Chapter 3
"Whaaat!? You want to go where Anne!? " shouted Hop Pop. He seemed appalled by the children's wishes. "Oh come on HP, me and my parents went on family vacations all the time back home," Anne replied. The kids really wanted to go to Newtopia bit Hop Pop refused to spend money on a pointless vacation just to discover Wally's past when One - eyed Wally himself lived right around the corner.
"We are not going and that's final so let this thing go!! "
The kids were really disappointed and decided to hang out in Anne's room (or basement). They sat down and stayed in silence for a few minutes, then Anne said, "So we're not letting this thing go, right."
The others nodded in agreement. They had heard to much not to find out more. "So what's next? Do I attack Hop Pop until he caves? " Polly asked. "Why don't we try making some extra cash to pay for the trip? " Sprig interrupted. None of them actually wanted to work but what other choice did they have. Ask Wally? That would be to embarrassing and Wally would probably not answer them in a normal, straight-forward way.
So it was decided, they would all find jobs
but who was going to hire a bunch of kids.
