As Amu and Ikuto's lips parted, they looked into each other's eyes before reality called them back as Amu's phone began to ring. 'Am I allowed to answer it?' She asked looking at Ikuto who sighed. 'Why are you asking me that?' He smirked at her as she stood up and answered her phone.

'Hello this is Am-' Amu began to say before the voice on the other end of the phone interrupted her. 'Amu I need to speak to you. It's important.' She felt her body freeze over as she looked back at Ikuto who stood up once he saw the look of fear find its way to her face, he walked to her side and bent down to listen in to the conversation. 'Amu, are you there?' He froze as Kukai's voice rang loud and clear into his ear.

'Please! Just come to the door, it's really important that I talk to you. I haven't got much time before I have to leave.' He cried out as Amu looked up at Ikuto, he took the phone from her and walked over to her balcony. 'What do you want Souma?' Ikuto asked coldly as Amu followed him.

'Why have you got Amu's phone?' Kukai replied back just as coldly. 'I asked you a question Souma.' Ikuto demanded through his frustration. 'I just need to speak to her before I go to the hospital.' Kukai sighed as Ikuto heard him lean against something. 'Are you outside?' Ikuto asked as he looked across the road from Amu's house to see Kukai leaning against a tree with his dad standing beside him.

'Yeah, I'm with my dad. I'm not going to hurt her! Please just tell her to come to the door. Come with her if you like! I just need to see her before I leave.' Kukai pleaded as the line went dead. Ikuto watched as Kukai looked down at his now dead phone and gave it to his dad before looking up at the house.

'I'm coming with you. You better see what he wants.' Ikuto spoke carefully as Amu looked up at him with confusion on her face. 'But I don't want to! I want to stay in here where it is safe Ikuto!' Amu replied as Ikuto looked down at her and sighed. 'He is going to the hospital Amu.' Her eyes widened as Amu looked out the balcony window to see a care pull up next to Kukai and his father.

She turned towards her door and ran downstairs with Ikuto following behind, she opened the door as she slipped her shoes on and began to run across the road. 'Kukai!' She shouted out to see him look over at her with shock in his eyes. 'Amu! Look out!' He yelled out as he began running towards her as a car beeped, Amu looked at the car speeding towards her before feeling Ikuto grab her close to him, saving her life. She looked up at him blushing as she gripped onto his chest. Ikuto looked over at Kukai who was slowly walking over, shaking his head in disappointment.

'You should be more careful Amu. You could've gotten yourself killed just then.' He watched as the car sped off around the corner almost crashing into a parked car. 'What do you need to talk to Amu about Souma?' Ikuto asked as he put his hands on Amu's shoulders and turned her to face Kukai.

'Amu, I have to go to the hospital. I'm probably going to be staying overnight while they run some tests.' Kukai spoke slowly as he looked at Amu, afraid to get closer to her, she looked up at Ikuto who had a sincere look on his face. 'What tests Souma?' He asked as Amu looked at Kukai again. 'Mental health tests...' Kukai looked away sadly trying to avoid Amu's gaze.

'Mental health tests? Why are you getting mental health tests done Kukai?' She asked as she tried to take a step closer but felt Ikuto's grip tighten slightly on her shoulders. Kukai looked up at Ikuto and they both nodded at each other as if communicating telepathically. 'Do you really have to ask Amu?' Kukai said as she looked down slightly.

'I take it the principal and your father came to the conclusion at the school?' Ikuto asked as Kukai nodded at him. 'Amu, I might have a mental disorder which would explain my mood swings and loss of memory.' Kukai explained as he brought Amu's gaze back to his. 'Loss of memory? What do you mean?' Amu asked as she felt her chest tighten up. 'I don't remember going crazy on Mr. Tsukiyomi Amu. I don't remember pushing you off of me into the mirror. I was told everything that Mr. Tsukiyomi told the principal as we made our way back to his office. Truth is I don't even remember what happens at the end or sometimes during our dance lesson, I start to feel uneasy then it's the end of the school day and we're leaving the dance hall.' He looks down sadly as Ikuto takes a hand from Amu's shoulder and places it on Kukai's shoulder.

