It had taken the small group a week to travel across four states to reach Georgia, it would have been quicker to drive all day but they were stopped by large herds of the undead. They had to search buildings to stay for the night, locking it up tight to ensure no one or the dead could not get inside. Daisy was enjoying their company even though it seemed to be the end of the world, she was trying to look at the positive side of it all. The thing she didn't want to do was to give up, she wanted to survive and see it through. Hoping that at some point they could rebuild and start again, it wouldn't be the same as before but she had hope that there was more to this.

They were getting tired and needed to rest up again before travelling into Atlanta to find some answers at the CDC. Daisy sat behind Tig, her hands holding tightly onto his waist, she had now become comfortable riding on his motorcycle. Driving down the highway Tig had spotted a sign for a campsite, Tig waves at Chibs attempting to grab his attention, Chibs looks back at his friend curiously wondering what was going on. Tig points to the road sign ahead of them, looking back to where Tig was pointing he finally gets what Tig was trying to do. Chibs nods back at Tig agreeing to head to the campsite, they turn off from the tarmac onto a dirt gravel road. The grit spraying Daisy's forcing her to bury her face into Tig's leather kutte, as they drove along the road her hold on Tig became tighter.

'Jesus christ' Daisy called out causing Tig to chuckle 'It's not funny, if I die you'll be my first meal'

'Hey that's not nice, where almost there'

'Hey, there's someone already here' Chibs adds, Daisy lifts her head back up and looks over Tig's shoulder, Chibs was right. There was an RV, and several other cars leading up to the campsite. By the look of the cars there were quite a few people there, she was hoping that they were alive and not wanting to bite their faces off. As they came to a stop a small group of people had started walking towards them, one of them, whom Daisy thought was the leader headed their way with a big gun in his hands. Without any hesitation Daisy climbs off the bike, and walks over to the man.

'Daisy!' Tig calls after her but ignores him.

'We're not here to hurt you' she tells the man as he walks closer towards her, she stops in her tracks before looking back at Tig for a moment who looked pissed off with her actions. She turns her attention to the stocky man, his large weapon still in his hands. His eyes scan over to the guys behind her, no doubt judging them before he even knew them. They were bikers and she knew the kind of things people would say about them, but they had been nothing but kind to her 'We didn't know anyone was up here, we wanted to rest before heading to Atlanta'

'You don't want to go there'

'Why not?' she asks, curious about his warning. She watches as he removes the cap from his head, scratching his dark, damp hair for a moment before placing it back onto his head.

'It's gone'

'What do you mean gone?'

'It was overrun, too many walkers, they couldn't control it. So the army, they bombed it'

'Fuck' Daisy replies as she throws her hands up in the air.

'Were you looking for someone?'

'No we thought we'd head to the CDC, find out if there was someone who could tell us what was going on. Maybe they had an army and that could protect us, we travelled so far'

Daisy removes the helmet from her head, running her fingers through her hair. She sighed, she had no idea what they were going to do. They had come all this way for nothing, they couldn't go back, she felt bad for bringing Tig and Chibs all this way.

'I'm sorry'

'It's not your fault, I just kinda hoped they could get me back home. I don't know if my family made it through this'

'I'm Shane' he introduces himself as he holds out his hand, Daisy shakes his hand quickly before pulling her own away from his vice like grip.

'I'm Daisy, this is Tig and Chibs'

'Hi' Chibs answers with a small smile.

'Hi' Tig speaks up, walking over to Daisy he stands by her side and shakes Shane's hand, he places his arm over her shoulder protectively as he watches the man before him.

'Like I said before, we're not here to hurt you or take anything you have. Tig and Chibs saved my arse by in Utah, they're good guys'

'You're welcome to stay as long as you need to' Shane tells them, Daisy lets out a sigh of relief, happy to know that he wasn't going to kick them out and not use his gun on them 'Do you have any tents?'

'We have one strapped on one of the bikes, we found an abandoned store in colorado, also found a few sleeping bags too'

'Okay just find a spot and settle in, I will come and find you guys later' he tells her, he turns his back to them and heads towards a tall, slender, dark haired woman.

'Are you sure that's a good idea?' Daisy hears the woman talk to Shane, trying her hardest not to be overheard but failing.

'Lori, we have to give them a chance'

'What about Carl?'

Shane turns to face the newcomers once again and walks back in their directions.

'I hate to ask you guys but we need your guns, we don't know you and we don't need to be sleeping with one eye open'

'Can we keep our knives? So we can fight any walkers. I need something to protect myself with, i'm not going to be like a sitting duck here' Daisy asks him.

'Sure'

Daisy looks back to Tig and Chibs, both of them appeared less than happy to hand over their guns 'What do you think? We need to rest and we have nowhere else to go'

Tig and Chibs look at one another for a moment, in silent agreement they give in, then walk over to Shane and hand over their hand guns. Both the men still had a machete, which they also found in colorado, to use if they needed to. Shane walks back to the same woman again, this time a young boy is standing to her side.

'Feel better?'

'Wow that was tense' Daisy spoke up and looked up to Tig who was now standing in front of her.

'I hope I don't come to regret handing over my favourite gun'

'It will be fine Tig, this is the best thing we have seen so far. There are other people here and by the looks of things they have someone on watch, we can finally get some sleep. You guys could use it, you look like shit'

'Bitch'

Daisy laughs at Tig 'Trollop'

'Come on, let's put this tent up before it gets dark' Chibs calls after them, Tig and Daisy walk over to the bikes and begin to untie their sleeping bags and supplies.

'So you gonna share a bag with me?' Tig teases Daisy, she rolls her eyes as she grabs as much as she can carry.

'Well I was thinking about it, but then I thought I'd share with Chibs'

'Oh my heart' Tig places his hand onto his chest, Daisy shakes her head and starts walking away from the men, intent on looking for the perfect spot.

'I think i'm in love'

'You hurt that girl Tig then you have me to answer to' Chibs warns him with a glare.

'I wouldn't think of it'

'Aye, I bet. I mean it Tig, she's a sweet lass and the last thing she needs is someone messing with her'

'Chill papa bear' Tig holds up his hands in surrender, he hadn't seen Chibs like this before 'You have nothing to worry about'

'Come on let's catch up with Daisy, we'll get the rest of the shit when we're set up'
