Twilight: The king was mad with power and he just shut everypony out.

Starlight: I've never seen that type of rage before.

Twilight: I'm just trying to figure out how somepony could think that his friends didn't care about him and then turn into a raging creature mad with power.

Rainbow Dash: I don't know how that creature was able to close the portal to limbo.

Twilight: Zachary isn't like the typical pony. His magic is four times the normal amount of alicorn magic. Also, he knows when things are coming. He's not one to fall for things so easily.

Starswirl: I remember when he first started acting like that.

Twilight: What do you mean?

Starswirl: When me and the other pillars defeated the sirens, his eyes glowed red. Part of their magic had been given to him. When we sent Stygian to Limbo, we discovered that the king had not come with us because for some reason, after discovering this recently, alicorns cannot be trapped in limbo. So when we disappeared, he was stuck here in Equestria.

Twilight: Why couldn't alicorns go to limbo?

Starswirl: Because if he gone there, the entire universe would be unstable and be destroyed in an instant.

Twilight: Why would it be destroyed?

Starswirl: If limbo senses too much power, it naturally becomes unstable and engulfs everything. He literally has that much power.

Twilight: How did you know all of this?

Starswirl: We were best friends back a long time ago. He would tell me everything that was bothering him.

Twilight: I never imagined a male alicorn having that much power.

Starswirl: Unfortunately, this situation you six are in is the exact same one when Stygian became mad with power.

Twilight: How can something like this happen to one of my best friends? Worse of all, where did he gain all that power?

Pony of Shadows: OH does it feel good to be back. How dare they banish me. They should know better than that. I sensed somepony broke me free. Time to go to find Twilight. HAHAHAHAHA!

Twilight: I'm just gonna go to bed. There's no point in trying to read something.

Pony of Shadows: A lost alicorn who's best friend was lost to the darkness.

Twilight: SHOW YOURSELF!

Pony of Shadows: WITH PLEASURE!

Twilight: HOW ARE YOU BACK?

Pony of Shadows: You and your other friends think you can banish me. I am truly the most powerful creature in the world. I sensed someone missing my presence. My plan worked after all.

Twilight: You will never get away with this. I will get the elements along with my friends and we will defeat you.

Pony of Shadows: HA! I DON'T THINK SO! THE ONLY PLACE YOU'RE GOING IS WITH ME BACK TO MY CASTLE!

Twilight: NOT IF I CAN HELP IT!

Pony of Shadows: Is that the best you got? Because I've seen better than that. Take this. HAHA! I HAVE GOT YOU NOW! NOW I HAVE ALL ETERNITY TO TAKE MY REVENGE ON YOU!

The Pony of Shadows returned to his castle and dropped Twilight in his throne room.

Twilight: *moaning* Where am I? OH NO! I'M IN THE CASTLE OF SHADOWS!

Pony of Shadows: Congratulations! You have figured out where you are. Where did you think I would take you? Discord's Dimension? Not in a million years.

Twilight: *saying annoyed* How did you escape? The Elements were supposed to keep you contained.

Pony of Shadows: How many times do I need to tell you. IT WAS PART OF MY PLAN!

Twilight: What do you mean it was your plan? What was it anyways?

Pony of Shadows: *rolls eyes* My plan was to get you to feel pity for me, then when you banished me, you still felt sorry for me which broke the banishment spell.

Twilight: What? How is that possible?

Pony of Shadows: Oh Twilight. There are so many things you do not know about that I already know about. Your "love" for me broke the banishment spell because the elements said they released me in order to be "reformed" or some crap like that.

Twilight: How is that even possible?

Pony of Shadows: Because Twilight. Things in this world don't make any sense.

Twilight: You can chill you know.

Pony of Shadows: Nah, I don't feel like it. It's funny seeing you like this.

Twilight: ENOUGH! YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH OR I'M GONNA GIVE IT TO YOU!

Pony of Shadows: *says mockingly* OH I AM SO TERRIFIED! Yeah, I'm not scared at the least. You're gonna have to try harder than that to actually threaten me.

