"I see you're awake, you should call the nurse," he said, and sat on the end of my bed.

I unclasped and relaxed myself... I looked at him puzzled, he pointed at the button on the side of my bed. "Oh," I can't process this. I recognize who he is... his outfit, that turtleneck, mask, the green flak jacket... his headband. This has to be a joke, a weird creepy cosplay joke. I pressed the button, and that seem to trigger something. Shortly after, a woman came in asking me how I am, checking my vitals, the man stood leaning against a wall, getting out of the nurse's way of work.

"Oh great, you have taken your medicine as instructed, I will be back to grab you your lunch," she said, as she writes down the values she took on the clipboard. As she was about to leave I mustered up the courage.

"Wait," I called out.
"Yes miss?"
"Where are we?" I asked, the man looked over. "Konohagakure," he answered before the nurse could, and dismissed her off to her duties

"You're kidding," I stared at him, expecting him to burst out laughing. He didn't, in fact, he was amused by this. Handing my clothes to me, he sat on the waiting chair. "I'm not," he smiled. Although I couldn't see it, his eyes said so. The nurse came back with a tray of food, she puts them down on the end table. My stomach started rumbling, as the scent of food wafted through the air.

I was entranced with thoughts. He chuckled, "I'll introduce myself and explain what happened as you eat."

I nodded, pulling the end table towards me. As I took my first bite, he started to talk.

"My name is Hatake Kakashi,"

I choked on the food. "Really?" I asked almost sarcastically, while coughing.

I took a drink of water, and calmed down. "Is your name really Hatake Kakashi?"

I'm convinced that this is because of the pills. The nurse looks normal and 'Kakashi' probably is a normal doctor but I'm in some la-la land from the side effects. He looked at me oddly. He reached into his flak jacket and handed me a piece of card. "As you can see there, yes I am."

I resumed eating while scanning the card is solid, his information is written on this, one might say... it looked legit. "You were found in front of the village gates, someone brought you to the hospital." He explained.

"Did he say... found?"

"What do you mean 'found'?" I asked in disbelief. "Village?" I still can't wrap this around my head, I really, absolutely, can't. "Found, on the ground, unconscious, in front of the village gates," he continued. There was a long awful silence after he said that. Eventually, I took the last bite of food.

Pushing away the end table, he took a seat on my bed again. "Now, that's out of the order, where are you from, and what's your business?" The environment turned heavy. "A person can't just be found unconscious, and conveniently placed in front of one of the largest village in this land; who sent you?"

Words that sounded foreign to hear and say, made sense in my head. I answered almost calmly: "I do not know how I got here, if this is really 'Konohagakure'. I was walking home and I was not paying attention to the roads, I almost got hit by a truck, I saw a flash of black, gone unconscious, and woke up, and lastly, here we are now." Now it's his turn to doubt.

"You say you have no recollection on the period between your accident, and how you end up here?"
"Yes,"
"Is there any proof of what you're saying is true?"

I couldn't answer that. It doesn't make sense for me either the more I thought of it. I stayed silent. I grabbed my wallet from my bag, and took out my ID. I handed it to him. He looks intrigued. "I'm assuming this is your ID?" He handed the card back to me. I put it back into my wallet.

"Yes, and as you can see, I don't come from this land."
"How can I trust you?"
"You don't have to trust me immediately, I can earn it from you."

My answer seem to satisfy him. "Ah, you're right, we don't, but you will still be under the Hokage's custody, until we do," he shrugged. I complied. "I'm grabbing a drink, don't try anything," he walked out of the room. The nurse from earlier came back in, announcing that I could leave the hospital. I thanked her, and I expected her to leave. When she didn't, I sensed something is wrong. She stared at me, one hand behind her.

"She has something behind her, and it will probably kill me," I immediately tried to think of a plan.

Her eyes locked on me, looking empty. She took a step closer, and another... and another. I was panicking at this point. I saw a black figure in the corner of the room. She lunged towards me, with a scalpel in the hand she hid. "I knew it," I jumped out of bed, grabbed the pillow to stop her from stabbing me. The pillow case tore apart and pillow fluff was everywhere. She was now slouching over the bed, unmoved. I took the opportunity, grabbed my bags and clothes and ran out. Every step I made was another throb to my head. I was running barefoot. The black figure chased me, and no one else seemed to notice its presence except me. I ran towards the flight of stairs.

I foolishly ran up, I kept running and it kept chasing until I reached the rooftop where I closed the door and barricaded it with a piece of wood to keep the door from opening. My efforts were futile as the figure dissolved into a black mist, seeping through the gaps of the door. I was out of breath at that point, I was trapped, and there wasn't anywhere else for me to run unless... I jump off.

Lo and behold, Kakashi came in perfect timing. As the mist began to take form, he immediately showed up, and teleported us somewhere else. "What was that?! Why was it chasing me?!" I asked him.

I almost died twice.
