DarkBlackStar13's request for Timmy to get kidnapped and Jason to save him. (Hope you like it!)
Chapter 95: Control
Tim's POV
"Shit!" Red Hood exclaimed as he examined what was left of the bomb in what was left of the warehouse.
"What is it?" I asked as he crossed his arms.
"Black Mask. The asshole's on my turf! I and I alone control the drug trade around here! He's taking out the ones loyal to me!"
"Is it really that important?" I asked.
"Little Red, the drug trade is everything in Gotham. The human trafficking, the gang wars, the crime, none of it matters in comparison to the drug trade… I control it. These people worked for me. And since I have taken control of it, fewer people have overdosed. The cops are bringing more and more dealers down. I've crumbled Black Mask's empire. I control everything… And I've made more than Batman gives all of us in allowances."
"But, it's dangerous… None of us want you to get hurt."
"Grow up, Red Robin! I know what I'm doing!" he yelled as my face fell.
He sighed as he removed his helmet and placed his gloved hand under my chin.
"Hey, I'll be careful… Nothing's gonna happen to me or you, okay?"
"Okay." I replied, hugging him as he hugged me back.
"Come on, we're getting outa here."
I followed behind him as we made our way up to what was left of the roof. He stopped abruptly and held out his hand in warning as he screamed, "Stop!"
Before I could answer a second bomb blew.

Ears ringing, head feels like it's about to explode, possible concussion, feel like throwing up, sick to my stomach, and I'm alone. This is not good. I lay still in the rubble.
"B-big Red?" I called out.
I whimpered in pain as I slowly sat up. Ow. That hurt.
"Big Red! Help me!" I cried.
"Boss! It's Red Robin!" someone screamed as a hand wrapped around my cape and yanked me to my feet and lifting me into the air.
"Put me down! Red Hood! Help!" I screamed before a gloved hand was wrapped tightly around my throat, cutting off my oxygen intake as I clawed at the hand.
"Well, well. The little bird all alone… You aren't the one I'm after, but you'll do nicely… Cage the bird and shut him up… I want the Red Hood alive."

Jason's POV
I groaned as I sat up. I could see burnt skin from where the flames ate through my costume. Great. I'm getting Hell from Alfred tonight. Guess, it's a good thing I've got like thirty of these in the cave.
Shit. How could I have not seen that tripwire? Freaking asshole. He knew I was gonna be here.
"Little Red?" I called out.
I received no reply.
"Red Robin!" I yelled.
A horrible feeling sank in when I realized that I was alone… Where's Babybird? Climbing to my feet, I shifted through the rubble around as I screamed for him. I was in full blown panic mode at this point.
Looking around, I made out a shadowy figure lurking in an alley across from the building. He had to have seen something.

Tim's POV
I pulled at the cuffs on my wrists as I dangled from a meat hook. I froze as he entered. He immediately snatched the tape from my mouth as he ran a butcher knife along his palm.
"You're going to tell me everything you know about the Red Hood." The monster hissed as I shook my head.
"I don't know anything."
"For every lie you tell, you get one cut." He hissed before slicing my thigh open as I tried not to cry out.
"Where does he operate?"
"The United States!" I yelled as he sliced the skin near my elbow.
"No smartass remarks!" he yelled.
"Then don't insult my intelligence level by asking me stupid questions! I'm not going to tell you anything!" I yelled.
"I don't need you to." He hissed before slicing my com link off of my wrist.

