I don't know what is worse for me, right now. Knowing that I can't save Robin or knowing that she knows I'm weak. I'm glad that Robin and Usopp came into the car. A huge breath of relief that I know they are safe. Yet, it turn to hell once she threw Usopp in the middle of the car. What is she doing? This is our chance! I didn't have a plan to get her out of here. Yet, someone else surprises me with their plan.
"Franky, cut car three loose!" Usopp shouts at Franky.
"What for?!" Franky asks in confusion. For a glimpse, it looks like Usopp is smirking underneath his mask.
"We're running away," he said. Sanji went on the defense.
"Running away?" Sanji said in disbelief. Blueno and Kaku cracks their knuckles, getting ready to stop us.
"Don't let Franky leave," Kaku speaks to Bueno, staring at Franky. All I see is Usopp grabbing something from his pocket and throwing it on the ground.
"Sniper King Smokescreen Star," Usopp yells out. I jump up and grab Sanji's shirt, pulling him towards the exit. The smoke fills the car in a matter of seconds. I hear them coughing, trying to figure out what just happen. Franky, Sanji, and I are standing in car three when I see Usopp coming out of the smokescreen with Robin on his shoulders.
"Robin is ours," he said, celebrating his small victory. Franky and Sanji break out in cheers. I smile, I'm glad she is back. Franky, using his right hand, cuts our ties to the other car. I thought that we did it.
"That surprise me! Launching to an escape plan like that," Franky tells Usopp. I laugh.
"It is so stupid, but it actually works," I laugh about it. I sit down on the floor, drain from the experience. Robin is still recovering from getting a lot of smoke in her lungs.
"We manage to achieve our goal….without fighting those people. That's the important thing," Sanji said, looking at the other car. Slowly we start to move away from them.
"Yeah, don't let your guard until the cars are further away from each other. These are not some small-time thugs," Franky comments on. Something attaches itself to our car, some long black rope with thorns.
"A thorn whip?!" I shout in shock. What can't they do! Then they pull our car back there, making us back to square one.
"T-they pulled us back…" I said in shock, after landing on my back. Pain shoots through my back. I hiss in pain. Sanji struggles to stand, looking at the other car.
"What power…" he mumbles. I raise my head in time to see that Blueno guy holding onto both of our cars together. I grind my teeth together, struggling to keep calm. It's frustrating that I can't do anything right.
"A smokescreen. That was a boring little trick," Brueno said, holding on.
"Yeah, I was afraid that wouldn't do the job," Sanji states, ready himself to launch an attack. I get on to my knees, seeing that Franky is next to me. I can see that Robin and Usopp is behind me, away from those lunatics.
"Sniper King! Protect Robin with your life!" Sanji yells, going forward. Lucci steps forward, eyeing us.
"Don't kill any of the Straw Hats, that was our deal," Lucci said, as I slowly get to my feet. What does he mean by that? What deal? My back still tender from landing on it.
"Sorry to do this after you went to the trouble of pulling us back but I'm gonna have you release us," Sanji said, launching a kick. It lands but it has no effect on this guy. Then I hear a commotion behind me.
"Robin! We can do this," Usopp said, pulling her away from the fight. I see Robin fighting against him. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Why? WHY!
"I told you before. Leave me alone. I'm not going back!" she yells at him.I couldn't take it anymore.
"Why not!" I yell, gaining her attention. She looks at him, Usopp letting her go once she stop fighting against us. Tears of frustration fall down my face.
"Why can't you just let us help you? Aren't we Nakama?!" I shout at her. She looks at me and turns her back at me. I hear her say something before eight arms appear on my body. I gasp.
"Ro-" I'm cut off by these arms. They force my body into a weird position, kneeling on the floor. She is trying to force me to arch my back to the most unnatural way to knock me out. Slowly, the arms are arching my back, forcing me to watch the Sanji and Franky fighting the rest of them.
Even though I hadn't been stretching like before, I knew my limits are coming. I look around, trying to concentrate, but my eyes stop on someone. Why is that asshole smirking at? I can feel my face turning red. I continue to stare at him, watching me. Why? Any moment she's going to crack me.
Cra-CRACK
Time stops for me. When my bones crack, my muscles tense up at first, then they start to relax. My eyes slowly rollback. I couldn't stop it. Even though, I couldn't move a finger, but it seems…..so good! I feel numbness. My body drops to the floor without Robin's arms. I hear a lot of commotion, wood breaking, and yelling. I close my eyes, getting a grip on my body. I turn my body on my stomach, opening my eyes. I see Franky on the other cart, by destroying our cart door, taking it with him.
