Chapter 1 : The Next Invitation
A Simple Afternoon in the middle of summer in Ninjago City, where a young red spiky haired boy is walking along the streets, It was Charlie Smith, the Elemental Master of Amber, and son of Kai Smith and Skylor Chen, as well as the little brother of the Master of Fire, his big sister Felicia, Charlie was also the nephew of Nya Smith and Jay Walker, the masters of Water and Lightning, and the cousin of their kids Nina and Eric, who inherited their parents' elemental powers, the same Charlie and Felicia did with their parents, Charlie was also the grandson of Kai and Nya's parents, Ray and Maya, who Kai and Nya got their powers from, but there was still one more family member they kept forgetting, Charlie's grandfather, Master Chen, the father of Skylor, and sensei of Lord Garmadon, the thoughts of Master Chen keep coming into Charlie's mind, considering he was the reason Ninjago's emperor, Lloyd Garmadon was even born, not to mention his history with the elemental masters brought Kai and Skylor together, and even helped Kai and Nya get their parents back from The Hands of Time, but what Charlie fears, is that souls and spirits have escaped the Cursed and Departed Realms before, who's to say, that it won't happen again, especially with Master Chen . . . .
Charlie was walking towards Master Chen's Noodle House, which his mother Skylor was in charge of, since his sister was with their cousins, and his father was working, he knew his mother was on break at the noodle house and wanted to see her, Sure, the boy was only 7 years old, but he knew quite a bit of his own way around Ninjago City, and there's always more about that boy than what meets his eye, and his friends have proven that . . .
Charlie : Nice to see that a few of my favorite places in Ninjago City never change.
Skylor : Charlie is that you?
Charlie : Hi Mom.
Skylor : what are you doing down here?
Charlie : Felicia is over playing with Nina and Eric, and I knew Dad was working, so I wanted to see you, since I knew it was your break.
Skylor : that's nice son, but you need to remember not to simply walk around Ninjago City by yourself, especially around the Noodle House, can't tell you how many times I have had to stop food fights in here.
Charlie : Like when Mr. Cole was here with Siddie and somebody grabbed a cake off the conveyor and hit him in the face with it.
Skylor : Perfect example.
Charlie : and that's not the only reason I came down here.
Skylor : why else did you come down here then?
Charlie : I can't seem to ever stop having dreams or thoughts about my grandfather.
Skylor : my father, Master Chen?
Charlie : yes, I told Xavier and Nina about how many times I keep getting the same thoughts or dreams, they actually starting telling me that it might be a vision.
Skylor : I don't know how that's possible your grandfather's spirit was cursed before being sent to the Departed Realm.
Charlie : But haven't souls and spirits escaped from the Cursed and Departed Realms before?
Skylor : yea, they have, it's almost 6:00 though, I could just tell the other's to come to the noodle house and eat, since it's obvious it isn't gonna get any less crowded in this place.
Charlie : yea, that's true.
Charlie : I just hope these dreams or visions don't become a reality, or else nothing but chaos may be among us all.
Skylor : I doubt it will come to that son.
About 30 Minutes later Jay and Nya arrived at the Noodle House with their kids, Nina and Eric.
Nya : Hey Skylor, Hi Charlie.
Skylor : Hey there Nya.
Charlie : Hi
Nina : what are you doing down here Charlie?
Charlie : ehh, Felicia said she was going to play with you guys, and I knew Dad was working, so I came down here to see my mother, is that a problem.
Jay : Charlie, I thought we all told you not to wander around Ninjago City by yourself.
Charlie : Hey, I know i'm only 7 years old, but I know my way around the City, I can walk around here by myself and avoid problems.
Eric : If you say so, I'm not gonna take any chances.
Nina : Me neither.
Nya : I wouldn't have either of you take a chance anyways, no way I'm losing you two.
Jay : Where is Felicia anyways?
Nya : Come to think of it about 5 minutes before we got here, I saw her walking away, though I have no clue where she went.
Skylor : Oh good lord . . .
Jay : don't worry Skylor, i'm sure she's fine
About another 10 minutes Later, Kai arrived at the Noodle House with his parents, Maya and Ray.
Kai : Hey Guys, got Skylor's text about meeting down here at the Noodle House.
Skylor : yea because it's obvious it won't get any less crowded in here.
Ray : I can see that.
Maya : what the heck is Ronin doing over there?
Skylor : that's definitely Strike 3.
Skylor and the others walk over to the far side of the noodle house where Ronin is arguing with Dareth
Skylor : Okay boys, what's going on over here?
Ronin : I leave the table for 5 minutes and this brown ninja bozo takes an entire plate of fortune cookies and I'm sure he plans to run out the door with them.
