Moving in
A cloud of purple smoke brought them to their new home, to their cabin in the woods, here in North-Carolina. They look at each other, the both of them not sure how to feel. 'Papa, papa look!' Roland runs to the cabin and gives his father a big toothless smile. 'I see my boy.' He smiles tiredly and squeezes Regina's hand briefly before he walks to Roland. Luna twists and frowns a bit in Regina's arms. 'I know honey, that's not a nice way to wake up hmm?' She presses her lips to Luna's head and follows Robin and Roland inside of their new home.
'I have my own room Gina!' Roland shouts from his new room and Regina chuckles as she continues to put Luna to bed. 'How about a bath?' Robin whisperes to her ear before he kisses her temple. 'Maybe tomorrow? I'm exhausted.' Robin nods and smiles at her before he goes over to Roland.
Regina tucks Luna in and kisses her head before she starts singing: 'You are my sunshine, my little sunshine.' She almost whispers. 'You make me happy when skies are grey.' Luna looks at her with wide eyes making Regina smile. 'You'll never know dear how much I love you.' She leans in and kisses the tip of Luna's nose before whispering the last words: 'Please don't take my sunshine away.' Regina then turns off the light and goes to Roland's room, leaning in the doorway she watches as Roland looks closely at Robin as he tels him his favorite story.
It takes a few minutes before Roland falls asleep, obviously more tired than he would admit. Regina and Robin both move to their bedroom, undressing themselves in silence before they brush their teeth while standing next to each other. Robin then gets into bed as Regina searches around their new bathroom for make-up remover.
Not long after that she climbs into bed and rolls on her side to face him. He cups her cheek, rubbing his thumb over her collarbone as she closes her eyes. Robin moves closer and leans his forehead against hers before kissing the tip of her nose, making a small smile appear on Regina's face.
Regina's phone interrupts their peaceful moment and makes Robin sit up to grab the device and hand it to her. Regina sits up as well and grabs her glasses from her nightstand before putting them on. 'It's Emma.' She tells him before opening the text. 'She checked in on everyone, they're all ok.' She sighs relieved and puts her glasses and phone back on her nightstand before laying her head on Robin's chest and nudging her face in his neck. 'How do you feel?' Robin asks as he wraps his arms around her kisses her head. 'I don't know.' She whispers and moves her head to look at him. 'Me neither.'
He leans in and presses his lips against hers, hoping she would feel the love he's feeling for her. She smiles against his lips and opens her eyes to look at him. 'We'll have to start looking for jobs.' He nods, loving how she's always thinking of the important things. 'We will, tomorrow.' He reaches out to turn off the light and pulls her close to him. 'Sleep well my love.' He whispers and kisses her brow before closing his eyes. 'I love you.' She whispers back into the dark.
One thing Regina Mills had learned since Robin and his son were staying the nights, is that they are early risers. And not just that, they somehow wake up right after each other, maybe even at the same time. As soon as the first sun rays break through the curtains they wake up. And not just that, they leave the bed, actually Regina is pretty sure Robin and Roland are out in the forest right now, checking their new environment.
And so Regina wakes up alone, simply smiling at the empty spot beside her, taking a minute to let all the impressions of the day before set in. All those years in Storybrooke, from her hating every single person in that town to calling the people there her family. She adopted Henry in that town, found her second chance in life, found her soulmate, her Robin and with him Roland and now Luna. And maybe the most important thing, she found herself, her happiness, her happy ending. She found all those things in Storybrooke and now it was all gone, destroyed, like it had never existed.
Soft cooing sounds came through the baby monitor and catches Regina's attention. Within a minute she is with Luna and picks her up before holding her close. 'Good morning baby girl.' She whispers and kisses the baby's head. Although Zelena is Luna's biological mother, Luna's appearance is all Robin's. His blue eyes, his blonde hair, his nose, his dimples. She is all him and that not only makes her adorable it also makes her a really beautiful baby girl. 'Are you hungry?' Regina asks, already knowing the answer, as she walks to the kitchen and puts Luna in her chair and starts preparing her bottle. 'Did daddy came to see you before he sneaked out?' Her response comes in the sweet high pitched sounds Luna often makes.
'Hmm such a lucky girl you are.' Regina smiles as she warms the bottle up and takes that time to check out her new home. It is actually really beautiful. Whenever she looks out of a window her eyes meet the forest, green trees and plants covering the surroundings of the cabin, still their house is light because of the little tree-free space they have before the cabin. The design of the house is mostly made of wood, yet the furniture is stylish, the perfect match for Robin and her. She could picture it, their life together, here with Roland and Luna.
Regina hands Luna her bottle and kisses her head before she looks out of the window again. She can't wait for Henry to come and visit, she already misses him, worries about him. Hoping he will be ok, he will make good friends, that support him. She sighs and looks over her shoulder and smiles at Luna who is eagerly drinking from her bottle.
The door then opens, footsteps entering the house before the door was shut with a rather hard sound. 'Roland I told you to be quiet.' Robin whispers patiently. 'Oops, I woke Luna?' Roland asks, making Regina chuckle. Roland quickly makes his way to the kitchen and smiles brightly. 'Already up papa!' He chuckles and goes up to Luna's chair, placing a kiss on her sock since that is the only part of her he can reach. Roland then goes over to Regina and smiles happily as she bends down to kiss his head and slide her hand through his curls.
'We saw Bambi.' Regina chuckles, ever since Henry had watched Bambi with him he named all the deers Bambi. 'Do you like the forest here?' Regina asks him as Robin comes up to her and kisses her cheek before whispering a "Good morning" in her ear. 'It's really pretty, papa says it is too.' Roland answers as he climbs on his chair and waits for Robin to puts his bowl with cornflakes before him.
Robin does just that and catches Regina staring at him, answering her stare with a grin. 'You like it here?' She asks and studies his face. 'I do.' He answers as he gets closer to her. 'Although I'm pretty sure I would like it anywhere with you.' Regina rolls her eyes but never the less likes what he says.
'Do you mind if I take a shower?' She asks. 'Without me?' Robin answers, making Regina scowl him as she looks at Roland, who is, thankfully, way too occupied with eating his breakfast. Robin just chuckles and pecks her lips. Making Regina take this opportunity to pull him close. 'I'll take another one tonight with you, if you're up for it?' She bites his lower lip briefly and pulls away before walking to the bathroom.
He watches her go and smiles, before he sees Luna drop her bottle from the corner of his eye and is just in time to catch it before it falls. 'Wow.' Roland comments as he keeps eating and Robin chuckles before handing his daughter her bottle with a kiss on her head. 'Can we see granny today?' Robin sighs sadly and sits next to his son. 'Granny and Ruby also moved, they're really far from us now.' Robin explains as he wipes some milk of Roland's cheek. 'Oh.' He says sadly. 'With the cream?' He asks a little upset, making Robin smile. 'They took the ice cream, but they have really good ice cream here too.' Roland's eyes light up. 'They do?!' He asks excited and sits up straight. 'Can we go?' He immediately asks. 'Maybe after lunch, with Regina and Luna?' Robin suggests, making Roland nod while smiling. 'I love this house papa.' He says sweetly and continues eating his cornflakes. 'I think I do too.'
