Author's Note 4

Just wanted to address a couple of things.

Regarding requests:

As of this moment, I currently have over 68 requests for this story. And that doesn't even include requests for my other stories. So, if it has been a while and you're still waiting on me to finish yours, try to understand that there are a lot of other people I have yet to get to. I'll finish your request as soon as I can, so don't ask me how much longer. Plus, I have my own ideas as well and I do have a life. Be patient and I'll get to it as soon as I can. I haven't forgotten about ya'll.

But, I'm always looking for new material to write about. Feel free to submit any ideas. Some requests just take me longer than others.

Regarding shipping:

I've been asked if I can ship characters with other characters of the same sex. (Such as Tim with Jason… The answer is no. First off, they're technically brothers because they share the same adoptive father and that would be incest, which I find creepy and wrong.) Anyway, I only write the characters the way they appear in the comics. For example; Kyle Rayner's friend, Terry Burg. He is gay in the comics, so I write him as gay in my story Brightest Day, Blackest Night. Tim and Jason are not gay in the comics and they will not be written as such in my stories.

Regarding relationships:

A few of you have wondered why Dick's and Bruce's love interests change throughout the series. It's because mainly because they changed throughout time in the comics.

Dick has been with Donna, Kori, and Babs. He's with Donna in the first story of the series, Kori in the second of the series, and Babs in the third and fourth part of the series.

Throughout time, Bruce has been paired with Selina, Diana, Vicki, Talia, Zatanna, and several others. I use different girls for different things. When he's Batman, I use Selina. When he's with the Justice League, I use Diana or sometimes I'll pick Zatana. When Damian's around, I use Talia. Vicki and others are paired with Bruce, not Batman.

Regarding the setting of all of my stories:

The entire Bat Bro series is set in the same world along with my DC family stories and Second Chances. Blood of the Skull goes with Breaking Point. Beware the Court stands alone.

Regarding new/old stories:

The sequel to Blood of the Skull is still a work in process. It will be published as soon as I finish the first chapter.

Beware the Court is in Writer's Block Hell. But, I'm still going to finish the story… Eventually.

Second Chances is still a work in process. It should be updated soon.

I'm thinking about giving the Atlantians their own story with Arthur, Mera, Garth, Tula, Kaldur, and AJ… But, I'm not sure yet. A lot of people hate Aquaman, but I think he's awesome. (Just play Injustice. It will change your mind about him. He's a badass.) But, I'll only publish it if enough people are interested.

Regarding me:

I'll be starting my second semester of college next week. So, my writing time is about to become very limited again. I'll try to update at least one story a week, but ya'll know why if that doesn't happen… And I got all A's my first semester! (Government was my highest with a 101 and composition was my lowest with a dead 90… My professor wasn't a big fan of my papers, but yet I made a hundred on every single test and quiz… Oh well.)
