Chapter 4 Black Out Trap
"Nina? Where is she?" Bryan exclaimed.
"Looks like she's on a very small island off the coast of Japan," Tian replied.
"Well I guess we're going to Japan then." Replied Dr. Bosconovitch walking into the grassy field.
"No. Only two of us will be going, Dr. Bosconovitch," Bryan stated with a cold fury in his eyes. He raised his leg and sent a powerful kick right to the doctors stomach. The doctor fell to his back in shock. Bryan jumped on him and sent punch after punch to the doctor's face. All Tian could do was watch, he had never seen someone in such rage. Bryan kept punching the doctor until he was still. He then got up wiping his hands on the doctor's pristine white cloak. "You have 5 minutes to pack what you need before people suspect something has happened to our beloved doctor" Bryan declared. Shaking out of his stupor Tian moved into action. What's done is done.
Tian grabbed what he thought would be useful, keeping track of time on his watch that his parents gave him for graduation. The watch always reminded him what he had done to his friends and family. Everyone, especially his parents, had been worried about him when he vanished 3 years ago and didn't contact anyone for 3 days. It seemed a lifetime ago now. The first 3 days he was basically in a coma healing and then starting up training. He remembered that his leave from work turned into him just quitting because of a "family emergency" and as for his family he just said he was moving to Japan. It wasn't a complete lie he had been training in Germany but now he's going to actually be in Japan.
"I guess I'll need socks, definitely boxers. Oh! And those miracle pills. Yes, definitely those. And can't forget my laptop." Tian was muttering to himself when Bryan walked in. He just had a military looking duffle bag on his shoulder. He gave Tian a nod to the door where they heard shouting. They sprung into action, Tian grabbing the last of his things and Bryan opening up the only window in the room.
"We're jumping!" Bryan shouted. Tian wanted to shake his head in the negative, but Bryan had other ideas. He grabbed Tian like he wasn't a now muscled grown man, thanks to all the training, and jumped out from the third story window. Tian screamed he was afraid of heights and three stories was pretty high. He didn't even like looking out from the balcony on a second story building. Bryan landed like a cat except on 2 legs, it was so delicate Tian wasn't even jostled by the landing. A little too delicate for a human to achieve. Byan set Tian down gentler than when he picked him up. He grabbed his arm and ran them to a giant hangar behind the building. Tian had no idea that this had been back here, but now was not the time to stare in awe, Bryan was already approaching a small jet. Tian climbed in, setting his bag in the limited space under him, while Byan started it up. They both put on the little helmets with the headphones and mics hooked to them, and in a few minutes flew off. Surprisingly no one was chasing after them. And soon they were headed south to Japan.
