Before I go into the actual disclaimer, here is a review that was left on my Shantae fanfiction I've made within the last month of 2021 and into 2022.
It's by a person who is very toxic and has been known to harrass and abuse anyone he wants and thinks that NO ONE can make him stop. I'm going to make sure that someone, I don't care who, but that someone important can see what he is doing and realize that he's doing this not just to me, but everyone.
Reviews for Ricky the Male Genie S82161 chapter 7 . Jan 23
I used the name of the OC of this story behind your back. I used it in a story of mine called The Victorian Thief. Why did I still Ricky Harlem you may ask? Because I felt like it. OC's are in the public domain. You don't have the right to own the character of Ricky Harlem. I own him now and there's nothing you can do about it. I'd like to see you try and report what I did to the admins. They won't care. They wouldn't give a shit about your report.
This is a fanfic of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon... the original one.
I will not accept rant reviews from people pointing out every minute nitpick in this fanfic. If you do this, I am blocking you, deleting the fanfic, and redoing it. This has happened to numerous other peoples' fanfics of Pokemon in the past and I am prepared to be just as cruel to the people doing this as they are to others.
This fanfic is in the POV of the main character, Cher the Mareep.
With this out of the way, let's begin.
Chapter 1:
"Urgh... where am I?... I think I can remember some voice... asking me questions..." I groaned as I tried to remember... I couldn't, at all. It was all very blurry to me. And then I felt the breeze against my skin as well as a voice speaking to me.
"Excuse me... are you okay? Wake up, please? Come on, get up!" I heard a girl's voice ask. I then opened my eyes and saw the one who was talking... looked like a round ball with a face and colored blue with a tan underbelly... which was nearly half of its body. "Whew, you're awake! What a relief!" she smiled.
"Where am I?..." I asked in confusion.
"You were passed out here, so I waited for you to get up. Anyways, I'm Roll the Spheal, nice to meet you," she smiled at me. "And what's your name? Because I've never seen you around before."
"Well... my name is Cher and... I'm a human," I said, remembering that much at least.
"Huh? Human? But you look exactly like a Mareep," Roll said, me gasping at that and only then realizing she was onto something... I was on all fours and I found I didn't have fingers! I looked around and saw a large bunch of wool on me and, upon turning the whole way around, I saw that I had a yellow and black-striped tail with a red orb on the end of it.
"I can't believe it... I actually am a Mareep? But... how could that happen?" I asked in confusion.
"I don't know, honestly... so you say you're human, right?" Roll asked.
"Yeah, but I can't remember much else... I think I got memory loss," I admitted.
"Don't worry, I'm sure that I could help you remember stuff," Roll smiled at me, which I smirked at.
"That'd be appreciated," I admitted to her... but then something happened.
"Oh dear! Please, someone help me!" exclaimed a female voice that came from the west, a large Butterfree coming from that direction.
"What's the matter?" Roll asked.
"My Caterpie is in danger! A large fissure opened in the ground and he fell into the hole! And when I went to go after him, a bunch of wild Pokemon attacked me!" Butterfree said, me gasping at that, knowing that I had to help out in some way.
"Don't worry, miss, we'll save your kid! Come on, Roll," I said to my new spherical friend, her nodding and rolling after me down the path to the area in question. And when we entered it, Roll gawked at it.
"Oh, I got it! This is a Mystery Dungeon!" she said, me being confused at that as she then explained further on our way through. "Mystery Dungeons are areas that form due to the outcropping of natural disasters in this world. No one knows why they form, to be honest, but each one has a different layout every time you go into it and they contain Pokemon that have gone angry or crazy from the disasters... such as this one right here," Roll said as we came across a Sunkern that looked pretty pissed. Roll then attacked it with a very chilly blast of snow, which made Sunkern fall over with swirly eyes.
"That's Powder Snow, one of my most useful attacks," Roll smiled proudly as I thought of an attack that I might be able to use. And I found my opportunity to use it when a mean-looking Wurmple came from the area near a set of stairs. I then tried to think of a move and rushed the Wurmple, finding that when I rammed into it, I sent it flying and managed to knock it out!
"Whoa! That was a Body Slam attack! I didn't know Mareep could have that move!" Roll gawked at me.
"Is it strong?" I asked with a smile.
"Very," Roll smirked as we moved onward some more, going deeper into the Mystery Dungeon and taking out enemy Pokemon left and right until we found something different. A little green Caterpie that was crying in a corner.