Charlie : Really Uncle Dareth? after everything we did to get you back into shape, your starting the cycle all over again.
Dareth : No, I am not!
Kai : Shake him Jay.
Jay : with pleasure.
Jay then shakes Dareth violently and about 10 or 11 fortune cookies fall onto the ground.
Maya : oh yea, you aren't starting over all right.
Dareth : Hey!
Skylor : don't hey anybody Dareth, your banned from the noodle house until i'm certain you won't try smuggling food again.
Dareth : but, oh come on!
Charlie : Out!
Dareth : Fine!
Just then as he was about to walk out, a bunch of thugs break through the door and shove Dareth out the entrance they came in, and it looked like they weren't there to play nice.
Nina : Okay don't look now, but we got trouble approaching
Kai : Where on earth is Felicia?
Then everybody realized, come to think of it, nobody had seen Felicia since Nya and Jay left their house.
Jay : wait a second Kai, look at the one with the weird sunglasses.
The lead thug takes the sunglasses off and reveals himself.
Kai : Eyezor?
Nya : How is that possbile.
Just then, they grab the cashier and throw him into the conveyor controls, blocking the food from getting to the Customers.
Ronin : Okay now they are our problem.
They all Go towards the Eyezor and his thugs and begin trash talking, just as Cole walks in with his wife Opal, and his daughter Siddie.
Cole : Excuse Me? it isn't polite to be touching other people's food.
Siddie : I would listen to my daddy if I were you, he's not fun being around when he's hangry, and neither am I.
Eyezor : Yea well I didn't come to play nicely.
Eyezor, then whistles and about 10 more thugs show up inside the Noodle House.
Eyezor : Destroy them!
Skylor : I kept you thugs out of the house once, I can do it again, get him!
Over the next 5 Minutes, Kai, Skylor, Nya, Jay, Cole, Ray, and Maya, began attacking the thugs while the kids were watching, but as Eyezor took the noodle house's money and tried to make a run for it, Charlie chased him and began attacking him out back.
Charlie : Hand the money over, and get outta here, before I make you regret it.
Eyezor : What good can a little red haired 7 year old boy do to me?
Charlie then ignites his powers and the only thing Eyezor can see is Fire and Water coming out of Charlie's hands.
Charlie : do you want to find out?
Eyezor : Yes.
For another 5 minutes Charlie was fighting Eyezor while the adults were still taking care of the thugs inside the Noodle House.
Charlie : Will admit, your quick for a one-eyed weirdo.
Eyezor : your gonna eat those insults!
Charlie then tackles Eyezor punches him in the face about 6 times and takes the money bag, before Eyezor pulls down a rope that revealed a picture of Charlie's sister Felicia, and then Nina, Eric, and Siddie ran outside to help Charlie. just as Eyezor was on a rooftop and was about to run.
Eyezor : Prepare yourself young Master of Amber, because the next Chapter in all of your family's lives, will not have a happy ending.
Eyezor then runs away from the scene, with Charlie looking at the picture of his sister and the note from Eyezor, and the fortune cookies, which confused the rest of Charlie's friends.
Nina : we should tell our parents about this.
Siddie : Let's look at the weird note first, then the fortune cookies, because their still busy in there with the stupid thugs.
Charlie : I think those thugs weren't delivering a message to the Noodle House. . . .
Nina : huh?
Eric : what do you mean Charlie?
Charlie : I think Eyezor was delivering a message to Me!
About 2 Minutes later, their parents were almost done with the thugs and Charlie and his friends began looking at the fortune cookies and the note.
Charlie : Okay, let's see what this note says, "an Old enemy of your father's has returned, my young elemental master of amber, and he has invited you to participate in his Tournament of Elements, your big sister has already accepted and left for an island of the coast of Ninjago, the decision to accept now comes to your friends, look at the fortune cookies for more information, but heed this warning, you will regret it, if you don't accept it."
Siddie : Creepy
Eric : Might as well take a look.
The kids then each take one of the fortune cookies and opens them to read the fortune inside them, except for Siddie who just eats the Cookie whole while the others stare at her.
Charlie : You know there's a fortune, inside the cookie right.
Siddie : oh so that's why they are called that, I thought it meant it was supposed to bring good luck if you ate them.
Nina : That makes no sense.
Eric : Look at this, this old friend has invited you all to the 2.0 version of the Tournament of Elements which will be streamed across all of Ninjago on live television.
Nina : This is a unique opportunity for you and your fellow Young Ninjas, tell none of your allies or parents, or you will all suffer the consequences, your young friends Xavier Borg and Princess Lydia are invited as well, tell them of their invite, but do not speak of any to their guardians.
Charlie : and to Charlie Smith, if you ever want to see your big sister again, meet at the dock at midnight, tell nobody of your intention, and leave all of your weapons and clues to your location or motive behind.
