"I'm surprised you never even noticed." She pulled out a book from nowhere and held it high for everyone to see. "This is the real book of E.N.D."

"That's... but how?" The demons looked on as Mard Geer fell to his knees in realisation that he had been protecting a fake book.

"An intruder walks straight into your base and you don't even realise, let alone takes your most prized possession." Silence followed for a moment until she began to speak again. "I guess you were too busy hurting my family to notice, how careless of you. You there!" She pointed to Tempester. "You're the one with the anti-magic particles, right? You severely hurt my friends, and the one who defeated you and risked his life for the town... that's my father." Tempester took a step back. "Now, you'll pay for what you did. Full body takeover: Satan Soul!" Black flames burst out of her body and wrapped round her. She was engulfed by these black flames and when they dissipated they all saw what she had become. The earth beneath her had cracked, full claws replaced her hands, her hair had turned black and long horns had appeared on her head. She had wings too; red and dragon like these wings stretched out far and had noticeable tears in them and all along the edges were torn. Her clothes had changed too; she was wearing a black bra which had the Tartaros Guild mark in gold on each breast and black shorts with a red belt and she also had long punk style black laced boots and a black torn coat which had red striped running down either side. Black patterns ran over her skin.

"Master..." Mard just sat there, unable to move, the others were the same. Then something happened.

"Agh..." She held onto her head as her body curled as if she was in pain.

"What's happening?" Lucy cried out.

"She's fighting for control." Eureka explained. She was angry because she knew that she couldn't go help because the barrier was still in place. Just then more black flames came pouring out and Nevaeh let out a demonic scream. Something came out of her, it was E.N.D.

"No!" She was still in pain.

"I'm afraid so, little girl. You honestly thought you could control me? I only let you absorb my soul so I could take some of your strength. Now I have no use for you." The demon slashed her across the stomach and sent her hurtling towards her friends, but she hit the barrier. The barrier then faded. There was something in the scent of this demon that was familiar to most of the dragon slayers, except Nevaeh and Natsu.

"We have to fight!" Sayo started for E.N.D.

"Now's our chance, everyone let's go!" Eureka took charge of the dragon slayers and lead them into a fight with E.N.D, however he didn't want to waste his time with them and ordered the nine demons to fight on his behalf. Nevaeh wasn't getting up. The rest of Fairy Tail went into battle too and Jellal and Meredy joined them. Midnight jumped into battle too, he was fighting for Nevaeh, and the rest of the Oracion Seis members followed him. The battle went on for a while. It was suddenly halted by the sound of Nevaeh crying.

"Stop it. Please stop!" She called out. "This is my fight." Without question, her comrades backed up to let her through.

"Nevaeh..." Erik heard her thoughts.

"Not yet, Erik..." Tears we running down her cheeks. "E.N.D!" She lunged towards him but he was too strong and he kicked her back. "Do you know why you are all so desperate to see your creator, Zeref?"

"Because he's the one who made us, of course." He replied.

"No! It's because of your reason for being. The reason he made you, all of you, was for you to one day kill him."

"You lie!" He hissed.

"It's true." He ignored her and went in for another attack. "Fire dragon wing attack!" They both went crashing to the ground. "Whether you believe me or not, it's the truth, he created you and all of his demons to kill him." Their fight went on. E.N.D turned to her friends.

"If you don't back down and surrender, I'll kill all of them!"

"Like Hell you will! I won't ever let that happen!" Saying that she punched him with her fire dragon claw attack.

"What about... Your son?" From behind him Seilah had grabbed hold of Macbeth, thus the tables were turned.

"No, let him go!."

"Will you give your life for them?" He wrapped his claw round her neck and held her up.

"No."

"What?" His expression fell.

"I would never do something so selfish. If I gave my life, then they would be left behind and they would have to live in sorrow and guilt, I couldn't do that to them. I'll beat you."

"It's useless, you're not strong enough!"

"That's where you're wrong. You can fight me all you want but you'll never win."

"Oh, yeah? And why is that then?" He sent her flying backwards.

"Because, magic comes from the heart, it's what fuels me to keep going, to keep fighting no matter what. You can tear my body to pieces but I'll still get up and fight, because the love for my friends gives me strength." She head butted him and a full one to one fist fight began. "You don't have that power, your curses are empty!" She knocked him down and then stood over him. She was prepared to deliver a final blow but she stopped.

"W-why did you stop? Why don't you just destroy me?" He asked weakly.

"Because I can't. It's not what I do. Plus you could be the key to defeating Acnologia and Zeref.

"You're going to regret this. I would never side with you pitiful humans."

"You would if Zeref ordered you to."

"And why would my master do that?" E.N.D was baffled by her words.

"Because Acnologia is his enemy too, one for some reason even he can't defeat. He created the Etherios with the intent that you would one day kill him, too."

"Speaking of Acnologia..." E.N.D smiled.

"Well in that case... it's time for round three, and this will be the last time." She stood up and announced that they would have to fight Acnologia. This time Erik really wanted to fight. As the black body of the dragon came into view, Jackal came over to Nevaeh. His demeaner was different from earlier. They talked quietly so no one could hear, the dragon slayers were distracted by the approach of the black dragon.