'Make sure you get better soon Souma, you are still Amu's dance partner after all.' He smiled down at Kukai kindly who nodded at him before looking at Amu and placing a hand on her cheek gently. 'I'll be back to my old self in no time at all, just you wait Amu.' He smiled at her with his signature cheeky grin as a tear escaped her eyes.

Kukai looked up at Ikuto with a serious look. 'Keep her safe. When I get back I want to see her smiling. She seems to smile more when you are around so keep her happy and smiling.' He said as Ikuto nodded before Kukai turned away and made his way to the taxi that was waiting for him. Kukai looked back at Amu and Ikuto one last time to see Amu turn around in Ikuto's arms and Ikuto embrace Amu protectively, Kukai smiled before getting in to the taxi and driving away to the hospital.

It had been a week since Kukai had left in the taxi, Ikuto was filling in for Kukai's part in dance class, the routine was now complete and everyone was starting to worry about if Kukai would be back in time to learn the moves to the perfection that he should.

It was Thursday evening and the second hour of dance class, everyone was taking their 15 minute break as the door to the dance hall opened. 'Yes I'll call you if there are any problems! I'll be fine! Yes I'm sure!' Amu looked up from the opposite side of the room where she and Ikuto were talking. Ikuto followed her gaze and smirked.

'So you're finally back Souma?' Ikuto called out as he stroked Amu on the head and began to walk over to him. Amu smiled and ran over to Kukai along with the other dance students. 'Yeah, you could say that.' Kukai grinned, Ikuto was watching him as the other students surrounded him. He looked like himself again, before the colour had paled on his face and his eyes were awake yet vacant. Now his skin was its usual tanned colour and his eyes were sparkling with life, Ikuto didn't know how he didn't notice it before, he was glad now that he was back but bit the inside of his mouth as he watched Amu and Kukai hug.

Kukai pecked Amu on the neck as she jumped into his arms, he looked up at Ikuto as he felt his eyes watching them. He let go of Amu before walking over to him and bowing in respect. 'Thank you for keeping to your word Mr. Tsukiyomi.' Kukai said as he stood up to look at Ikuto once more.

Amu walked over to Ikuto's side and brushed her hand against his as she turned to face Kukai and the other students. Kukai was soon completely surrounded and was driven away from Ikuto and Amu who made their way back over to the opposite side of the room to finish their conversation.

'Amu, do you have any feelings towards Kukai?' Ikuto asked in a suspicious tone. She rolled her eyes and looked at him. 'Really Ikuto, you're back to being jealous? You think because he has just come back and we shared a hug that I have feelings for him? Ikuto I don't have feelings for anyone right now so stop putting something there that isn't there to begin with.' She sighed as she looked away from Ikuto who held her hand in a way that was hidden from the other students.

'You know I get jealous very easily. I can't help it if you are so cute and I fear that someone else is going to sweep you off your feet and take you away from me now can I?' He smirks as he looks at her lips, she blushes as she looks at him. 'Even so, if it makes you feel any better, you stand a better chance than anyone else in this room.' She smiled as he stroked her hand before letting go and looking over at the other students who were trying to teach Kukai the rest of the dance.

'We better show him the dance, you need to promise to be nice ok Ikuto?' Amu smiled at him as she saw the dread creep onto his face. 'Hey, keep a smile on your face. You're tutoring me tonight remember? We just need to get through this last hour.' He sighed as he nodded before making his way over to the students.

'Ok then everyone!' He clapped his hands together to get everyone's attention, Amu follows him and stands next to him before Kukai looks over at her, and she noticed he seemed to be slightly different. She'd heard that he was taking medication to help with his condition but his gaze was different. She felt her chest tighten as she realised he had a suspicious look in his eye, his gaze went from her to Ikuto and back to her, she felt herself panic as he continued to stare at the two of them suspiciously.

