It's a nice night in Surrey Lane, a man was walking through the streets. He grabs a flask and waves around and all the street lights went inside the flask. He keeps waving it around and then sees a cat meowing. He looks down at the cat and smiles, "Hello Minerva," he says.
The cat changes into an older woman and she walks towards Dumbledore, "Good evening Professor Dumbledore," she says.
They started walking together and McGonagall trembles, "Are you sure that we can leave this boy with these people, I have seen them and they are not very nice people," she says. Dumbledore nods, "He is the only family he has left that can keep evil ones away from him," he says. She nods and looks at the house, "But professor, we could have just left him somewhere safer like the burrows with the Weasley's or the Granger family," she says.
Dumbledore stops in his tracks, "No we can't put him there...he is more at risk to stay with the Weasley's, he is more vulnerable to the evil ones and plus they have a full family and the Rosemary's next door next door to the Weasley's, I don't think it would be safe for him," he says. She nods and looks at him again, "Right...what about the Granger's, surely there are the muggle Grangers," she asked. Dumbledore shakes his head, "It would cause way too many commotions, and plus they have a witch in the family and a werecat in a different family I think things will cause to heat up," he says. She sighs, "I guess the Dursley has their way of creating their own smell then...foolish people," she says.
Dumbledore and McGonagall came to the house when a motorcycle came flying down the street, "Good even Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall," the man says. McGonagall sighs and Dumbledore look at him, "Did you bring the boy Hagrid," he asked. Hagrid nods as he came off the motorcycle, "Yep...he fell asleep along the way...do be careful though you don't want to wake him up," he says as he gave the baby to McGonagall and Dumbledore.
Dumbledore walks with the boy, "It's best if he is safe here, but there will be a time when he needs to go somewhere else," he says. McGonagall smiles, "I can't wait for him to join Hogwarts, the journey begins here," she says. He nods and then looks back at Hagrid who is tearing up, "Don't worry it's not goodbye forever," he says. Hagrid nods.
He puts down the boy with a letter, "You will meet wonderful friends who will company you on your journey, my boy, goodbye Harry Potter," he says.
11 years later...
Harry was sleeping in bed...well cupboard when a woman's voice yell out, "Wake up now," she yelled. He woke up and put on his glasses and went out of the cupboard. He looks around and then went to the kitchen. He looks at the woman, "Good morning Aunt Petunia," he says. She sighs, "Hurry up and get the breakfast," she says. He nods and an older man is sitting in front of the table, "Get me my coffee, boy," he says. Harry nods, "Yes Uncle Vernon," he says as he gave a cup of coffee to Vernon.
Suddenly the letters came and Petunia look at Harry, "That must be the letter," she says. Harry nods and walks to the door and got the letters. He then looks through the letter and sees a letter to Harry Potter, he looks around to see who gave it to him and then walks to the dining room.
He gave the rest of the letters to Vernon except for his letter. All of a sudden, Dudley, Harry's cousin gasped, "Look father Harry's got a letter," he says. Harry yelled out at him, "Hey that's mine," he says. Vernon laughs, "Who would send a letter to you, "he asked. He looks at the letter and then looks at Harry. Harry gulps and fears what his Uncle is gonna give him.
In the outskirts of Surrey, lives another family.
A woman calls out, "Hermonie, you got two letters for you, come down and get it, sweetheart," she says. Hermonie nods, "Coming mum," she says. Hermonie went downstairs and sees his father leaving for work, "Oh you leaving for work father," she asked. He nods as he came to kiss Hermonie's forehead, "Yes darling, I will be back tonight for supper," he says as he left the door.
Hermonie came to her mother and sees two letters, "It's for you from I don't know and the second one is from your Uncle Bryan and Aunt Trina from Paris," she says. Hermonie smiles, "Thank you, mum," she says.
Hermonie went back upstairs and reads the letter from her Uncle and Aunt, "Dear Hermonie, I have a surprise for you, we got a new member of the family, triplets this time, their names are Sam, Alex, and Nick. But that is just not why we wrote to you, we are here just to say sorry for not keeping up with the post and stuff because of our oldest daughter passing, we want to make it up to you next summer after you finish Hogwarts, love Uncle Bryan and Aunt Trina," says the letter. She smiles and opens the next letter, "Dear Mrs. Granger, we would like to inform you that you are invited to go to Hogwarts for witchcraft and wizardry," she says as she got excited. She went downstairs to her mother, "Mum I get to go to Hogwarts of witchcraft and wizardry it's a school for witches and wizards like me," she says.
Her mum got excited, "Oh that is such good news Hermonie, your cousin might have got the same letter," she says. Hermonie nods, "Yeah she must have," she says.
In Paris, France on the other side of London.
Inside a nice mansion, Trina, Hermonie's Aunt walks through the halls, "Valerie, can you come down for a minute, your father wants to talk to you," she says. Valeri nods and walks downstairs.