Jason's POV
"Alright. I'll give you one chance to live. Tell me what you know." I hissed as I lifted the man into the air and slammed him into the wall as his face was revealed. Damn. It would be the least informative of my informants.
"I dunno nothin!" he squealed.
"Benny."
"Boss?"
"Red Robin. Where is he?" I demanded.
"I… I-" he rambled as I snarled.
"Rules now!"
"Rule number one: Don't sell to kids. Rule number two: Don't touch Nightwing, Red Robin, or Robin. And rule number three: Don't piss you off."
"Very good, Benny. You remembered all of them. Do you remember what happens to people who break my rules?"
"You kill em." he whispered as I nodded.
"And as of right now, you've broken rule number three." I hissed.
"Please… I gotta wife an kids-"
"You have no wife. You have no children. You're a drug dealer and one of my informants… Am I going to have to find a new informant?"
"No! Please! I dunno know nothin!"
"Too bad." I replied, pulling my knife.
"Wait!"
"I don't like waiting, Benny. I've never really been a patient person."
"Please!"
"It'd be a shame to get your blood all over this nice clean alleyway. And I promised my father I wouldn't kill anyone anymore. You wouldn't want me to break my promise, would you?"
"No!"
"Tell you what, Benny. I'll count to three." I stated, resting my knife against his jugular.
"Please! I don't know anythin!"
"One… Two… Thr-"
"Okay! Okay! I'll tell you what I know!"
"See that wasn't so hard, was it? Now talk!"
"I saw the kid getting tied up and gagged by a couple of thugs." He murmured as I growled.
Yanking his shirt collar, I jerked him towards me until he was an inch away from my helmet and hissed, "What thugs?"
He gulped before replying, "Black Mask's."
I released him and he fell to the ground.
"You get to live another day… And Benny-" I hissed before firing a round inches away from his skull. "You ever lie to me again and say you don't know anything, I'll kill you. Understand?"
"Yyyess."
I turned away from him, just in time to see Tim trying to contact me. I opened my com link and answered, "Little Red?"
"He's a little tied up at the moment." Black Mask hissed as I felt my blood boiling in anger.
"Let him go. I'm the one you want." I growled.
"You and I are a lot alike. When we see something we want we take it. And I want my empire back. You want your little bird back. I'm sure we can work something out."
"If you've hurt him-"
"You'll do nothing. You want him? Come and get him." the asshole growled before disconnecting the call.
********Break********
I practically kicked the door down of the warehouse as I tossed a flash bang inside. Immediately, his thugs sprang into action as I took the down one by one. As the smoke cleared, my eyes landed on Black Mask.
"You fell to your death a year ago! What the Hell are you doing back here?" I demanded to know.
"I've come to reclaim my kingdom!"
"And I've come to burn it down! Give me Red Robin and I might let you live!"
"You still have a lot to learn, boy." The mob boss hissed.
"I've never really been one for learning." I replied.
"Too bad." He replied, drawing an AK-47.
He fired round after round as I ducked and rolled, growing closer to him with each step. Finally, I reached him and kicked the gun out of his hand.
"We have a lot in common, boy. Neither of us is afraid to die." He hissed before slicing the palm of my hand open with a knife as I tried blocking his attack.
"You took my kingdom! You stole everything I've worked for!" he yelled, kicking me into a wall.
"You took my brother!" I shouted before, slamming him into the ground.
"You've gone soft! I heard that you don't kill anymore." He hissed, kicking me away.
Every move I made, he could match. Every move he made, I could match.
"It's too bad, your precious little bird wasn't in the mood for talking. He only seemed to be in a mood for singing." He hissed as anger took control of my emotions.
Slamming him into the ground, I know I broke his ribs as my boot impacted his chest. As he was dazed, I broke his wrist as I handcuffed him to a railing in the warehouse.
"I control the drug trade! I control the gang wars! What you had is gone! It belongs to me!" I yelled. "Where is he!"
He nodded behind me as I turned to find a sheet concealing something… or someone. While making sure to snap his left leg, I approached the sheet and pulled it away to reveal Tim underneath it. He was bound, gagged, and drugged with something to keep him knocked out. But, the scary thing was the vest he was wearing. A bomb had been wired into the vest.
Roman started laughing behind me as I cut Tim's binds and gag away. I glanced behind me to see him holding the bomb's detonator in his hand. He had already pressed the button, but he was holding it down. The second he released it, Tim would die. Snatching Tim up off of the floor, I carried him directly over to the mob boss.
"Watch it, one wrong move and I'll-"
"You'll do nothing! You said you weren't afraid of dying! Go ahead! Take your finger off the damn trigger! Kill all of us! Let someone else take control of your damn kingdom!" I hissed as I studied the bomb on his chest.
He stopped laughing and made no move of removing his finger as I drew a knife.
"Don't you kill us all!" he shouted as I turned towards him. "Cut the blue wire and untwist the red wire." He muttered.
God, help me.
I sliced through the wire and closed my eyes as nothing happened. I untwisted the red one and unbuckled the vest. I carefully slipped it off of him as I turned to the asshole.
"Is it still armed?"
"Yes."
"Good." I replied before drawing my gun and emptying a round in his leg.
He hissed in pain as I dropped the armed vest into his lap.
"You have two choices Roman. With the wound on your leg, you'll bleed out within ten minutes and seeing as how one hand is cuffed to a railing and the other on a bomb… You can either wait and hope the cops save your sorry ass or you could end it all right now. But, if you ever touch one of the birds or break my rules again, I won't give you a choice." I snarled as I carried Tim out of the warehouse.
"Ason?" the small voice muttered against my neck.
"Shhhh, Babybird. You're okay now."
"Black Mask… drugs… gangs-"
"Hush now, Little Red. Wait till we get home."
"But, you said it was important to you." He mumbled as his arms wrapped around my neck.
"Some things are more important to me… Other things will just have to wait." I replied, running my gloved hand over his back as I carried him towards my bike.