'We need to show Kukai the completed dance routine. We can work with you on it tomorrow Kukai. You have a week to memorise and perfect, do you understand?' Ikuto explained as he watched Kukai carefully, he must have been thinking the same as Amu because he was walking around the class to keep away from Amu.

'Yes I understand. Who took my place while I was gone?' Kukai asked as he kept his eyes on Ikuto. His eyes filled with wonder and curiosity. 'I did Kukai. We all hoped that you would be back in time so everyone else kept their appointed roles.' Ikuto responded as he looked over at Amu.

'Very well, that was for the best I suppose. Could you show me the dance please?' Kukai requested as everyone began to take their positions. 'Very well, Kukai stand at the front of the class please.' Kukai and Ikuto changed places as Amu got into position with the rest of the girls and took a deep breath.

They began to dance and Kukai was keeping a close eye on how Ikuto moves and how he interacts with the other dancers. He keeps staring at them as Ikuto and Amu grind against each other and hold each other as if they were lovers. Once they finish they are in each other's arms and staring into each other's eyes.

The music stops as Amu and Ikuto continue to stare into each other's eyes, they then let go of each other, Amu collapses to the floor panting slightly from the intense dance routine. Kukai walks over to her and hands her a bottle of water.

'I sure have missed a lot haven't I?' Kukai frowned as he sat down next to Amu and looked up at Ikuto. 'You two dance amazingly together. You're really good at acting that chemistry between you both.' He kept an eye on Ikuto's facial expression as he took a gulp from his water and sat down opposite Amu, the bell rings and the rest of the dancers leave.

'How did the tests go?' Amu asked after taking a big gulp of water and breathing out a sigh of satisfaction. 'I definitely have a mental health disorder. They just aren't sure if it is bipolar or schizophrenia. They've given me some medication to help though.' He smiled at Amu as she looked down slightly.

'I'm really sorry for what happened. I'm sorry to both of you.' Kukai apologised as he looked between the both of them. 'Souma, I kept my promise to you, now you need to promise me something.' Ikuto began speaking in a serious yet somewhat gentle tone.

'What's that Mr. Tsukiyomi?' Kukai asked as Amu lay back on the floor. 'I want you to tell me when you feel like you are going to blow. You know how you feel before these blackouts and bursts of anger so just promise me that you are going to make sure that if you feel an episode coming on you tell me so I can take you out of the room. I don't want you to hurt anyone the way you did that day again. Do you understand me?' Ikuto was looking right at Kukai who nodded in agreement.

'I know that you really mean that you don't want me to hurt Amu again Mr. Tsukiyomi.' Kukai responded as Amu sat back up and looked at him. 'What makes you think I mean it only for Amu?' Ikuto asked as he looked at Amu with an uneasy look on his face.

'I saw you two hug before I got in the taxi to go to the hospital. I know that you care for Amu in a way that may be immoral for a teacher to feel about a student.' Kukai responded as Ikuto turned his gaze to Kukai, Amu felt her chest tighten as she stood up. 'I'm going to get changed...' She grabbed her phone and bottle of water before leaving them sat on the floor.

'Souma, why do you think I feel that way about Amu?' Ikuto felt anger build up in him. 'Since I've been on the medication I have noticed things more. I know that you love her Mr. Tsukiyomi. She cares about you as well but I just worry that if you two pursue that mutual feeling that she will get hurt.' Kukai explained as he stood up slowly.

'Souma, I need you to think very carefully about what you are saying.' Ikuto stood up and glared at Kukai with intense anger. 'I would never hurt Amu. I sure as hell am not going to let you hurt her again. She was broken after that Souma, I had no clue how to fix her.' Ikuto bit the inside of his mouth as he saw Kukai smile gently at him. 'It will never work between you two though. Someone will find out and you'll lose your job, Amu will never be allowed to see you again and I will be there to piece her heart back together.