Downstairs, Bryan is looking through the letter, and Valerie came to her father, "Yes father," she asked. He looks at her and smiled, "Congratulations, you are going to Hogwarts," he says. She smiles, "Really...I can't wait," she says. He hugs her, "Well starting tomorrow we are gonna go get your stuff at Diagon Alley I will show you where it is," he says. She nods, and sighs, "You think Bianca would have been happy," she asked.
Trina listens behind the door and Bryan nods, "Yes I think your older sister will be really happy," he says. She smiles and walks out of the living room.
Her mother smiles at her daughter, "She would be proud, you go to Hogwarts and finish the whole year for your older sister," she says. Valerie nods, "Yes mother, I got to go pack for Hogwarts," she says. She walks to her room and smiles.
Back in London.
It is nighttime, not at surrey but at a different location on the other side of the ocean.
Harry was laying on the ground sighing and he draws a cake and blows, "Happy Birthday Harry," he says.
Suddenly there was a bang at the door which stir Dudley, Vernon, and Petunia awake. Vernon is holding a shot-gun whimpering along the way.
The door smashes open and everyone screamed.
A tall man stands in front of the door looking around, "Sorry about that," he says. He grabs the door and puts it back. He came to the couch and light the fire. Vernon came walking towards him, "Who are you...you are breaking in and entering, get out before I pop your head off," he says. The tall man looks at Vernon and then at Dudley, "Well Harry, you seem grown up since the last time I saw you," the tall man says.
Dudley stutters, "Actually I'm not harry," he says.
Harry comes out of hiding, "Actually I am," he says. The tall man nods and smiles, "Of course you are," he says. Harry nods, "And who you might be sir," he asked. The tall man pokes at the fire, "Rubeus Hagrid, keeper of keys and grounds of Hogwarts," he says. Harry got confused, and Hagrid gasped, "Oh yeah, I forgot...there is a little present for you, I might have sat on it...here you go," he says as he gives the cake to Harry, "Happy birthday Harry," Hagrid says. Harry licks the cake, "Thanks, but why are you here," he asked. Hagrid smiles, "I also forgot to give you your letter from Hogwarts," he says as he gave the letter to him. Harry reads the letter, and look at Hagrid, "But Hagrid, I don't have any magic powers, I am just Harry," he says. Hagrid laughs, "Well just...harry...have you ever experience deja vu," he asked. Harry nods, and Hagrid smiles, "You're a wizard Harry," he says. Harry gasped and Vernon shakes his head, "He will not be going to that wretched school," he says.
Petunia shakes her head, "Oh I shouldn't have gotten you, I remember that one time when my sister got her first letter, my parents were proud of her and then she went to that school and met that stupid Potter and now they got you and here we are doing the same process...and look at that my sister and her husband died in a accident,"she says. Harry got mad, "An accident, you said that my parents died in a car crash," he says.
Hagrid stares at the Dursley's, "A car crash, Lily and James killed in a car crash, and what muggle folk you know so much," he asked. Harry got confused, "Muggle," he asked. Hagrid looks at Harry, "Non-magic folk," Hagrid says. Harry got surprised, and Hagrid kept going, "You don't know the most famous headmaster of Hogwarts himself, Albus Dumbledore," he says.
Vernon snares at Hagrid, "I am not gonna have some old coot teach him magic tricks," he says. Hagrid point his umbrella at Vernon, "Don't you ever speak to me that way about professor Dumbledore in front of me...now where was I...oh Harry let's get your butt out of here or you rather stay here and be with your family," he asked. Harry looks at the Dursley and then he followed Hagrid.
Downtown London
Harry follow Hagrid while he is reading the letter of what to bring to Hogwarts. Hagrid listens in, "As most students are required, they can also bring a pet, either a cat, a owl or a toad. It is also required to get a wand," Harry says. He looks at Hagrid, "You think we could find this all in London," he asked, Hagrid laughs, "If you know where to go," he says.
They came upon what seems to be a coffee shop. Harry and Hagrid walk in and there is everyone talking and drinking beer. A bartender sees Hagrid, "Ah Hagrid, the usual," he asked.
Hagrid shakes his head, "No sorry Luis, but I have some business to tend to with young Harry Potter," he says. Everyone got quiet and Luis gasped, "Blessed my soul, it's Harry Potter," he says.
Harry waves and Harry notice a man with a tuban. Hagrid smiles, "Ah Harry this is professor Quirrell he will be your defense against the dark arts teacher in Hogwarts," he says.
Quirrell smiles nervously, "N-nice to meet y-you m-m-mr. Potter," he says. Harry waves and Hagrid embarrassly laugh, "Well time to go, lots to buy," he says. Harry waves, "Goodbye," he says.
Outside of the Leaky Cauldron, Hagrid walks out and Harry get's confused, "Hagrid how do people know who I am, what makes me so famous," Harry asked. Hagrid shrugs, "Um I am not the right person to answer that," he says as he went up to the brick wall. He taps on the bricks and the bricks move away, "Harry welcome to Diagon Alley," he says.
