Over the next several days the girls and Macbeth explored every part of Crocus, as well as watching the games from time to time. Fairy Tail was climbing to the top. Elfman started it off with his win over Quattro Cerberus' Bacchus, then Erza really impressed everyone in the Pandemonium part of the competition, but what else would you expect from Titania. Gray and Lucy had perked up by this point. Unbeknownst to the dragon slayers, trouble was brewing behind the scenes. The Grand Magic games of X791 were coming to an end with Fairy Tail being victorious. The next thing the girls knew, dragons were flying round Crocus, real dragons.

"Get him out of here, now!" Nevaeh ordered for one of the girls to take Macbeth away from the area, to make sure he was safe. Somehow, the names of the dragons came into her mind as she saw them; Zirconis, Motherglare, Scissor Runner, Levia and Atlas Flame. Something was strange about Atlas Flame, he didn't recognise her at all. They split into teams; Nevaeh and Eureka would fight the dragons while the others would focus on helping civilians. Amongst the fighting Nevaeh caught the scent of an old friend, not far from them Cobra was also fighting. She ran over to him.

"Cobra!" She smiled. "What are you doing here?"

"They brought me here to fight for them, guess they thought with me being like you I should be able to defeat these things, but they're on a whole other level."

"Yeah, you think that's bad, but these are nothing compared to Acnologia. I don't know the details of how they came here but they're not from this time."

"It doesn't matter how they got here, right now we just gotta fight them." He fired his poison dragon roar behind her, taking out one of Motherglare's baby dragons. Up in the air Atlas Flame and Motherglare were mid-fight and there were two figures on top of them. It was Natsu and someone else. "By the way..." He started. "Why do you look so young...? You look just like you did when you came to us seven years ago."

"It's a long story, one I'll tell you all about once we've..." She kicked away one of the baby dragons. "... Dealt with this."

"You go help Eureka, I've got this." He pointed over to where Eureka was. "Go she needs your help."

"Cobra, if I don't see you..."

"Yeah I'll let him know you miss him and all that, and call me Erik." He interrupted. She rejoined Eureka. The two of them make a unison raid.

"Ice-Make..." Eureka prepares using her ice-make magic infused with dragon slayer magic.

"Fire-make..." Nevaeh adapted the maker technique and used her own element.

"Twin headed dragon!" They said in unison and a dragon, half ice and half fire, stood before them. They hopped onto its back and used it to fight the dragons. Suddenly Eureka lost her balance and from there it all seemed like slow motion to Nevaeh. Eureka began falling, Nevaeh turned round and ran after her, desperately trying to grab for Eureka's hand but to no avail.

"Nevaeh!!!!"

She fell, and as she fell, screaming, a dragon flew under her and swallowed her whole. Nevaeh was still as silent tears fell down her face. She then let out a loud and emotional scream of anguish. Something strange happened and they were both sat on the dragon's back, Nevaeh reached out for Eureka just as she was about to slip. It was like dejavu.

"How did you..?"

"It's like I saw it, I saw you fall and..." She couldn't say it. Tears were rolling down her cheeks and she had a lump in her throat.

"Hey I'm okay, thanks to you. This is the second time you've saved my life." Eureka wiped Nevaeh's tears away and they continued the fight. Some time after that Eclipse began to close and the dragons disappeared back to the past. They joined the others in aiding the wounded and civilians and then went to find the others. Everyone was looking worse for wear. Erik was being taken back to prison by the guards, despite his cooperation and aid in the recent events. Nevaeh noticed that one person wasn't around. Ultear. She then knew what had happened, why she had that strange vision of Eureka's death. Apparently she wasn't the only one who experienced it either.

"Ultear... Thank you." She mumbled to herself, trying not to cry.

The time for the ball came. Nevaeh really didn't feel like going.

"Mummy, look!" Macbeth burst into the room and she turned to look at him. He looked adorable in his little black suit.

"Aren't you a handsome young man? You remind me so much of your father, except we'd probably never get him in a suit." She smiled weakly, she was happy because her son was happy and looked cute all dressed up, but there was the painful fact that Midnight wasn't there. She couldn't decide whether to still call him Midnight or not as calling him by his real name may cause some confusion.

"You should come to the ball, everyone will be there." Eureka popped her head round the door.