'Damn it' I thought, struggling to get my muscles to work. I didn't want to save Robin and leave anyone behind.
"Franky," Usopp said, weakly. He stands up, his legs are shaking.
"What are you doing! I won't run away with you!" she yells. Sanji turns to her, his nose bleeding.
"Hold on, Robin! What's wrong now? We knew everything about the situation when we came to save you! If we figure out a way to deal with the government's buster call threat...you don't have a reason to follow them, do you?!" Sanji said, reasoning with her. I get on my knees, my arms shaking holding myself up. I see something appear behind Sanji. I open my mouth to say something but my tongue is numb. I couldn't say anything right. Suddenly, that bull guy appears again.
"It's the buster call, that's the problem," Blueno said, opening a portal. I get up only to stumble to my knees again. I look up to see Sanji getting hit, making him fly away from Robin. Blueno goes for Robin, but Usopp attacks him with his weapon.
"Usopp!" I scream as he gets hit by Blueno. I can see blood on Blueno's finger. Oh god, they are powerful. I shake my head, trying to get rid of that thought.
"Stop it! I don't intend to run away. That should be enough for you!" Robin shouts at him. Blueno's face is stoic, and blank.
"They're the ones who keep attacking me. I have no choice," he said, plainly. Robin turns away from us, walking towards his door.
"Then let's get away from here quickly." Robin states. Yet, Usopp calls out for her, before I did.
"Wait!" Usopp said, getting up again. He coughs up blood.
"It's alright...You're still hiding something, aren't you? But pirates can't leave the crew without the captain's permission!... So, Robin..have faith in Luffy!" Usopp said. Finally, get to my feet, and walk to Sanji, trying to help him. It seems that Blueno didn't like this transgression and kicks Usopp to our feet.
"Usopp!" I shout. I look at Robin, and she walks inside the door.
"No! Robin please come back!" I scream at her. I step forward, and Blueno steps in front of his door. I gulp, and stop.
"It's no use. Nico Robin will not break our agreement," he states. I stand strong in front of my friends.
"How can you be sure?" I asked him.
"A long time ago, there was an incident….the navy initiated a buster call...and a certain island burned to ash-destroyed so that not a trace remained. The only survivor from that incident is a young survivor, Nico Robin," he states and my jaw drops. What in the blazing hell is this navy? How can they destroy an island like that? I'm starting to think that maybe pirates are the good guys. I mean at least we are.
"..what?" Sanji harshly whispers.
"Basically, for her the buster call is a nightmare she can not fully erase. That terrifying memory is embedded in her when she was a child and now it threatens her comrades. She has NO will to oppose us," Blueno emphasizes the no. I couldn't believe it. Robin isn't abandoning us, she was trying to save us from the buster call. I drop to my knees. Tears running down my face.
"And you knew that that….right?" Sanji asks him, standing up. Blueno stands inside his portal door and nods.
"Of course we did," he states with no emotion. Sanji growls.
"Is there no limit to your depravity?" Sanji shouts angrily.
"Is all in the name of justice," Blueno said, slowing closing his portal. My eyes widen. NO! Robin is on the other side. Yet, my body is refusing to cooperate with me.
"Don't give me that," Sanji runs forward. Blueno disappears, leaving Sanji kicking the air. Does this mean we lose? Did we lose Robin forever?
"This can't be happening," I whisper to myself. This can't be the end. I don't want it to end like this. We need to go get her. I'll try harder to fight back. I won't hesitate anymore. Please God, if you're out there...give me one more chance to save Robin.
Everything I do, doesn't change anything so why bother? I can't do anything. Somehow I always mess things up or I'm not there to help out for anything. I didn't help at all with all the enemies we have faced so far. Those pirates that attack the restaurant, Arlong, Smoker, Crocodile, and the fact that I disappear on Sky Island takes the cake. Why can't I do anything right?! WHY AM I SO WEAK!
I stood up, shivering from the cold. Usopp and Sanji are beating themselves for not doing much I assume. I walk over there and knock some sense into them.
"Ouch!" they both yelp, rubbing their head. I put my hands on my hips.
"Stop crying like babies. You think Luffy would be wallowing in his sorrow. NO! He would have that crazy grin of his and keep fighting," I shout, with all my might. I need them to hype up and not lose hope. I need to do something useful.
"Now let's go outside. If Luffy has a train coming, I want to make sure I don't get in the way," I said. Sanji and Usopp nods, standing tall again.
