Vend has made home in a forgotten city far beneath the surface . Travelers looking for the unlawful type of shopping are the ones who use the city and it's inhabitants to their full potential. Weapons of war made for cut-rate by the pariahs who run the shops are the biggest selling points. Of course there are more than just weapons. Ships if you don't mind them stolen, upgrades for ships and weapons. Custom armor, and even Droids.

It's a warm and musty place since so many are packed in such a small area. The city isn't big and every shack is stacked on top of one another. The smell is stale air lingers and everything is damp. Vend runs one of the more sought-after shops in the burg. Very quick in crafting and his materials are durable. Vend is laying in his bed, the fan on full blast, trying to cool him down. There's a loud bang on the door. Vend takes his time getting from his bed, slowly dragging his feet to answer the door.

Vend opens the door to see Daakman standing towering over the door frame. "What do you want?" Vend asks. "Lobis Vroak has requested your presents" Daakman replied in his deep, raspy voice. Vend nods his head before walking through the doorway and out into the alley. Lobis Vroak is a business man of sorts. He pays very well for jobs that require unlawful skills. Vend has done several jobs for him over the years. But he's been trying to get out of that line of work. Vend knows it's a matter of time before he's dead or in prison. Although the pay was always good. It's just not worth it anymore to Vend.

After walking through the cities alleyways Daakman and Vend arrived to a rusty metal door. "Inside" Daakman says with a deep voice. Vend walks to the door and opens it. The door shrieks as he opens it. As he makes his way through the door he can see Lobis standing with his back to the door. Lobis is taking with a hologram on the table in front of him." I must leave know, He has arrived" Lobis tells the hologram before he switches it off. "Who was that?" Vend asks calmly. Lobis pauses for a moment "...an old friend. He's the reason why you're here" he tells Vend.

Lobis points for Vend to sit at the table across the room. But he refuses and preferred to stay standing. "then we shall stand" Lobis says. Neither of the two day anything for a brief moment. "What do you want Lobis?" Vend asks with a stern tone. "A favor that is owed to me is now due" Lobis replies. Vend let's out a sigh of disappointment "why now? What is so bad that you need?" Vend said. Lobis lays down a holopad. It opens up to a map. Vend is unfamiliar with the system so he knows its far away. The map is highlighted to a small moon.

The Luminous moon of Pucarro. A war torn plant that was batter and all but destroyed hundreds of years ago. The radiation is so powerful nobody have been close to Pucarro or it's moons since. Until a few days ago when distress beacon on the small moon turned on. "P6 is what we're calling it" Lobis says referring to the radiated moon. "Why do I care about the beacon?". Vend asks. "Because I care, so you should as well. The beacon that is alarming right now, is aboard a freighter that belongs to me" Lobis tells Vend.

Vend isn't sure yet why Lobis cares so much about this ship, he knows that Lobis is nervous, on edge about the whole situation. Vend takes a second to process everything in. "A favor is a favor, you saved my neck...what do you need me to do" he asked. Lobis is relieved, He nods his head and tells Vend "I need you to go to the ship and retrieve whatever information you can. I must know why it's there". Lobis hands over the holopad to Vend. He reaches his hand out and grabs the holopad.

Vend turns around to head out the door when Lobis says to him "I'll have a ship ready to go in an hour". Vend heads back to his place to get his droid, T9. It's a scrap bot that helps Vend forge weapons from scrap and can fix almost anything electronic. Once he get T9 he heads for the ship. Once he gets to the port sees the ship. He's knows this is the ship because it's the only one there. As he gets closer he can hear something hitting and banging from inside of the ship.

He gets to the cargo door of the ship as it's open. "Hello" he yells. The banging stops for a second then a voice shouts back aggressively "WHAT!". Vend and T9 look at each other "I say Junker" T9 tells Vend. They hear for steps approaching, they take a few steps back. Then from the shadow inside of the ship come a woman. Cargo pants with oil all of them, jacket tied around her waist with a wrench tuck snug into it, her tank top is cover in the same oil, and her dirty blonde hair that was up in a bun is just a complete mess.

The woman and Vend stare at each other. T9 looks at Vend, then back at the woman, then back at Vend. T9 makes a high pitch robot sound "Reboot in 3..2.." before he could get to one the woman says "I think that hunk of junk is broken" T9 quickly responds "I think he is too" jokingly referring to Vend. Vend cuts T9 a look, T9 shrugged his shoulders. "Lobis sent me here, I need a ship" Vend tells the woman. She walks out to the landing pad slowly, not breaking eye contact with Vend. She gets close to Vend then she looks to her left... Then to her right. "I guess since I have the only ship, you're looking for me huh?" the woman asked Vend.

"Sure" Vend says with a sturdy tone. The woman wipes some of the grease from her face "At least the metal guy has a sense of humor" she says. "Thank you ma'am. My name is T9, I'm s scrap Droid" T9 happily tell her. "So you're the useful one then...I'm Daja" she says. She sticks her hand out to T9, they shake hands. Daja turns around to walk back up the ramp into the ship. She nods her head for them to follow. They make their way into the ship "You work Lobis" Vend asks Daja as she's grabbing a drink from the cooler, she sits down, opens the drink and tells Vend "You don't?" before taking a sip.

Daja hands an unopened drink to Vend. T9 is behind Vend and puts his hand up to refuse the drink and says "No thanks, I do not require such items". Daja giggles "I like this droid". T9 gives a thumbs up with a smile on his screened face. Vend grabs the drink from. Daja then sits down across from her. T9 stays standing. "you live here, you work for Lobis at some point. I'm just a delivery girl" Daja tells them. "what about you?" she asks Vend. "welding" he tells her. Daja takes another sip from her drink. "so where am I delivering this welder and his scrap bot?" Daja asks.

Vend stands up and takes out the holopad from his pocket. He places it on the table in the middle of the room. The holopad projects the map, lighting the room up with a neon blue light. Daja stands up and walks closer to the table with admiration in her eyes. "is that...the moon of Pucarro?" Vend nods his head yes. T9 reaches for the holographic moon and starts spinning the moon. "I didn't know it could do that!" T9 says. "I thought nobody has been close to Pucarro since the war tore the planet apart?". Daja asks. "We thought so too, but a distress beacon went off on a ship that belongs to Lobis and its on that moon". Vend tells Daja as he points to the moon on the holopad.

Daja take a step closer to admire the glowing holopad. "I've been waiting for something like this for a long time" she says before grabbing the holopad. She makes her way to the cabin of the ship. Vend asks her as he follows her "Why does this excit you?!". Daja sits in her pilots seat and inserts the holopad into the computer on the dashboard. "my whole life I wanted to do something other than fix broke junk, and deliver cargo to boring places" Daja tells them. "Ah, Junker... I was right" T9 says. Daja looks back a T9. They pause for a second. T9 gives a thumbs up with a question mark on his face. Daja smiles and gives a thumbs up. T9 now has a smiley face on his.

Daja starts to power up the ship. "Buckle in!" Daja yells with excitement. Vend sets in the seat behind Daja. "I have to sit in the back with no windows, I get motion sickness" T9 exclaims, then turns around to head to the back of the ship. Vend shakes his head. Daja looks at Vend. Vend tells her before she can ask "He was programmed by an old friend...its part of his personality". Daja responds to Vend "I didn't think he got it from you". With a smile on her face. "Set a course for Pucarro" Daja tells the ship. "Yes Captain" a soft welcoming voice says over the intercoms. T9 is in the back of the cargo bay when he hears the voice over the intercom. He looks around to see where it's coming from "She sounds nice" T9 says as his nervous face turns to a smile again.
