The peace of Tokyo was broken as all the screens started blaring static. A few seconds later, a strange man appeared on the screens. "Greetings Earthlings, I am X of the Xilians. We have destroyed many planets, and yours is next. So run if you like, it wouldn't save you," he said with a cruel smirk as the armored form of Monster X landed. His red eyes lit up and he fired his Gravitational Beams at the surrounding buildings, sending fire into the air. Monster X grinned with sick glee as he watched the humans run. All but one human. As a matter of fact, this human was walking toward him.
Monster X growled as the human stopped. He would have blasted it, but something felt off about it. He got down on one knee to get a better look. He let out a sharp growl, trying to scare it. The human just stood there before reaching into his jacket and pulling out a strange device that he raised to the air. The end lit up and a "rope" of energy wrapped around him. A bright flash of light forced Monster X to cover his eyes. After a few seconds, Monster X uncovered his eyes to see the Warrior from M78, Ultraman standing in front of him. Monster X stood up calmly, awaiting orders.
Up in space, X observed this new development. "So the Ultras are here? Well then, Monster X, kill him!" he ordered the trump card of his race.
Monster X howled and charged at Ultraman, who braced for the battle. The alien threw a punch that was blocked by Ultraman, who swung a kick. Monster X blocked that attack and aimed a claw swipe at Ultraman's head. The red-and-silver being grabbed his arm and judo threw him to the ground. Monster X climbed to his feet and ran at Ultraman and locked hands with him, the two pushing at each other as hard as they could. Both tried to knee each other in the gut, only for them to smash their knees together.
The two grunted in pain before Ultraman twisted, throwing Monster X to the ground. He wasted no time chopping and punching the alien. Monster X knocked him away and climbed back to his clawed feet. His red eyes glowed yellow and he fired his Gravitational Beams. Ultraman quickly traced the shape of a rectangle, forming his shield which blocked the beams with ease. He dropped the shield and fired a few Slash Rays, chipping away at Monster X's chest armor. The Xilian weapon ran forward and slammed both fists into Ultraman's chest, staggering him.
Ultraman recovered and spun around and smashing his elbow into Monster X's jaw, staggering him. Monster X lifted a hand to his jaw, feeling a liquid run down his hand. He pulled it back to see blood, for a tooth had been knocked out. Monster X growled in approval, then got into a fighting stance, as did Ultraman. The two charged, Monster X aiming a kick at Ultraman's side, only for the warrior from M78 to knock it aside and punch the alien in the gut. Monster X grunted and leaped into the air, slapping the Ultra with his tail, dazing him. He let himself drop and smashed both fists into Ultraman's chest, knocking him back. Ultraman recovered and kicked the alien in the side and followed up with several chops to the head.
Monster X recovered and slashed his claws across Ultraman's face, causing him to yell and hold said body part, allowing Monster X to roundhouse kick him into several buildings. Ultraman rolled back to his feet and fired his Ultra-Attack Ray. Monster X's eyes glowed, and he unleashed his Gravitational Beams. The two attacks collided with a powerful explosion. The two charged again, Monster X attempting a flying kick. Ultraman twisted, allowing the attack to pass, then chopped the alien in the gut and punched Monster X in the left shoulder skull.
Up in space, X smirked as he watched the battle. "So Ultraman and Monster X are evenly matched?" he said before snapping his fingers. "Send in our second Monster X," he said, grinning.
Monster X responded by lifted both fists and attempting to slam them down on Ultraman's head. The Ultra crossed his arms over his head, grunting from the impact. Monster X forced his arms down, finding himself face-to-face with his foe. He grinned, at long last, he had found an opponent that was equal to his own skills. Ultraman kneed Monster X in the gut and shoved him back. He followed up by jumping and delivering a round-house kick of his own to Monster X's head, sending him rolling. Monster X rolled back to his feet and charged. The two traded punches and kicks, both evenly matched.
The red eyes of the alien glowed brightly as he charged up his Gravitational Beams. In response, Ultraman linked his hands together at the wrists. They fired their Gravitational and Specium Rays at the same time. The beams locked, the force of said beams shoved both fighters back until a large explosion filled the air. Ultraman winced as his Color Timer went off. Monster X growled and walked up to the Warrior from M78 and slapped him a couple of times and shook his shoulder. Ultraman nodded at the alien, understanding Monster X wanted to end this honorably.
Monster X took a few steps back and got into a fighting position. Ultraman did so as well, only to yell in pain and fall to the ground as an orange ray detonated on his back. Behind him, Jiger screeched happily at her cheap shot. Monster X roared in rage at this, knowing his master was responsible for sending Jiger. But before anything else could happen, a strange sound filled the air. It sounded like laughter.
