The six Death Gliders 'fell' towards the moon of Io. They were on a ballistic course, having shut down their engines once they were away from the two Ha'tak, and then used thrusters to rotate 'backwards' 90 degrees while maintaining the same course. This meant they could not see their destination but could look 'up' through the canopy of thee fighters to watch the ships 'above' them.

When Apophis' Mothership started firing, for a second SG1 and the 'Rebel' Jaffa were worried that their ride to Earth had been discovered, but then they realised the Ha'tak was firing blind. A moment later they realised why neither Ha'tak could find the White Stars.

The two White Stars emerged from the shadow that was cast between the two Ha'tak and immediately began firing on Apophis' vessel. The fire from the White Stars crossed the space between them and Apophis' Ha'tak almost instantly, only to be stopped by the Ha'tak's shields, but the observers were impressed with how tight the barrage of shots was grouped. A second barrage was fired at the same general point and the shield failed in that spot allowing the last two shots of the second White Star, the one with slightly more erratic firing, to impact the hull in two distinct impacts a few metres apart. The two shots managed to blow all the way through the Ha'tak and impacted on the shield on the other side, but missed the vital components that they had been aimed at.

Now with a clear target, the two Ha'tak began to fire at the two White Stars, who spit up in order to circle around for another pass. Unlike the forward mounted, lightspeed weapons of the White Stars, the Ha'tak's plasma weapons were much slower, but the Goa'uld vessels had many more weapons located all around the vessel. The much greater speed and agility of the White Stars keep them ahead of the Goa'uld plasma weapons, while the shields of the Ha'taks helped protect them from the much more powerful weapon of the White Stars, that needed numerous hits to penetrate the shields.

"Oh my God." Carter said. "I recognise those ships."

"Who are they, Carter?" Jack asked.

"They can't exist, sir." Carter said. "They are fictional."

"What have you got for me, Faith?" Xander asked.

"Their weapons system is… weird." Faith replied. "It is coherent plasma, but it really inefficient against physical material. Could be designed against shields. They hit White Star 22 twice and did minimal damage. Regen systems are dealing with them."

"And our weapons systems?" Xander asked.

"Once we get past their shields, we rip them to shreds. It looks like they got no armour under those shields." Faith replied. "It's just getting past the shields."

"Shok'na Chase." Xander said. "We need to concentrate fire to get past the shields."

"Comms, get me Shok'na Rosenberg." Cordy ordered.

The two White Stars turned to make another pass, but adjusted their course into formation rather than fighting individually as they had done for the last few minutes. As they formed up, White Star 22 took the lead with White Star 19 close behind. Both White Stars began firing continuously into the specific locations as identified by Faith.

After the third pass on Apophis' Ha'tak, enough of the critical systems were disabled that the ship's systems went dark. The two White Stars then turned their attention on Klorel's Ha'tak. Having seen the tactics that were used against Apophis' vessel, Klorel's Ha'tak concentrated their fire on the approach path that the two White Stars were using. After being hit twice, White Star 22 had to break off their attack by rolling to the left, out of the path of White Star 19.

The fire of White Star 19, when combined with White Star 22's prior to their break off, was able to bust through the Shields of Klorel's Ha'tak failed and the last shot penetrated the ship. Normally the damage done would not have been enough to take out the massive ship, but the weapon set off a number of the bundles of C4 that Carter and Jackson had set, creating a chain reaction that breached the core of the Ha'tak and caused it to explode. White Star 19 had pulled away to make another pass when the ship exploded but was still close enough to rattle the White Star.

The three Death Gliders that contained the members of SG1 and two of the Rebel Jaffa, landed in the shuttle bay of White Star 19 while the other three Death Gliders, included Bra'tak, landed on White Star 22.

SG1 and the Rebel Jaffa were met in the shuttle bay by Shok'na Xander Harris.

"My name is Shok'na Harris." Xander introduced. "I will take you to Shok'na Chase, who is in command."

"Right." Jack said as Xander turned. "Who do you work for?"

"We are Anla'shok." Xander said with a shrug.

"Minbari or Interstellar Alliance?" Sam asked.

"Interstellar Alliance." Xander replied as they reached the bridge.

"You're all teenagers." Jack observed.

"Yes." Cordy replied. "Most of the crew are newly graduated recruits."

"And the Shok'na?" Sam asked. "I assume the White Stars came with you."

"And I assume you have watched the Babylon 5 TV show?" Xander countered, getting a nod from Sam and a confused look from the other members of SG1. "Similar event to the Babylon 4 incident with Entil'Zha Sinclair. The creator of Babylon 5 was a latent Telepath who had been exposed to a Vorlon."

"And your ages?" Daniel asked. "I assume you are not teens yourself."

"Age regression as a side effect of temporal dislocation." Cordy replied.

"So, what are your plans?" Jack asked.

"What we Rangers have always done." Cordy said.

"We walk in dark no others will enter." Xander began.

"We stand on the bridge and no one may pass." The entire bridge crew continued. "We live for The One, we die for The One."

"Carter?" Jack asked.

"In the show they fought evil, in the form of the Shadows and their allies." Sam replied.

"Right." Jack said.

"Harris, prepare for jump." Cordy ordered. "Thomas, relay the Jump command to White Star 22. Tell them to follow us through."

"You have Hyperspace Engines?" Carter asked.

"Not exactly." Cordy said with a grin.

"Opening Jump Point in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1." Xander said from the Jump station.

A shiver ran through the White Star at the power output. The Jump Portal opened in a swirl of blue energy and the White Stars proceeded into the Portal.

"Holy shit." Was Jack's comment at seeing the Jump Portal.
