It was a month later that I had seen him at Haru's clubhouse. His eyes were distant and cloudy, and he asked if Haru was in, I couldn't let him see her as it was, so I told him no. He left before I could even ask him anything, was he sleeping with Haru? I thought so, but I had the feeling, that he wasn't…
The last meaningful interaction I had with Legosi, was the time before I lost everything. I had learned That Haru was taken, and I was blackmailed into doing nothing. It didn't matter anyways, me and Haru couldn't be together.
"Louis, thank goodness I found you… Haru's been taken! By the Shishigumi!" I hated that look he gave me, like I was supposed to fix everything, like I was perfect and could do anything.
"It's nothing new… It's too late to save her anyways..." was my answer, she was probably already dead, it hurt, but we couldn't risk it getting out that this happened… I couldn't risk it… "but you're in love with her! And she loves you too!" what did he know! What does a wolf who hates his own nature know! Before I knew it, I struck him and yelled."Don't act like you know anything. you're just a wolf who pretends to be powerless. Who pretends to be a nobody! I can't break the peace of the city for one life! So do what you always do, and pretend you belong!" I meant it, he always pretended to be powerless, it would be better if we both… forgot.
I never saw hi- Legosi, the true Legosi, until that day, his eyes, were the same as that day of the play, except it was aimed at me. His body wasn't like it was before though, while his eyes showed his true nature back then, his body was still cowed. But here…