RAHAHAHAHAHA!
Right after the laughter faded, a barrage of energy blasts rained down on the two of them. The two fell to the ground, writhing in pain as a new fighter descended in front of Ultraman and offered him a claw. The Warrior of Light took said claw and got up, nodding to the Space Ninja, Alien Baltan before taking off to charge up his energy. Alien Baltan turned to the two, who had recovered and looked at him. Monster X let out an interesting growl and made a "bring it" gesture at the alien. Jiger roared and charged, tearing through buildings.
Alien Baltan leaped over Jiger and curled up into a ball, heading toward Monster X. Once he neared, he uncurled and slammed both feet into Monster X's chest, knocking him flat on his back. Monster X groaned and held his chest, but stopped when he felt something. He propped himself up and looked at his chest. Sure enough, there was blood leaking out of his cracked chest armor. Monster X couldn't believe his luck, as there were TWO creatures that could match his skills. Climbing to his feet, he charged.
Up in space, X banged his fists against the armrests on his chair in fury. "That damn lobster," he screamed. Another Xilien spoke up. "Sir, I'm afraid that the planet's inhabitants are fighting back. Perhaps it would have been wise to study the planet first," he said. X reluctantly nodded. He was right.
Elsewhere in space, Ultraman hovered in place, regaining his energy. Suddenly, the air in front of shattered like glass, revealing a figure. "Yapool," Ultraman said in shock. "What are you doing here," he asked. "Do you know how the Xilians control their kaiju?" he asked. Ultraman shook his head. "They control the kaiju using M Base, which is either natural or genetically given. Now, what if my Super Beasts or even myself are controlled," he said. Ultraman nodded. "So you are suggesting a truce. How do I know your not making this up?" he asked, suspicious. Yapool chuckled. "If I was, you would be fighting King Crab or Lunaticks right now," he said. Ultraman nodded, he had a point. At that moment, Ultraman's Color Timer stopped blinking and turned blue. He looked at Yapool and nodded before flying down to Earth. Yapool turned away from the portal as it closed to address his Choju. "You have your orders, now go," he ordered with a sweep of his bladed arm. Time to show these amateurs what a real army looked like.
Jiger screeched and fired up her organic boosters, rocketing at Alien Baltan. Right before she hit him, the alien teleported away, letting her slam into Monster X, flooring the two of them. A whistling noise filled the air, and the three of them looked up to see Ultraman fly down and land next to Baltan. The two nodded at one another, faced their foes and charged, Alien Baltan fighting Monster X, and Ultraman grappling Jiger.
Monster X threw a punch, only for Baltan to swat his arm aside and jabbed him in the gut, then slammed his claw on his right shoulder skull, cracking it, crimson blood leaking out. Monster X grinned and slammed his head into Baltan's. The Space Ninja cried out and held his head, staggering back. Monster X slashed Alien Baltan across the chest, sparks flying. Baltan recovered and roundhouse kicked his foe to the ground. Alien Baltan followed up by jumping into the air, curling up and spinning before landing feet first on his chest, cracking more armor. Baltan did it again, breaking a rib. Monster X screamed in pain, but he grinned as he knocked Alien Baltan off. He had longed for a worthy opponent, and now he had two. He climbed to his feet and fired his Gravitational Beams, striking Alien Baltan with a giant explosion. The Xilian weapon stared into the smoke, trying to see if his foe was alive. Twin energy blasts shot out of the smoke, striking Monster X in the chest, sending pieces of his armor flying. Baltan walked out of the smoke, claws smoking. Right before the beams connected, Baltan shed his skin, letting it take the hit.
Jiger staggered back, screeching in pain from the punch. She took aim and fired her quills at Ultraman, who countered with Slash Rays, destroying them. Jiger screeched in rage and charged at the Ultra, smashing his legs out from under him and knocking him into a building. Ultraman climbed to his feet and faced Jiger, who had turned around and was charging at him again. Before she hit him, he disappeared. The orange kaiju looked about, wondering where her foe was, only to screech in surprise when she felt something land on her. Ultraman had teleported above her and now was wasting no time delivering chops and punches to her head. Jiger thrashed violently, trying to get him off. The Warrior from M78 yelled and grabbed ahold of her horn, trying to stay on. Jiger's tail curled around, a sharp stinger poking out of the tip. Ultraman yelled in pain when the stinger jabbed him in his right shoulder. It didn't break his skin, but it sure did hurt. It also distracted him long enough for Jiger to rear up, throwing him off. Ultraman rolled with the fall and got back to his feet and just managed to catch Jiger as she flew at him, shoving the Ultra back.
