~Snowcrystal of Thunderclan~

Blegh, bite me! XP It was just one day late :P

I'll upload more of the little things I write, kinda like this piece which is short but beautiful :D

~HHQFandoms~

I'm such a bad author! I can't remember what the pairing is! T-T

Lately I've been developing wilds, and I've decided on giving Dormant Wilds dreams of their mate's past before they actually become mates and partners, so I decided to upload one I wrote. I never really go into depth with Bree's past as a wild in WHSS like why she's in the boarding school, why her parents are split up, and why she stays at the boarding school most of her holidays, so I wanted to upload this still snippet. Please enjoy

Glimpse into the Past

Jay (Outside of Dream) ~ 12

Bree (In the dream) ~ 5

The shouting was loud, piercing Jay's sensitive ears and making him whimper in fear. Around him was also dark, with only a few boxes and shoes in the cramped space, illuminated by the small crack going vertically through the center of the box he was in. He clutched the animal in his arms tighter and squeezed his eyes shut, hoping for once that they'd stop arguing.

'I'm sorry, I'm sorry,' he squeaked mentally, body trembling. The shouting hurt his ears, he wanted it to finally end… but he knew it wouldn't. The shouting wouldn't stop till his father stopped defending her and instead took his mother's side.

Jay pressed the heels of the palms of his small hands to his eyes, stifling his tears and forcing them away. 'I won't cry, I promised I wouldn't cry this time, I promised Daddy I wouldn't cry… but it hurts… and I'm scared…'

For a few minutes he sat there in the dark, trembling and wishing he could disappear, but then he heard something, a familiar voice.

"Sis? Bri? Where did you go?

"We're not playing hide and seek anymore!"

Jay lifted his head and moved his hands from his face, staring out at the tiny crack of the closet and at the legs of two other kids, both older than him. After hesitating for only a second he got to his small feet and pushed hard against the closet door, "I'm in here!" His voice was higher pitched and shaking, like a young girl's about five or six years old. "Brittany I'm in here! Mommy pushed me inside and I can't get out!"

"What?! Come on Ben!" After a few moments of the two kids straining hard, Jay was blinded with light. After he blinked the fuzziness out of his eyes he threw himself at one of the other kids, the oldest looking one, a girl with light brown hair and hazel colored eyes.

"Mommy has Lion!" Jay cried with his face buried in the girl's chest. "And she pulled on my ear! What did I do wrong?"

"You didn't do anything wrong," Brittany tried to reassure her, but her voice was shaking with frustration toward her parent, "you've done nothing wrong, I don't know why she doesn't like you. You're smarter than both me and Ben put together."

"And I have this," the boy standing next to Brittany, who looked to be about six-years-old, pulled a digital watch from his pocket, "mom put it in the trash but I dug it out and washed it."

Jay took the watch from his brother, staring at it in excitement and slight fear. "L-Lion? Are you there?"

Before Jay could catch a glimpse of his face the watch flickered to life and a robotic voice replied.

"I'm here Breanna, I wish I could help you."

"You do help me, you're my best friend!"

"Best friend?... I'll do my best Breanna."

Jay opened his eyes to the blurry ceiling on his bedroom, his mind spinning. Breanna? Who is she? And why am I dreaming about her?

I just realized that my next chapter is 150… O-o Oh dear XD

I'm thinking Wilds Special with the new editions, changes, and modifications I've made to the wilds, what do you guys think? A series of small wilds snippets or… A Boring Office Work Rewrite? That one will take a lot longer, but I've been meaning to write it for a long time, I just need a really good reason to write it :D
