify the bone structure, then install a new armor for her body! Not only that but-" She was going on and on with what she needed.
"Need a hand?" Yuit saw the two Dwarf cousins smirking at her. "I can give you plenty of ideas, I just need some inspiration."
"Catch!" She looked to see Juan tossing her holster to the Steel Princess as she accepted. "It's gonna take us a while, so use all the inspiration you need."
"Thank you Juan! Eilin!"
"Let's get to work!" The both went inside the ship to start on a model with Yuit tagging along. Knowing them and God knows too that they'll make something cool, flashy and deadly. Whatever they have planned for the Automaton is gonna make one hell of an impact.
"Hey Juan..." She looked to see Annelotte in her clothes without the armor. "I wanted to ask, but what do we call you now?" That was out of nowhere. "Well, we can't call you Juan in the state your in."
"Call me whatever you want." She said stuffing her hands in her pockets. "As long as you know it's me, give me any name you want."
"June?" Mirim offered. "I mean they both sound the same and both have 4 letters so it's easier for us to remember."
"June? Boring!" Luna Luna stated before making another suggestion. "How about, Daisy?"
"Ooh! Ooh! How about, Changying?!" The sister in red offered.
"Uh, let's just go with June." Naomi didn't want to deal with all that. "Anyway, June... We need to make sure we're prepared."
"Naomi's right." Claudette stepped up with her arms folded. "It will probably be an ambush when we reach the forest. Or one waiting or us when we get what we need."
"The possibility is high." Leina couldn't shake the feeling.
"We're ready." They looked at Annelotte having a grip on her blade. "We've overcome many battles before, and we'll overcome this as well!"
"She's right." The Former Queen stepped up with a smile. "All of you are an army in one body. Nothing can best us in this fight."
They looked at each other nodding knowing their strengths and weaknesses. If on were in a situation the other will the bail them out without a problem. The battle will be difficult, but at the end of any tunnel will be a ray of light. That light will be their victory.
The Swamp though was reaching it's end. The clouds in the sky started to melt to the ground, the red pools started to boil, lighting striking multiple places at once... A true Hell on Earth. "M-MISTRESS! PLEASE STOP! AAGGHHHH!"
"I CAN'T TAKE IT!"
"IT HURTS! IT HURTS!"
"AAAAGGGGHHHHH!"
Screams of anguish instead of pleasure escaped the castle. The Swamp Witch was taking her anger on her minions trying to feel pleasure. "Useless... All of you..."
"No more... My body can't take it..." Blood was on the floor with some just hanging on the walls with swords stabbed through their bodies. A horrifying scene for even the most foulest of creatures...
"Please, Mistress... It hurts..."
"ALL OF YOU ARE USELESS!" The only thing they heard was the sounds of pain and liquid splashing across the room. Hot red blood seaped through the door until the doors blew open as the Swamp Witch hair was a mess, her robes barely even hanging on to her body. "I can't even get pleasure in this damn body!" Her feet were stained in the blood leaving foot prints as some of her servants looked into the room. Nothing but blood, and organs... Unknown horror that even they thought was gut wrenching.
"Mistress." The maids bowed to her until she knocked away with her tail so hard they made cracks in the wall.
"My body?!"
"Almost ready... Uh, Mistress..." Mime said looking into the pit. Inside this pit was a shell being made by the power of the underworld. The blood colored water spun like a whirlpool, creating the body that the Swamp Witch wanted to own. "We just need to make sure that it's suitable for you."
"Hurry, before I mangle you aswell!" She turned away from the pit leaving a terrified Mime. She continued down her halls seeing all of her servants cowering for their lives. "MEENA! WHERE ARE YOU?!" The wraith appeared from a portal as she bowed in respect. "Where are my Knights?!"
"Coming along faster than expected, Mistress." She reported. "5 Knights... Both from the Underworld and the deepest pits of Hell... They just need your curse to be bound for eternity."
The Swamp Witch took off her robe, showing her body for all to see. A black symbol with a dangerous purple smoke appeared around her. The 'eyes' on the strange creature that covered her crotch lit up with the tail swinging back and forth. The Swamp Witch held a red orb in her palms before it started to seperate. "You are 5, but together you are 1. You serve me and me alone... Never forget this power. The power to destroy all the Heavens itself!" The red orbs shot straight into their host before they all awoken from their slumber. "Your Master?"
"You; The Swamp Witch."
"And your enemies?"
"The King, The Beautiful Fighters and The Rebellion."
The only thing you could hear was the sound of laughing. The sound of a mad woman not willing to give up... A dangerous will to live indeed.

I was busy being an adult. I'm sorry... Also guys, I want us to take a moment of silence for the Las Vegas shooting that happened. A horrifying sight that should never EVER have happened. 50 lives were lost and many were injured. Stay safe guys, because I love you all. That update will stay up just in case no one knows... So, I take back what I said in the whole taking the update down. I just want to make sure and that we're all on good footing.
Alright, I'm gonna go do a bunch of other stuff like play the new Senran Kagura, some Overwatch cause the Halloween event so I'm gonna be spending 80 bucks worth of lootboxes and not to mention we got a bunch of cool games coming out or already out. Dragon's Dogma and Dragon's Crown coming to new consoles, not to mention HD version of Okami! I plan on getting Yakuza 6 special edition too, cause GOD I want that artbook and shot glasses! CAN'T WAIT! Play Yakuza 0, then Yakuza Kiwami cause the Yakuza series is SOOOO fucking amazing!