Twilight: *charges up horn and fires magic removing some dark crystal*

Pony of Shadows: Oh? You want to do this? GAME ON! I can easily beat you though.

Twilight and the Pony of Shadows continued fighting outside. Twilight was starting to get tired, but the Pony of Shadows wasn't even breaking a sweat. Seriously, this dude is that powerful. Every time Twilight would break out of dark crystals, the Pony of Shadows kept respawning them and had his dragons help him out even though they stood no chance against Twilight's magic. But he used them so they could distract Twilight.

Twilight: *saying exhausted* I don't know how much longer I can take him on.

Pony of Shadows: Oh this is really fun. I'm not even breaking a sweat. I could do this all day. Face it Twilight. I'm simply too powerful for you. I am even more powerful than Discord. Even if you faced me in my weaker form, I could still beat you easily.

Twilight: You will never be any more powerful than anypony's magic combined.

Pony of Shadows: Have you forgotten yet again? I have four times the normal amount of alicorn magic. I could defeat you even if you had all of the princesses' magic combined.

Twilight: You might be right on that part, but you will never be more powerful than the Elements of Harmony or the Magic of Friendship.

Twilight then began to glow and instantly her friends, the two sisters, and the pillars appeared. The Pony of Shadows was scared. He knew that was the one type of magic he would always lose to. He tried firing dark magic at the rainbow beams but it was no use as he was defeated once more.

Pony of Shadows: NO WHAT IS THIS? YOU CAN'T DEFEAT ME! I AM THE MOST POWERFUL CREATURE IN THE WORLD!

Twilight: You can't defeat the Magic of Friendship. *The elements begin firing laser beams at the Pony of Shadows*

Pony of Shadows: *firing dark magic* NO YOU WILL NOT BANISH ME AGAIN! ARGGHHHH! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The Pony of Shadows was reverted back into King Zachary. All his friends were happy to see him again, but he didn't feel the same way. He thought he was gonna get exiled out of Equestria and his friends would never forgive him for what he did.

King Zachary: *looking scared* No. I can't be in exile. I'll just kill myself now before you do anything.

Twilight: Wait. Don't do that to yourself. We are just glad we have our friend back.

King Zachary: I'm considered no friend to you. I was driven by darkness, took control of you, and even tried fighting against you. I deem that unforgivable.

Twilight: Of course not you are our friend. Even though what you did was scary, you still felt bad.

King Zachary: How can you forgive me for something so bad? I practically made Discord look modest.

Twilight: Because that's what friends do. We all are sorry for ignoring you. You just wanted to hang out with us and we neglected you for it.

King Zachary: I'm the one that should be sorry. I automatically assumed that you guys didn't care about me because you guys were busy. I remember that we all have lives. I'm busy as it is, so I should have been more understanding towards you guys. Can you ever forgive me?

Twilight: We already have and always will. Isn't that right girls?

Rainbow Dash: Heck yeah!

Applejack: Yep!

Rarity: Most certainly!

Fluttershy: Of course!

Pinkie Pie: Anytime!

King Zachary then destroyed the castle he built up and reverted it back to the worn Castle of the Two Sisters. He then went with his friends back to Ponyville to try and fix the broken relationship.

King Zachary: Ahh, finally back home. It's been forever since I've seen this home. Hopefully I won't go mad again.

Twilight: Well, if you do, we'll be right here to bring you back.

Fluttershy: Now that this is over, what do we do now?

Pinkie Pie: I VOTE PARTY!

King Zachary: Sounds good to me. That's definitely Pinkie Pie for you. Go on ahead. Make this the best party you got.

Pinkie Pie: I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!

Later that night, there was a party at King Zachary's castle. Everypony in Ponyville was at this party. While everypony was partying, King Zachary and the Mane Six were all standing next to each other watching the party.

King Zachary: Well, it looks like this party was a success.

Twilight: It sure was.

Pinkie Pie: Cupcakes anyone?

King Zachary: I'll take that! *inhales it* *laughs* You guys are the best friends I could ask for. You will always be here to support me when I need you guys.

Twilight: And we will be here to support you when we need you.