"You know I don't feel like it..." She sighed and turned away.

"He'd want you to go and have a good time instead of moping around."

"I just miss him... I wish he could be here."

"I know, but you've got us, and Macbeth is really looking forward to it. He's never been able to socialise with everyone before, he's all dressed up too!" Her persuasive techniques weren't working too well on Nevaeh. After a moment of silence she continued. "You know, I think he's going to ask Asuka to dance." Nevaeh perked up.

"Well what kind of mother would I be if I missed my son's first dance?" With that she began to change and do her hair and makeup.

Everyone else was already there; even Gray was wearing a suit, sort of. It was more like half a suit. Everybody paused as Nevaeh entered. She was wearing a strapless black dress; it came just above the knees with a medium sized slit up the left side. She had black heels on, red lipstick and eyeliner with subtle pink eye shadow. Her hair was up in a ponytail with two long pieces coming down each side of her head; her fringe was swept to the left and she had small pearl earrings in. Of course she was still wearing the necklace Midnight gave her. There were strings of pearls in her ponytail too and a red rose was used to disguise the hair tie.

Eureka came over; she was wearing a tight fitting purple dress; two straps over her right shoulder, with a violet strip sitting below her chest area and it too was just above knee length. Her hair was slightly curled and tied mid way. She had it so that it was sitting over her left shoulder. She was wearing dark pink lipstick and dark eye shadow to give that smoky eyes effect.

"You finally made it! You look amazing." She smiled.

"You do too. Why is everyone staring?" She suddenly felt awkward but before she could back away Loke grabbed her. "L-Loke?!" before she knew it she was caught in a dance with him.

"My, you look beautiful, how's about we go on a date?" She then came to her senses and thought about kicking him in the face but remembered where she was so instead politely declined and walked over to the food. She noticed Sherria, Wendy and Mavis looking at the cake.

"It looks so yummy." Sherria said licking her lips.

"It's the cutest cake I've ever seen." Wendy did the same. Mavis muttered something to which Nevaeh was about to agree on but realised non Fairy Tail wizards can't see Mavis and she would look as though she was talking to herself. She decided to eat the cake for herself. Sting and Rogue approached only to apologise for the way they acted, Sting more so, and they complimented her and Eureka on their looks before rejoining their guild mates. Nevaeh managed to have a good chat with everybody from all the guilds.

"Mum?" Macbeth tapped her lightly. "Please may I have a dance with you? I'm sorry dad can't be here."

"Sometimes I can't believe how grown up you really are. No need to apologise, He'd probably find something like this tedious anyway. Let's dance." She smiled and took his hand as they danced. "A little birdy told me you were going to ask Asuka to dance?" She enquired.

"I will, but I want to spend time with my mum too. Plus I like to see you happy." He smiled.

"I like seeing you happy too. I promise we'll see your dad again but let's not worry about that. I'm so proud of you, you know?"

"I'm proud of you too mum; it's because of you that I'm strong." She leaned in to hug him. With their dance finished Macbeth then went to go ask Asuka to dance.

"Who knows, maybe one day those two will get married." Bisca said behind her, hands on Nevaeh's shoulders. Alzack was there with a plate of food and a whole chicken leg in his mouth.

"Yeah maybe. It's so cute isn't it?" They watched as their children danced around. The more they thought about it, those two would make a cute couple... in a few years. Everyone was in pairs now; Natsu and Lucy, Gray and Juvia, Elfman and Evergreen, Laxus and Mirajane, Bickslow and Lisanna, Levy and Gajeel, Sting and Yukino, Rogue and Kagura, Luna and Lector, Happy and Charla and even Loki and Aries. Scorpio and Aquarius appeared purely for that one dance. Sayo danced with Freed, Suzume with Rufus from Sabertooth, Hibiki and Jenny, Ren and Sherry obviously, Tsuki and Eve, Kasumi and Lyon, Erza and 'Mystogan', Cana and Bacchus and finally Wendy and Romeo. Nevaeh, Eureka, Moriko, Sayuri and Rin held hands and danced in a circle, the reason mostly was to try and avoid looking like loners. The truth was the people they would've danced with couldn't be there; Midnight, Racer, Richard, Wally and Sho. They enjoyed the rest of the evening nonetheless.