"Zeref didn't create me... You did, I remember now."

"Yes, but now isn't the time to discuss that." She frowned.

"Here." He put bombs all over her body for her to absorb.

"Thank you, Jackal." She moved forward. "Are you ready?"

"Ready." And with that they prepared to fight. However, all the first and third generation dragon slayers fell to the ground, shaking. Their bodies glowing.

In the distance, the roar of a familiar dragon echoed. Acnologia was now in sight, then a ball of flames tackled him to the ground.

"I recognise that smell!" Natsu ran towards where the black dragon had been taken down.

"Natsu, wait! It's dangerous!" Nevaeh began after him. Tartaros stood still. The rest of the guild followed.

"Dad!" Natsu shouted, as the dragon rose up from the ground.

"Uncle Igneel!" Nevaeh jumper for joy.

"But how? Where were you!"

"There will be time for that soon. For now, I need you to bring the book of E.N.D to me. You have it there in your hand, Nevaeh." Igneel pointed time the book of E.N.D.

"He's already escaped from me." Nevaeh looked at the empty book.

"What do you mean?"

"I tried to use Satan soul takeover to use his power to defeat Acnologia."

"A good plan in theory, E.N.D is the only being that Acnologia fears. However, you've underestimated E.N.D. He won't succumb so easily."

"I know... Igneel, when this is all over, we're going to spar!" Nevaeh ran back to Tartaros. She didn't realise she had dropped the book, and Natsu had now picked it up.

"E.N.D!" She shouted across the battlefield.

"Welcome back, Princess. What's your plan now?"

" we can either fight, or I can tell you something that will make you go back into the book."

"You have me intrigued. What could you possibly tell me that would make me even consider going back in there now?"

"Come closer and I'll tell you." She winked at him.

"I don't think so, I'd rather fight!" He lunged for her and struck her with his claws. She went flying back and a huge cut was left on her side. She was bleeding heavily. But this was nothing to her. She attacked back with some water magic, but E.N.D didn't seem to feel much. Both fights raged on for what felt like hours.

"There's something you don't know about yourself. Where you came from."

"I was created by Zeref with the purpose of killing him."

"That's only partly true. You have another purpose. The reason why both me and Igneel haven't destroyed you yet."

"You really think you could ever defeat me?"

"Oh, I know I can. I've done it before."

"Impossible!"

"How do you think you were in the book all this time?"

"If that's true, then why didn't you just destroy the book when you had the chance?"

"Because..." her mouth made the words but only Tartaros could hear them.

"How do I know this is true?"

"I told you, it's not that me and Igneel couldn't physically destroy you, we are very capable of doing so. I can unlock your memories if you wish."

"I don't believe you." He snarled.

"Think about it, why are parts of you just black shadows. You're not whole right now, E.N.D."

"You're lying." There was an obvious tingle of fear in his voice.

"Here. It's proof." She held out her hand and a light hit his head. His empty red eyes of fire widened.

"So it is true..."

"Yes. That is your true purpose, as well as killing your creator." She relaxed herself. Something in her sensed this battle was over.

"What will you do?"

"What do you mean?"

"Once I'm back in the book, what will you do?"

"I've not really thought that far ahead. Probably nothing. I actually have no intention of destroying any of you. But now you see why this plan of wiping out magic has to stop."

"Wouldn't it be a means to an end, for both Zeref and Acnologia?"

"Yes but the other consequences of such a weapon would be on a magnitude unfathomable. You're talking about permanently erasing magic from the entire continent. There's other ways."

"Then promise me this one thing."

"Yeah?"

"You'll use it as a last resort."

"Last resort?"

"Acnologia is hell-bent on destroying the world. All of the dragons, then all of the humans and even Zeref. He won't rest until it's all gone." The tone in his voice was serious. "Your initial plan is to beat Acnologia in battle, correct?"

"Yeah, then failing that, I was planning to use you."

"Then you've not thought this through properly. What I'm telling you is this; after all other methods have failed, and there's no other option, as an absolute last resort, use the Face, and then awaken me, I can then use my curse power to defeat him for good."

"I see, yes that does make sense. Okay, I'll agree to that, as an absolute last resort. When humanity is on the brink of extinction."

"Then, I hope for your sake, and for my master, and the rest of me, that this is the last time we meet." With that he went into the book. A cry of anger and mourning rang in her ears. She knew the voice, and she sprinted towards him instinctively.

"Igneeeeeeeel!!!!!" Natsu cries out, tears falling fast. When she arrived, there lay the king of the fire dragons, an arm torn off. Off Acnologia flew, his left arm also missing. Nevaeh felt the tears swell, then fall like acid down her cheeks. She fell to her knees.

Natsu stayed by his dying fathers side. They talked about how they were meant to catch up. Nevaeh silently vowed to get revenge for Igneel. As did Natsu. They were all left in the rubble of Tartaros, the body of a dragon and a guild of demons and the newly formed magic council approaching.
