I went to Coulson's office intending to tell him how I felt about him, the boys were going out to dinner so I decided to tell him after they left the "bus". I knocked on his office door

I started to leave when Phil said:
Phill: No come in, me and Daisy are done.
I went in and Daisy came out to greet us.
Phil: So Mel, what you have to tell me?
I smiled when he called me that because he was the only one who could do it.
May: well ... here it is ... I...
I took a deep breath, in the meantime he had approached me, we were too close, in the end I couldn't stand it anymore and I kissed him.

We went to the others who looked at us in a strange way

Daisy: yes, of course, then 0.8.4 is in Canada in a long-abandoned facility so it should be easy to get in and get the item.

I went to the kitchen, I was taking a small bottle of water from the lower cabinet, I heard someone lean on the table behind me, so I got up and saw Phill looking at my ass.

Once we took the weapons we entered the structure, Daisy was right, fortunately there was no one. We took 0.8.4, but as we were about to leave we heard mechanical steps, turned around and saw the last "person" we wanted to meet: Deathlok. Jemma, Daisy and Fitz they parried behind a wall while Phil and I were fighting against Deathlok, we were going to beat him but at one point he started shooting from the arm, we were dodging all the bullets, but while Phil was reloading his gun a bullet was about to hit him so I started forward to him and the bullet hit me. Deathlok left by smashing the ceiling and I collapsed on the ground in pain, the bullet hit me in the shoulder, it was nothing compared to the other wounds I had gotten but it lost a lot of blood. The boys approached me hastily
May: guys I'm fine ...

Phil: Mel, Mel woke up. What happened Jemma?
Jemma: a lot of blood comes out of the wound, we have to carry her on the plane so I can take out the bullet and cure it.
Phil: All right, let's go
I took her in my arms like a bride and I took her to the car, on the way by car she was sitting on my legs still unconscious, it hurt me to see her so especially since it was my fault from a certain point of view. She tooks a bullet for me. I was immersed in my thoughts and didn't notice that we had arrived.
Daisy: sir, we have arrived
I got out of the car always with Mel in my arms and took her to the lab, Jemma took the bullet from her but since she had lost too much blood she had to stay in bed at rest.

I was sitting in the chair next to May's bed, I closed my eyes because I was exhausted. I woke up with someone stroking my hair, I looked up and saw May waking up smiling at me, I jumped up and hugged her like it was the most important thing in my life, even if it was after all.

she said laughing

I approached her face slowly and kissed her, as I missed her lips.
Phil: can you know what the hell you did?
I asked her in a sweet tone as I removed a lock of hair that fell on her face

SHe pulled me to herself and kissed me, it was a sweet, chaste kiss but expressed what we felt for the other.

We kissed again and came closer to her, Jemma arrived

He said in an amused tone, tugging lightly on my arm
Jemma: now you should rest and move your shoulder as little as possible
May: agree
Jemma came out of the room and I lay down next to May
Phil: you should rest now

Mel got closer to me and crouched on my chest as I hugged her. We closed our eyes and fell asleep together, in that rather uncomfortable bed, but it didn't matter because finally after so long we were together.