"Angelina is right. We can't stop here," Sanji agrees with me. I smile. Now we are getting somewhere. The waves crash against the cars, making it sway a bit. Maybe we should head outside to see when they are coming. We went to the end of the cart, through the kitchen and see it is a mess. I didn't say anything, thinking about a plan to get Robin back. God, I wish I had a map of the place or something. We stand outside, trying to see a train coming this way. What we didn't expect is two king-size bulls, pulling a ship coming towards us.
"Is that Franky's family?!" Usopp shouts, shivering in fear. He inched his way behind Sanji for protection. I frown a bit.
"Didn't Nami said that they were with the Franky's gang. If they are here, where the hell is our crew?" I ask out loud. Sanji shrugs, not knowing. They pull right up.
"Ah it's that guy from before!" someone yells. I look at Sanji, trying to figure out how he knew them. I didn't get any details about this.
"OI! Where's Luffy?" Sanji asks. Someone throws us a rope ladder.
"We trying to catch up with them now. Hurry up!" A man yells at us. There are so many men in this gang. I hoping that they have a change of clothes. I'm wet from the rain, or is it sweat? Sanji helps me over the railing and we are lead inside, where it's warm.
"Thank god we found you guys. We were separated from the others, but we know where they are going. Enies Lobby, the Nightless Island. What happened on the train? Is Franky okay?," a man with a pointy beard asks us. I notice that I'm dripping water all over the floor.
"Excuse me. Before we start talking, do you guys have anything I can change," I question them. By looking around, I know I have a slim chance of finding women's clothing. The guy nods, turns around to call out someone.
"HEY TAMAGON! Take this lady to Mozu and Kiwi's room. You can borrow some of their clothing," this man yells. This guy with a bowl cut and goggles comes forward.
"Okay Kiev. This way, milady," he said, nicely. A shiver went down my spine as he said milady. The hell? He reminds me of those guys wearing fedoras, talking medieval shit, and cry about being the nice guy. I smile nervously as I let him walk in front of me. Finally, we reach their room. I let myself in and lock the doors, take a deep breath before looking around the room.
It is very colorful, with various furniture. There is only one closet that I can see. I open it to see not a lot of options that I can't use. How many bikini tops and shorts can someone have? I stay away from bright colors for now. I pick out a green tank top with a dark navy capris. I take off the fanny pack, setting it on the bed. I take off my clothes except for my underwear. I try on the tank top and it fits tight. It will have to do.
I try to squeeze in the capris, but my thigh is too big. I try every capris, but all of them are too small. I dread to try on those shorts. I try one on and it fits like a snug pig in a blanket. Welp, guess I'm seducing all the men on that island with this ass.
"It has to do," I whisper, sitting on the bed. I put on my boots, slipping what little money I have inside it. I turn to see the fanny pack, curiosity got it. I open the pack to see, notes. As I read them, I see these notes are new weapons for the navy, guns in particular. The next page shocks a name of an island that all these weapons are going to, Dressora and someone of interest, Joker.
"Weird," I mumble, putting it back. I strap the fanny pack on, almost as a belt. 'Viktor, I have no idea what's going on, but you owe me big time' I thought to myself. I grab my fighting gloves, stand up, and unlock the door. Tamagon is waiting for me, leading me back to the main room. For some reason, I am getting more stares from the guys. It's like they never a woman before.
"Ah Ang-" Sanji said, not finishing his sentence. I can see hearts form ign in his eyes. Before he could say anything, a man announces that he can see Enies Lobby.
"Its Enies Lobby!" he screams. Everyone runs outside, seeing this island. It is massive and probably full of marines and government agents.
"HEYYYYY!" a familiar voice yells at us. I look behind us and see this weird train, coming at us. I see Luffy, with his bright red vest, sitting on it. I break out on a full grin, starting to wave my arms back and forth.
"Luffy!~" I yell, happy to see them. Sanji and Usopp joins me, waving at them. I try my best to not cry, but a few tears escape. I am so happy to see my captain again.
"Oh Sanji! Angel! HEY!" Luffy yells at us. I can't wait to rejoin my crew. The gang pulls up, so we can plan on how to save Robin. Immediately, I'm tackle by Luffy and Chopper.
"Angel!" they yell, crying at the same time. I hug them really tight, calling out their names. I tell them that I miss them, and promise them I would never leave them.
"Oi Angel, what is with you and disappearing? You can't do that anymore," Luffy said, hugging me tighter. I nod my head, agreeing with him. I can see he is trying to hold back crying. Chopper doesn't hold back, transforming to his bigger self, crying along the way.