Ultraman's feet dug trenches in the streets as he managed to stop his and Jiger's momentum. Ultraman threw Jiger to the ground, cracking her jaw. Jiger screeched in pain and anger and reared up, trying to slash Ultraman in the face. Ultraman stepped out of the way and kicked her in the side, knocking her to the ground. Jiger screeched in rage and spun around, trying to knock Ultraman off his feet with her tail. Ultraman backflipped out of the way of the appendage. Jiger screeched in rage and turned around, a portion of her head glowing orange. With a screech, she fired her Heat-Ray. Ultraman quickly put up a shield, blocking the beam with ease. Jiger screeched and barreled toward her foe.
Alien Baltan fired blast after blast of his White Destruction Ray at Monster X, who ran through the explosions and jumped into the air, foot outstretched. Alien Baltan did the same, and they connected as they passed. Monster X landed heavily, holding his left shoulder skull as blood gushed from the base. Baltan's kick had dislodged it some, tearing the flesh. Alien Baltan landed and fired his Red-Freezing Ray. Monster X jumped over the beams and raised his clawed hands, ready to slash the alien. But before he could connect, Baltan slid to the left...and the right.
Monster X growled in confusion before being sandwiched between several White Destruction Rays. The Xilian weapon looked at the two Baltans, knowing one was an illusion. He picked one and fired his Gravitational Beams. The beams blasted through the alien, destroying the building behind him. But instead of the Baltan exploding, it faded away. Monster X nodded and turned to the other Baltan, only for his aching jaw to drop when he saw a crowd of Baltans waiting for him. He grinned and beckoned them to attack. The swarm charged, as did Monster X, stretching his arms out, clotheslining two illusions. Several more illusions fired their White Destruction Rays, blowing off pieces of his armor. Another Baltan slammed his claws on Monster X head, cracking the armor, crimson blood leaking out. Thinking quickly, he levitated into the air and spin around, firing his Gravitational Beams. One after another, the illusions disappeared. Monster X looked about, trying to find Alien Baltan. A pair of White Destruction Rays detonated on his back, knocking him to the ground. Monster X got up quickly and fired his Gravitational Beams, only for Baltan to fly out of the way. Monster X levitated after the Space Ninja. He could his master demanding he transform into Keizer Ghidorah, but he ignored it. He wanted to fight as Monster X, not as a Ghidorah.
Ultraman placed both hands on either side of his Color Timer and pulled his left hand back, Ultra Slash primed and ready. Jiger fired up her boosters and flew at him. Right before she hit, Ultraman jumped to the side and threw his Ultra Slash, cutting off her horn. Jiger landed and pawed at her head, screeching in dismay. She turned and fired more quills, aiming at Ultraman's eyes. The Ultra crossed his arms over his face, letting the quills bounce off harmlessly. He lowered his arms, right as Jiger charged at him. Ultraman delivered several chops and punches to her head. Jiger screeched and jabbed at him with her stinger. Ultraman grabbed the appendage before forming another Ultra Slash and bringing it down, cutting off her stinger and a portion of her tail. Jiger screeched in agony and raised one of her feet. An invisible force sent Ultraman tumbling. He rolled back to his feet and saw orange energy gathering on Jiger's head. She fired her Heat-Ray, and Ultraman fired his Specium Ray, the two beams locking. Ultraman's Specium Ray started to overpower Jiger's, who growled in rage. Jiger put all of her energy into her ray, melting the streets with the heat as it overpowered Ultraman's.
Ultraman calmly poured more energy into his beam, placing the struggle back in his favor. Jiger panicked, how could this be? As the beams neared, she realized her fatal mistake. She used all her energy in that one burst, whereas Ultraman evenly poured energy into his. Right as she finished that thought, the beams slammed into her with a large explosion of flames, smoke, and sparks. Jiger reared up, letting out one final screech before falling to the side, dead.
Monster X and Alien Baltan both hit the ground hard, sending a cloud of dust into the air. Baltan climbed to his feet, holding his shoulder, which had been nicked by a Gravitational Beam. Monster X stood up and charged, throwing a punch. Acting quickly, Alien Baltan clamped his claw over his hand. Baltan fired a White Destruction Ray from that claw, vaporizing the hand and a portion of his forearm. Monster X staggered back, howling in pain and holding the stump. Alien Baltan's trademark laugh filled the air, and Monster X found himself surrounded by a tower of Baltans. They lowered their claws, which started glowing. Monster X smiled, at least he would go out knowing there were others just as skilled as him. As the Baltans fired, he wished them luck.
Alien Baltan walked up to Ultraman, who nodded to him in thanks before the two allies took off to fight the Xilien forces.