"Mommy... where are you?" he cried as me and Roll appeared.
"Hey, kid?" Roll said, getting his attention. "You're mom's worried about you, Caterpie. Come on, we'll get you back to her."
"O-Okay!" Caterpie smiled as we then escorted the Caterpie out of the dungeon the way we came from, protecting it from harm from other mean Pokemon until we got back to the Butterfree, who looked extremely relieved and happy to see her kid was safe.
"Oh, thank you two so much! I was so worried about my darling!" Butterfree said with glee. "Please, tell me what your names are."
"I'm Roll," my spherical partner smiled.
"And I'm Cher," I smiled.
"Cool!" the little Caterpie said, him looking at me with happiness and wonder, which felt both weird as well as rewarding at the same time. Being able to save a kid in a place full of baddies felt very uplifting... and it was then that I had something come to mind... almost like a small jolt to the noggin!
"Here, have these as token of our thanks," Butterfree smiled as she handed some items to Roll and I simply thought of the memory that had just returned to me. What was it? It was the fact that, for some odd reason, one of my favorite things to do was help those in need, which had something to do with my current situation... but of what, I was uncertain.
"Come on, Caterpie, it's time we get home and have dinner," Butterfree smiled.
"Bye, Cher and Roll! Thanks again!" Caterpie smiled as they then went off on their way and I looked at my partner with a smile.
"Thanks for your help in that, Cher. I gotta say, you're pretty tough... so, what are you going to do now?" Roll asked, me frowning at that.
"Well... to tell the truth, for some odd reason, I barely remember anything about myself... I don't even know how I woke up here in this form... but there is one thing that I remembered after rescuing Caterpie," I smiled, Roll getting interested in that. "I remembered that I really like helping those in need, which is part of the reason that I turned into a Pokemon... but other than that, I can't remember anything but my name and that I'm a human," I admitted.
"I see. Hey, I have an idea," Roll smiled. "If you don't have a place to stay, I know the perfect place. It's the place that I live. Come on, I'll show you." Roll then rolled on ahead and I followed after, not stopping until we managed to get to what looked like a very adorable house that looked like it was a made of ice, but it was actually glowing rocks. And it even had a garden in the front, which made me fall in love with it.
"Wow, this is a pretty cool house, Roll!" I smirked at her.
"Isn't it? I built it myself," she smirked. "I was wondering if you'd be willing to bunk with me for awhile, as well as join a Rescue Team," Roll said, my interest showing at that.
"Rescue Team? What's that?" I inquired.
"It's a team of Pokemon that go into different Mystery Dungeons and help Pokemon who are in trouble. With the recent natural disasters that have been happening, more and more Mystery Dungeons are appearing, along with more Pokemon needing rescue. If we can become a rescue team, we can help people, which you say you like doing. And hey, maybe if we can do it for long enough, we can manage to help you regain your memories!" Roll smiled.
"Fantastic!" was all I could say about how golden of an opportunity was presented to me. "I'd love to try it out!" I smirked at her.
"Awesome! As for the team name, why don't you come up with it?" Roll smiled.
"I got one. Rescue Team Snowfleece," I smirked.
"Snowfleece? That's a pretty cool and peculiar name! It's like combining our two different traits into one! Alright, starting tomorrow, we are Rescue Team Snowfleece! I'll go to the Pelipper Post Office and put in a request for us to become a Rescue Team!" Roll smirked at that as she then went to the east and I smiled at that as I suddenly felt a bit tired as I saw the sun setting in the distance.
"Couldn't hurt to go in for a spell," I smiled as I walked into the house and saw it was very cozy in there... almost a bit too much, considering the wool on my body made it pretty hot. "Hrm... you'd think that I could just take this off like it were a coat, but nope, stuck on like glue..." I frowned as I simply laid on the ground and tried to sleep in the hot air, failing miserably... until I felt a slight chill take the heat off of my body. I looked at the source and saw that it was Roll laying down next to me. "Oh, thanks, Roll... it was a bit hot in here for me with my wool... thanks for cooling me off," I smiled at her.
"It's because of my special Ice Body ability. I'm cold to the touch and, if an opponent makes a physical attack to me, there's a good chance they'll get frozen solid. Just snuggling together, though? It's perfect for both of us. I need warmth, you need cold, so this works out for both of us," Roll smiled.
"Yeah, thanks, Roll... here's hoping to a good day tomorrow," I smiled before I felt myself drift off to sleep.