"Angel~," Chopper said, hugging us both. This hugging session lasts about three minutes with us crying and pouring out our feelings. Until, I feel ill intent. I look around to see Nami standing there, with some pipe in her hands. Chopper and Luffy let me go. I made a huge mistake. I am not ready to rejoin my crew just yet. I'm sitting down, kneeling in front of a piss of Nami. I look down at the floor, counting the cracks in it. Neither of us said anything.
I thought for sure I was going to get a lecture from her, but she hugs me, falling down to the floor. Name cries silently at first, until she starts to yell at me.
"YOU IDIOT! How how dare you?! I THOUGHT I LOST YOU! I THOUGHT...I thought you died," she tries to say with her crying. I hug her back, guilty that I cause this pain.
"I'm sorry! I just wanted to protect you! I'M SO SORRY, NAMI!" I said with her. They let us have our moment, and there was not a dry eye in the room, except for Zoro. I see him, leaning against the wall. I point at him.
"Y-You're next, Zoro. I want a proper welcome back, you asshole," I said, wiping my eyes. Still, I'm hugging Nami when I notice something. I turn around, my mouth open.
"LULU! TILESTONE! Oh god, what are you doing here?" I ask them. They are as shock as me. I remember that I didn't tell them or anyone in Water 7 that I'm a pirate. Whoops!
Everything after that became a blur. I'm swept into the flow of things, getting information about the island and telling everyone how the world government is manipulating Robin. It really motivates us to get in there and start taking names. I just notice that Luffy isn't here.
" Where is Luffy?" I ask, knowing in my gut he probably went ahead of us. Nami looks at me, and then to the space, Luffy was before.
"He was right there a second ago…" She said. I hear some shouting from outside, confirming my thoughts of him going ahead of us. I giggle, knowing nothing changes.
"What is he doing?! He didn't consult any of us?!" Paulie shouts out. I shake my head, already use to the antics of my captain.
"Doesn't he have a strategy?!" Zambia from the Franky Clan yells. Choppers says nothing. Nami sighs.
"It was pointless, to be honest," she said with all honestly.
"It's Luffy, expect the worst," I said, while the others chime in their opinions. Just wait Robin, we are going to rescue you. I clench my hands, no matter who gets in the way.
Monkey D. Luffy, a guy who wants to be King of the Pirates, undeterred by the odds is going against the World Government to save Robin. As for the rest of his crew, we follow in his footsteps, ready to have his back.
A lot of things happen when I was gone. Everyone came to Water 7 to get Go Merry fix, but was told bad news instead. Furious with Luffy's decision to get a new ship, Usopp, thatidiot, leaves the crew. At the same time, Robin was linked on an attempted assassination on the mayor, Iceberg, then was hauled to Enies Lobby.
I clench my fist, promising myself to be useful this time. After so many adventures, I have contributed to nothing. I was either nowhere to be found or sick and powerless to do anything. This time I am going to wreak havoc throughout this island.
I stop pacing around the room, it's been a couple of minutes. I look outside, sticking my head out and the gates aren't open yet. They have a simple job, open the bloody gates.
"Those gates should have open," Kokoro tells us. My gut tells me it's now or never. I pull my head in.
"We need to go for plan B," I simply said to her. She laughs, and brings out a radio.
"Oi, Samurai man, Take care of the iron fence!" She said in a loud voice, before trilling off in laughter. This is going to be a bumpy turn the train around, heading straight for the island.
Everything is going to be fine. I keep telling myself this over and over we get closer to our destination, I'm getting nervous by the second.
"Everyone, change of plans! Zoro wants everyone to hold on tight!" Kokoro said, drinking more wine. I internally groan, knowing she is drunk as hell. I take my place on the other side of the room, the kid and the bunny/cat holding on to me. I hold to dear life on the small railings. Sanji gets up.
"Hey, stupid swordsman! Did something happen?" he asks, looking on the outside. His eyes widen.
"The main gate is closed," Sanji the speed of the train, and by having the gate be a ramp instead, we are going to fly and land in the courtyard. I have no idea what the landing is going to be, but we can survive this. I can feel the train go through the air.
'One'
We are still in the air. Everyone is screaming for their life and in the face of death, Sanji stills tries to flirt with Nami.
'Two'
I know we are reaching the peak, and knowing that gravity it's taking its course. It is forcing the entire train to go down, just like going on a rollercoaster, but of death.