'I see you still remember your feelings for her.' Ikuto responded as Kukai glared back at him. 'Yes I do, you aren't the only person who loves Amu. I won't stop until she chooses where her heart lies. I may love her but if she chose you I would back away. I want her to be happy.' Kukai explained as he began walking towards the door. 'Don't count yourself in Souma. I will win Amu's heart. No matter what it takes.' Ikuto could feel his emotions going into over drive. He couldn't get the image of Kukai holding and kissing Amu out of his head, he put his hands on his head as he tried to destroy them.

'She might still choose me. Just because she hasn't chosen me yet doesn't mean that she won't.' Ikuto looked up at Kukai before pushing him against the wall by his collar. 'Don't you dare think that you stand a chance with Amu! She will choose me because I can guarantee that I will never go psycho and harm her. She will not be sucked in by your charm because her heart is already beginning to bloom.' Ikuto said before releasing his collar and going to the sound system before Amu came in.

'I'm ready to go. Our tutoring session is still on tonight right?' Amu smiled at Ikuto as Kukai stared at Amu, his heart sank as he could hear the love in her voice, he knew that she didn't realise it but he wasn't going to allow Ikuto to win her over. He wouldn't win her over by fighting Ikuto either, he was going to swoon her into his arms.

'Yes Amu. Let me just gather my belongings from my office.' Ikuto replied as he shut everything off and followed the teens out of the dance hall. He locked the doors before disappearing down the hall to his office.

'Be honest with me Amu. Do you love him?' Amu turned and looked at Kukai with confused eyes. 'What are you on about Kukai?' Kukai stepped closer to her, she took a step back, she was still unsure about if she could still trust him. 'Do you love Mr. Tsukiyomi? It's not a very difficult question Amu.' Kukai asked as he reached a hand out to touch her cheek.

She shrugged away from him in the direction of Ikuto's office. 'He is our dance teacher, why would you think something so stupid Kukai?' She asked as he still walked towards her. 'I know that he likes you and I know that there is something there for you Amu. I just want to know what it is.' Kukai replied as Amu stood outside Ikuto's office door.

She sighs as looks down. 'I think I might like him...' Kukai froze as he stared at Amu, she was blushing as she brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. 'You're falling for him...aren't you?' Kukai almost whispered in disbelief. 'You wouldn't understand Kukai, he has been looking out for me, keeping me safe.' She explained as she stayed by Ikuto's door, she had no idea that Ikuto had his ear plastered against the wall and could hear everything that they were saying.

'You know things will never work out between you both.' Kukai said as he leaned against a wall a few metres away from her, she looked up at him with pleading eyes, asking him to really understand what she was trying to say. 'I know it is near impossible for a teacher and a student to have a relationship but I can't help feel a pull towards him, I can't help but feel that we are made for each other. He really cares for me Kukai.' She felt her stomach flutter as she thought about having a real relationship with Ikuto.

'How will you ever have a relationship though Amu? You are a student and he is your teacher, you can't have a relationship with him.' Kukai sighed as he saw Amu put a hand to her chest.

'I may not be able to right now Kukai, and I know that but I know he will wait for me.' Amu countered his harsh words, she gripped onto her shirt where her heart is as if to show Kukai that he was hurting her emotionally.

'Amu, listen to me, you know you can't have a relationship with him and you know that he won't wait for you, if it was that easy for him to reel you in then how do you expect him to wait for you when there is a school full of other girls that he could either fall for or have fall for him? I'm just asking for you to think realistically. I don't want you to get hurt.' He tried to reason with her calmly.

'Kukai, I understand that you care about me but I can't help who my heart chooses and right now it chooses Ikuto.' She said before putting her hand over her mouth and blushing furiously, as Kukai was about to counter her comment Ikuto opened the door and shot a sharp stare at Kukai.

'I think you should stop what you are saying now Souma.' He said coldly as he locked his office door and began to lead Amu out of the building. 'But even you know it Ikuto! How can you wait for her? How will you be able to have a relationship once she leaves school anyway? You will still be a teacher.' Kukai says as he follows them out of the building.

