After the Karasuno Volleyball Team had finally won their match against Shiratorizawa, the boys were heading towards the bus to load up their stuff and head back to the school but Hinata suddenly stopped when a sharp pain was shooting through his legs "I...I can't move" Hinata struggled to move one foot in front of the other but his legs felt like rocks and immovable. "Ugh! Come on you stupid legs! I don't want to be left behind!"

"Ooooooh. Someone is having a bit of trouble there? Come on shorty. You just need a little push is all." Tanaka spoke in excitement as he comes up to Hinata with a sinister smile on his face.

"Now just hold on a second there!" Daichi immediately grabs the back of Tanaka's shirt, yanking him back from where he was. "If you push Hinata in his current state, you will only end up hurting him and after going through the great ordeal with Shiratorizawa, we all need to heal our sore muscles, not cause further injury to them." He said while glaring at Tanaka.

Nearly getting choked by the collar of his shirt, Tanaka steps back and pointed at Daichi. "How'd you know what I was about to do?!"

"Dumbass, Hinata! Stop playing around and get in the bus!" Even after the major victory the Kurasuno team had received, Kageyama angrily roared at Hinata impatiently.

"Shut up Kageyama! I'm not playing around! After the match I've been having trouble walking properly. I-I don't know what to do, I really can't move my legs right now." Hinata tried moving his legs again but it felt like he was paralyzed from the waist down and the thought of it scared him.

"Don't worry, Hinata! I know just what to do!" Nishinoya comes prancing over to Hinata, beaming with excitement. "Just lift one foot up then the other." He grabs Hinata's right leg then attempts to move it forward.

Hinata wobbled back and forth, trying to keep his balance. "W-wait! Noya-sa-" Before he could finish his sentence he ended up face planting on the concrete floor.

"Pfft." A small snicker came from Tsukki after witnessing the attempted failure of his teammates before walking into the bus with Yamagushi following behind him with a worried look on his face.

Nishinoya quickly lets go of the other male and scurried over to his side. "Oh no, Hinata! Are you okay?!" He asked, worried about Hinata.

"You dumbass. You're wasting our time! Coach wants to talk to us as soon as we get back!" Kageyama approached Hinata then leaned over him and carried him on his arms, bridal style.

"W-wait! Kageyama! What are you doing?! Put me down!!" Embarrassed and flustered by what Kageyama had done out of the blue, Hinata closes his eyes shut and tried to push himself away and flailing his legs in order to free himself from the demons grasps.

"Hey! Stop squirming you idiot or else i'll drop you!!" Kageyama roared in anger as he staggered back and forth while trying to keep the smaller one secure in his arms.

The fear of hitting the ground again overwhelmed Hinata that his face turned blue. "Okay, okay. I'll stop... bakayama" The last word was spoken in a soft whisper as he turned his lightly tinted face away from the spectators and hidden in the other males shirt. What is going on? Why is Kageyama helping me all of a sudden? This is weird, my face is burning. Every step felt like he was floating in a cloud with cherry blossom petals gently blowing in the wind, it was strange but peaceful. I want this to never end.

A low muffled voice reached Hinata's ears but he couldn't make out what it was. Gradually it kept getting louder but still he couldn't understand what was being said or where it was coming from.

"I SAID WAKE UP!!!" Suddenly Hinata felt his back hitting the backseat of the bus, luckily the soft couching absorbed most of the force. He opened his eyes to an angry beast that looked like it was on the verge of socking him in the face. A sudden fear came over him.

"You Dumbass How many times do I have to tell you to wake up and who the he- falls asleep that da-m quick?" Kageyama turned away and tried to sit somewhere else but all the other seats were taken. With an agitated flop, he sat right next to Hinata.

Nishinoya peeked over from where he was seating to gaze at the other two. "You didn't have to throw him like a ragdoll you know. Are you okay, Hinata?"

"Yeah... I'll be fine." Feeling defeated with heaviness in his chest, he leaned against the window of the bus and closed his eyes, trying to keep himself calm.

Barely keeping his eyes open, Hinata spoke in a low drowsy tone while trying to keep himself steady on the chair with his two small hands propped underneath his thighs. "I'm so tired." In just a few more minutes he was knocked out, bopping his head side to side as drool hung from his lower lip. When the bus made a sharp turn his head banged against the window waking him up from his small nap. Hinata felt someone next to him suddenly move but all he could focus on was the pain coming from his head. "Ow ow ow." He crouched over and held his head in between his hands.

"What the hell? Why is it hard for you to just stay quiet and sleep? You're just so annoying you know that?" Kageyama snapped in vexation. "I might as well do something about it since I'm here stuck with you."

Confused and still in pain, Hinata looked over at Kageyama with tears in his eyes. "Huh?"

Without another word, Kageyama pulled the smaller male over and placed his head on his lap. "If you fucking move I'll kill you."

"Bu-but, Kageyama on your lap?!" Hinata's eyes were closed shut from embarrassment. He couldn't dare look up at him from where he was. All he could do was stay still like a child who would get in trouble if he moved. The drowsiness escaped him as his heart started to pound fast just like they were before when he was carried. "Ka-Kageyama?" There was no response then Hinata became anxious and called out again. "Uhm... Kageya-" He turned his face ever so slightly over to look up at the other male and to his surprise, Kageyama was fast asleep with his arms crossed over his chest. A gentle warmth filled his cheeks and the pain in his chest grew stronger as he gazed up at the other male. Wow. I didn't know Kageyama could actually look like a human being and not a demon. A light giggle escaped him before adjusting himself to fully look up at the sleeping face hovering over him.

An innocent idea came to Hinata, lightly licking his lips while staring at the others parted lips. Maybe... just once... In a trance with the absolute fact that he could follow through with his idea, he gradually got closer and closer to the others lips.

"Wake up sleeping beauties. We're back on school grounds." Coach Ukai muttered from the front of the bus.

Surprised by coach Ukai's voice, Hinata quickly sat up and pretended to be looking out the window with both of his hands properly placed on his lap like a loyal dog. He gulped before checking to see if everyone saw what he was doing but no one, not even Kageyama, moved an inch. All he could hear were snores and low mumbling coming from his teammates. Hinata sighed a breath of relief then facepalmed with both of his hands and a very red face. Oh no! What was I going to do?! And to Kageyama of all people! I... I... He presses his palms against his cheek, trying to get himself together. I can't let myself get distracted! I need to focus on volleyball!!
