(Alan)
After what Owen said, I knew he was right. I ran straight to my brother's side with Scott joining me! Mum held the others back. Me and Scott checking for a pulse! A flashback from a mission returns to me! *
I was once again left alone, monitoring my brothers' communications. "Virgil, we're losing the slide!" I hear Gordon's panicked voice yell. "On my way!" Virgil responds. He dives through the slide, "Woah!" He yells, grabbing the breaking slide, 1 half attached to the plane the other attached to Thunderbird 2. His grunt of pain emphasises the strain on his body.
I panic, as a few minutes later; Scott's voice comes through the communications as horrified. "Gordon! He's let go of both halves of the slide!" What? No! I thought, watching as Scott flew to catch my gentle, kind-hearted brother.
Virgil disappears underneath violent waves; John's voice comes over the communication link.
"Gordon! Virgil's drowning! Hurry!" He yells, panic filling the atmosphere of the Island.
"Grandma, Parker, Penelope, Kayo! Get in here!" I yell, gaining an immediate response of the non-rescuers on the island. "What is it, Alan?" they ask. We all watch as Gordon dives into the water, grabs hold of Virgil, removes the power-suit and carries Virgil to the surface.
"Take him, Scott!" he yells, giving Virgil to our oldest brother. Gordon's tears show clearly on the hologram communications. Scott's talk to John tells us all why. "John! Virgil isn't breathing. Pilot Thunderbird 1!" Scott commands
Now, Virgil is in danger again! "Owen! Get over here!" I yell, holding back tears. "Alan! What's wrong?" Mum, Dad and my brother's ask. "Virgil's pulse has gone! He isn't breathing!" Scott cries, instantly holding me close to him as tears flow freely down everyone's cheeks.
"He can't leave! We need him!" Gordon yells, the same panic as the mission is there in his voice. After that, everything's quiet, as if all the animals heard Gordon's cry. Only Owen made any sound, "Virgil! Don't leave us! Please, not now!" Owen begs. I turn my head, letting my tears fall onto Scott's shirt. Scott doesn't seem to mind! "Virgil! Please!" everyone begs. "Ok! Ow!" Virgil responds, "You know, I think I would prefer to be chased by the Hood rather than being chased by the Indominous Rex!"
"Virgil! You're ok!" Scott yells. "You mean, apart from being grabbed and dropped by the Indominous Rex. Yeah! Besides, if this mother bear is still needed, she ain't leaving yet!" he responds with a laugh. Virgil's laughter is always contagious and soon we all laugh at the mention of Virgil's old nickname!
Sorry, Lexibirds! The mission Alan is talking about is your version of bolt from the blue. It's just too good to ignore!
A/N: Virgil worked at Jurassic World. There are a few surprise hero dinosaurs in the next chapter, which is the second to last chapter! The last chapter is going to be shorter than the others since its John's pov of saying Goodbye, and John isn't much of a talker! Anyway, I had to keep Virgil! He's my favourite Tracy, so is Scott btw! I noticed how most stories claim Lucile Tracy to be dead, so I wrote a story that's in an alternate universe where the brothers manage to save their mum!
In your reviews, tell me what you think the surprise dinosaur heroes are going to be.
Hint: 3 of the groups are carnivores and 1 is a herbivore (to make it more surprising, all the dinosaur heroes work together rather than attempting to eat each other) Lol