'You can't just come back after a week and think things can go back to how they were Souma, she has made her choice.' Ikuto says as they reach the doors. Kukai blocks their way out and looks at Amu with concerned eyes. 'I'm not going to say anything but I just think the both of you should really make a decision based on if you truly believe you can have a future together and how much you are both willing to risk or even give up for the other.' Kukai put his hands down as Amu and Ikuto exchanged looks.

'I'd quit my job if it meant I could be with her.' Ikuto said as he stroked her hair gently. 'I'd drop out of the school and leave this place if I could, I just don't think I would be willing to give up my other dreams.' Amu looked down feeling guilty before feeling Ikuto lift her chin up to look at him.

'I would never force you to do that. I just want you to be happy and safe. That's why I am not going to quit, so I can keep an eye on you and keep you safe at school as well as at work.' He smiled down at her as she blushed and smiled back, Kukai coughed as Ikuto took his hand from Amu's chin and she looked away shyly. 'Just think about what I said.' Kukai said before leaving the building.

Amu let out a long sigh before looking up at Ikuto who was watching Kukai walk down the path. 'Ikuto, is everything ok?' Amu asked as she held his fingers loosely. 'Yeah, I was just thinking if he would like Utau.' He said as he opened the door and allowing Amu to leave first.

'Utau, why would you wonder something like that?' Amu asked as they walked down the path. 'He likes you Amu. He wants to take your heart from me. I told you, I'll do anything to have you as mine. Besides Utau is always complaining about how she doesn't have a boyfriend so it's the perfect plan to get them both off of my back.' He smiles down at her as she grips onto her bag.

'You really will go to any length won't you?' She says shyly as they get to the bottom of their road. 'Of course, and apparently it is working.' He smirked as they stood on the corner, Amu looked up at him with a confused look. 'I heard everything you said to Kukai. About how you know I'll wait for you and how you are falling for me.' He laughed slightly as her eyes widened in realisation and she hid her dark red face from him with her hands.

'You were standing outside of my office Amu, how did you expect me not to hear.' He smirked as she opened her fingers to look at him before slowly taking her hands away. 'I didn't think you would hear it, I was standing there so you could come to my rescue.' She mumbled as she looked down. He smirked as they began to walk up the hill to Ikuto's house. Amu had gotten used to the routine now and followed him into the house.

'Hi Utau.' Amu said as she saw Utau come downstairs before she stood in front of her and Ikuto. 'Ikuto, where were you!?' She yelled at him as she pushed him back slightly.

'What the hell are you on about now Utau!?' Ikuto exclaimed as he took his shoes off. 'You were supposed to be here 20 minutes ago to take me to the airport! Have you forgotten that I have a concert in America tomorrow!?' She yelled as he walked past her and made his way upstairs. 'And why are you still hanging around with the pink haired kid!? Ikuto! Are you even listening to me!?' She ran up the stairs to chase after him.

Amu looked down slightly and stared at her breasts, she sighed as she poked them slightly, she had average breasts and knew that Utau didn't think she was 'mature' enough to date or even be around her older brother. Amu had learned that she was his step sister, but she hated how she always belittled her because of the size of her breasts. Amu looked in the mirror and stood to the side as she looked at her figure before facing straight again. She had an average bum but her waist was very curvy, she guessed that as she got older her breasts would grow bigger, she looked down her top but jumped as she felt two arms snake around her waist.

'Why do I always catch you either looking at your bum or your breasts?' Ikuto purred into her ear causing her to shiver from his breath on her neck. 'I...I just...I was just...thinking...' She stammered as he kissed her neck gently. 'Thinking about what?' He purred once more as she turned around in his arms. 'If they will grow bigger...I don't like your sister calling me a little kid all the time.' She looked away as Ikuto laughed, she looked back at him in confusion.

'You realise that I haven't even seen your breasts right?' She blushed as he hugged her closer to him. 'And you aren't going to for a long time.' She teased as he frowned. 'I will only see them when I know you are completely ready.' He let her go as Utau came down the stairs.

