Chapter 65: Easter
Tim's POV
It was Alfred, me, Damian, Dick, Jason, and Bruce on the pew. Alfred sat quietly and listened intently to the sermon. Bruce and Jason had fallen asleep against each other on their first out of two trips to church for the year. They only go on Easter and Christmas. Dick reached over and shook them until they woke up and then scolded them for being disrespectful. Damian actually looked somewhat interested at the idea of someone being crucified.
I listened as the pastor began his usual Easter sermon about how Jesus was crucified on the cross and how he rose from the grave. It's amazing how the son of God sacrificed himself for our sins. Jesus died on the cross so we could live. Jesus had risen from the grave; God's greatest miracle. God's sacrifice of his only son to save us from our sins.
After we closed in prayer, we went outside for the Easter egg hunt.

Jason's POV
I pulled hatefully at the noose around my neck as we walked outside.
"Jason, stop pulling at your tie." Bruce ordered as I rolled my eyes.
Dick walked over to talk to Barbara and the commissioner. Bruce was about to start flirting, as always. Alfred was with Leslie. Tim's face was as red as his costume as he listened intently to that little blond he likes talk. Damian was being forced to participate in the egg hunt with the other kids. He looked ready to murder someone as Colin skipped alongside of him.
"Jason."
I turned to find Colin's sister headed straight for me. Instantly, I began searching for an escape route.
"You never called me back." she snarled as I paled.
Damian's POV
This is stupid. I do not want to search for eggs.
"Hey Dami. Hi Colin. Are you two ready to find the eggs?" Grayson asked as he and his girlfriend came over to us.
"Tt. Grayson, I am nine years old. I am not participating." I replied as he and Barbara traded smiles. "I refuse to participate."
"But, you're my partner!" Colin whined as I rolled my eyes.
"Relax Colin. Damian's only scared that he can't find as many as the other kids." Barbara chided as I narrowed my eyes at her.
"I am more superior than anyone." I stiffly stated as Grayson bended down to hug me.
"It's okay, Dami. Sometimes you have to admit that others are better than you." Grayson whispered as I pushed him off me.
"They are not better than me!" I screamed as he and Barbara smirked down at me.
"Then prove it." she smirked.
"Come along, Colin. We have eggs to find." I declared as I dragged him away.
Dick's POV
"You look beautiful, Babs." I said as I took in the sight of how gorgeous she looked in her navy-blue dress.
"Flattery will get you nowhere, Mr. Grayson." She smirked as I moved closer.
"Oh really?" I asked.
"Really. My dad is right behind you and I have a feeling he's armed."
Tim's POV
I smiled as Stephanie started talking to me. She is so pretty. Her hair is like sunshine. She looks really pretty in her purple dress.
"Tim?"
"Hmm?"
"Are you listening?" She asked as I nodded.
"Okay good. I thought you spaced out for a minute. So do you want to?"
"Sure." I whispered as her smile got bigger.
"Great! I'm so glad you're going to be Jesus in tonight's Easter play!"
What!

Damian's POV
Soon, we were all piled into the car.
"Floor it Alfred! I'm ready for my chocolate bunny!" Todd declared.
"Chocolate bunny?" I questioned as Grayson turned in his seat to look at me.
"Yeah Dami. You know, the Easter Bunny brings you an Easter basket with all kinds of toys and candy." Grayson added.
I must have this bunny!

Tim's POV
"Alfred, do you think I'll be ready in time for the show tonight?" I asked as he helped me rehearse my lines.
"Of course Master Timothy. You'll do fine." he replied as Dick and Jason suddenly screamed.
Alfred and ran out of the kitchen to see Jason and Dick hanging upside down.
"Damian!" they screamed.
"How dare you disregard my Easter Bunny trap!" Damian hissed.
"Your what?" Dick asked as Jason rolled his eyes.
"Damian, cut your brothers down." Bruce ordered as Damian sighed.
"Yes Father." He replied before drawing a throwing knife.

Bruce's POV
Look at my little boy on stage. Look at Tim in his costume, delivering his lines. I watched as my baby, Damian came on stage to "crucify" Tim.
"Ah, Bruce. You did tell Damian it's not real and he's not really supposed to hurt Tim, right?" Jason whispered as I paled.
This is not good.

Bruce's POV
After we walked into the house, Damian immediately ran to check his bunny trap.
"He's real! He's real! Father! Pennyworth! Grayson! Todd! Drake! He's real!" Damian screamed.
We came to find Damian with a solid white bunny in his arms. Who bought that bunny? I did not approve of a rabbit. Damian already has several horses, ponies, a dog, a turkey, a baby bat, and a kitten army.
Jason would eat it. Tim's allergic. I didn't do it. Damian didn't do it. Dick said it wasn't his idea. And Alfred is completely against the idea of animals in the houseā¦
Is the Easter Bunny real? No, it couldn't be.
I don't know, but those pellets had better be chocolate!