'Three'
We start on our descent, suddenly, hitting something on our way down. My body is pushed forward, hitting the wall with my face. Then we start to rumble to a stop, moving left and right violently. I curl around the kid and her pet, protecting them. After we stop for a while, I release my hold on the kid and the pet.
"Thanks, lady," She said, her pet meowing me. I sweatdrop. I get out of this train wreck. Once I'm out, I see that Sanji and Zoro already beat some of the marines here. Moving away from the train, I secretly hope not to fight with anyone.
"Look! More of them are coming out of the train!" a government agent yells. Everyone starts to point their guns, bazooka, and anything that has gunpowder at the train.
"There must be more in there! Blow 'em away before they get out!" he said. I ran out of the way, as they start to shoot. I jump over a small wall, covering myself. I feel small stones rain on me as they continue to unload all their bullets.
"Stop Firing!" a marines, stopping the group. Some of his peers look confused, not understanding why.
"Look!" he said, pointing at the train. I peek around the wall to see the kid, bunny cat, and Kokoro, waving at them.
"We're fragile! The Strawhats threaten us and made us operate the train…." Kokoro said, hiccuping at the end. She is really drunk at this point by the gods. Then I see a dark cloud over the marines, I follow smaller clouds coming from Nami, holding the weapon Usopp gave her. She did explain that it's mostly out of dials from Sky Island, then she had this frown looking at me. Yep, she is never going to let me forget that.
"Just what I'd expect from the perfected climate baton. Its speed and size are different than before. Now let's do this! Lightning Power: Thunderbolt Tempo!" Nami yells, sending one more cloud up. It seems normal until it turns dark. My hair on my arm stand up, covering in goosebumps. Everything appears slowed down, hearing the crackle of electricity. My knees shaking, struggling to breathe. In my mind, I was taken back to Sky Island. I could see him clearly, standing before me. Those cold eyes staring at me as if I was a mere bug. I slide down the wall, holding myself.
"Angel!"
He is going to attack me, I see his hand going up, ready to call on his power again. I have nowhere to go, nothing to defend myself. I'm going to die again.
"Angelina! WAIT!"
I need to run. I need to run away, escape the lightning. I need to proct-
"Angelina, Stop!" someone yells, grabbing me by the shoulder. I stop, breathing heavily. I looking around, trying to remember what just happen and where am I. This is not Water 7.
"No, no, no, no. Look at me, That's right. Breathe with me. In...Out….In…..Out," the man tells me. I do what he says, slowing down my breathing. I close my eyes, as I remember now where I am. I am at Enies Lobby, rescuing Robin. This man is Viktor, a slimy guy that I don't want him to touch me. I slap his hands away from, my hands still shaking.
"Tch. Glad you're back," Viktor said, stepping away. I don't know where I am, damn it.
"Where am I, Viktor?" I ask him, calming myself. I can feel the cold sweat on my back. Do I have some panic attacks just now? Was it because I almost died from lightning? I fucking bet.
"You are far away from your crew. This is not according to plan," he said, combing his hair with his hands. I look at how frustrated he is and smile.
"Well, guess you have to help me, not only save Robin but to get out of here. So, how about it, Viktor?" I said, grinning at him. He looks at me with disgust. I swear I saw a vein popped.
"...You are so lucky, I need those god damn documents. I really don't need HQ to sick their fucking dogs on me," Viktor said. I can see in his eyes that he is formulating his plan.
"Can you parkour?" he asks as if he is asking what time is it. I tilt my head in confusion.
"The hell is that?" I said, trying to remember such things. I hear a lot of guys talking about it. I think it's like a new trend going on.
"Just follow and do what I do. No matter what don't look down," he said, tightening his gloves. I pull out my own and get ready to run, I hope. He starts to jog, weaving through the buildings and alleyways, staying parallel to the fight. I follow behind, getting ready for anything. Then we start to run along a wall with crates.
"Stay with me!" he shouts, as he starts to use the crates to go up and forward. Oh god! He is doing some parkour stuff that I see from time to time in the park. I speed up, climbing the crates until we reach the roof.
Now we start to run on top of the roofs with every jump I need to do, I look ahead of me and follow Viktor. I see those two king-size Bulls charging through ahead of us.
"Angel! Get ready to jump" Viktor yells, looking over his shoulder. I look ahead to see that the building he wants to go is taller than this one. The hell does he want me to do about that? Then I see him jump and in mid-air, do a double jump. I stop myself at the edge, my jaw drops. HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT?