'You, kid, go upstairs and grab my bags! Ikuto you are taking me to the airport!' She yelled as Ikuto took a step in front of Amu. Utau's eyes grew big with anger. 'Ikuto, I don't have time for this! I need you to take me this second!' Ikuto remained still as Amu looked up at him and blushed.

'Utau, I want you to stop calling Amu a kid and ordering the both of us around like your slaves. I have other responsibilities now so you can get a cab there.' He said as he got his shoes on and handed her the number for the cab company. 'Have fun in America.' He grabbed his bags, let Amu out and slammed the door behind him.

'Why'd you do that Ikuto? We could've called off our tutoring session for today. I don't mind.' Amu said as he led her up to her house. 'No, I'm not letting her ruin my time alone with you Amu. Just know that she can get like that a lot ever since the sales went up with her album and her agent wants her to do a world tour she has gotten really bitchy.' He sighed as they reached Amu's house.

They entered the house, took their shoes off and went straight up to Amu's room. Amu took her usual place sitting on her bed, after locking her door as Ikuto put his jacket on her desk chair. 'Are we going to do actual tutoring today or are you going to kiss me again?' She teased as she took out her notepad.

'That depends on what you get changed into.' He smirks as he sits next to her and kisses her neck, she bites her bottom lip as she feels her insides burn up, she didn't know why but every time they were sitting on her bed it through her senses into overload and she would get excited more every time.

'And if I don't get changed?' Amu said as he sat up and looked at her raising an eyebrow. 'You know you are going to get changed in about 5 minutes, you always do.' He teased as he pecked her neck gently. She stood up and ran into her closet to get changed, Ikuto laughed slightly as he leant against the wall. He looked down at his pants to see his bulge had already grown, he sighed as he sat up and looked at the closet door. How can she get me so hard so quickly? I've never even seen her naked. If this is how I get when she is fully clothes I wonder how it will be when we make it official. He sighs as he stands up and looks out the balcony window.

Amu comes out of her closet wearing her denim mini skirt with her black shorts on underneath along with her with long sleeved crop top and sports bra underneath. 'Ready...' He turns around and smirks as he walks over to her snaking his arms around her waist and placing small butterfly kisses along her neck and collarbone.

She tilt her head back slightly as she bit her bottom lip, she felt her panties get wetter and wetter from his touch and tried her best to keep it from showing. 'You're never going to get any tutoring done if you keep wearing these types of clothes around me Amu.' He was purring in her ear again, this caused her to shiver once more as he picked her up bridal style and sat down on the bed with her on his lap.

'Wait a second...' She stood up and looked down at his pants to see his bulge, she blushed and turned away. 'I think I just sat on...your bulge...' She stammered as he stood up. 'I'm sorry...you do this to me every time Amu...' He walked over to the door. 'Where are you going?' She asked as she ran over to him and put a hand on his shoulder.

'To get rid of it, like I always do.' He replied as he put his hand on the lock, she put her hand on his. 'Like you always do? What do you mean?' She asked as he looked at her. 'The only way that I can get rid of it, we're not going to get physical until we've been together for at least 3 years. That's what we agreed on, so I'm going to the bathroom. I'll be right back.' He kissed her gently on her lips before leaving and going to the bathroom, she sighed as she sat down on her bed.

I'm glad he is sticking to our rule but we technically aren't even together yet, what if Kukai is right and Ikuto falls for a different student who is more willing to give him everything? What if Ikuto won't wait for me? Amu thought to herself as she pulled her knees to her face.

She looked out the window and sighed as she wondered about being with Ikuto, in an official relationship. She shook her head and came to a decision, she would give it 3 months after the dance show was over to see if he still felt the same way about her.

He came back into her room with a smirk as he kissed her gently. 'Everything ok?' He asked her as she pulled away from him slightly. 'Yeah, I was thinking about us...' He continued to look at her cautiously. 'I want to give it a good few more months to see how things stay, I don't want us to get into a relationship if what we have now goes in time.' She smiled at him as she saw hope spring into his eyes. 'I won't disappoint you Amu.' He kissed her gently on the lips again. 'I hope so...' She smiled at him as she snuggled to his chest.