Just then the Fortunes start disappearing by making tiny explosions, while Siddie's cookie did while it was inside her stomach.
Siddie : *burps, well at least I know I was invited
Siddie, Nina, Eric, and Charlie : *Laughs*
Nina : You guys don't think . . .
Eric : This could all be nothing but one massive trap, or lie, to lure us onto that Island.
Charlie : and what if it's not, Eyezor was cursed as well, and if he's here, there's no doubt my grandfather is as well, and if he has my sister, then our only option is to tell Xavier and Lydia, and head for the dock, and make sure our parents don't know.
Siddie : but we have to do all that in less than 5 hours.
Charlie : well it's better that than no time at all.
Just then, the table were the Cookies were had also disappeared, along with the picture of Felicia, but Charlie still had the note, and Charlie put the Note into his coat, so his parents wouldn't see it and their parents came outside and saw the kids.
Cole : what are you kids doing back here?
For a split minute, the kids said nothing and stared at their parents, before Nina told them what happened with Eyezor.
Nina : uh, Charlie attacked Eyezor and got the money back, but he ran away and told us he would return for it.
Jay : Okay then?
Kai : Something tells me there's a bigger picture here than money, if Eyezor brought this many idiots to the Noodle House.
Charlie : well there's nothing left to do now. so we should probably find Felicia and go home.
Skylor : Yea, the people have left the noodle the house, now that the food fight is over, so I can close the place up.
Nya : alright kids, let's go
just then as Skylor closed the noodle house, Zane, Pixal, Lloyd, and Harumi, showed up with Xavier and Princess Lydia
Charlie then whispers to his friends : Perfect, we can use this moment as a chance to tell them what happened, but don't let our parents hear it.
Nina : understood.
Lloyd : what happened here?
Nya : Thugs showed up and attacked the Noodle House, that's what happened.
Harumi : are you guys okay?
Skylor : Yea, but i'm gonna have to close the Noodle House for a few days and clean that mess up.
Kai : I can help you with that Skylor, I don't want you to have to clean that entire mess up on your own.
Skylor : Thanks, Kai.
Princess Lydia : Hi Guys.
Eric : Hey Lydia.
Xavier : I am detecting nervousness in you guys.
Nina : what is there for us to be nervous about?
Princess Lydia : The Noodle House?
Charlie : eh, from the way my mother tells me about it, it seems to happen a lot more than you think, right mom?
Skylor : the thugs, no, the food fights yes.
The adults then laughed at the joke, and Nina remembers they have to tell Xavier and Princess Lydia about Chen without their parents noticing.
Nina : Hey Mom, can we talk to Xavier and Lydia for a minute.
Nya : yea go ahead kids, there's nothing wrong with talking to your friends
Over the Next Minute, the adults starting chatting with each other, and told the kids they had about 5 minutes to talk, before they would head back home.
Princess Lydia : So what do you guys want to talk about?
Eric : we don't know how to tell you this but all we can say is our lives are in danger.
Xavier : What?
Nina : Master Chen is back, he's escaped from the Departed Realm.
Xavier : If this is a prank my friends. it isn't funny.
Siddie : It's not a prank Xavier, were telling the truth, and he took Felicia.
Princess Lydia : are you guys really telling us the truth?
Charlie : yes we are Lydia,look at this note, that weird thug Eyezor gave me.
Charlie then hands the note to Xavier and Lydia.
Princess Lydia : woah.
Charlie : read what it says, but quietly, we aren't allowed to tell our parents.
Xavier : an Old enemy of your father's has returned, my young elemental master of amber, and he has invited you to participate in his Tournament of Elements, your big sister has already accepted and left for Chen's island, the decision to accept now comes to your friends, look at the fortune cookies for more information, but heed this warning, you will regret it, if you don't accept it.
Nina : and the Fortune Cookies told us we would suffer the consequences if our parents found out.
Eric : and that we were supposed to tell you guys you were invited as well.
Siddie : and If Charlie ever wants to see his sister again, we need to meet at the dock at midnight, tell nobody of our intention, and leave all of our weapons and clues to our location or motive behind.
Princess Lydia : as in like Midnight, tonight?
Charlie : Yes, we gotta all head home, sneak out at about 11:00, then head for the docks without our parents noticing, if they do, it's over . . . for all of us.
Xavier : well I'm in, I'm not losing one of my best friends to the man who captured my father.
Princess Lydia : are you sure about this Charlie?
Charlie : yes, and if he ever thinks of laying a hand on you Lydia, I will be with you, every step of the way there and back.
Princess Lydia : Okay, I'm in . . .
Xavier : here's the note back, I think the most logical choice is to keep it on your person at all times until we reach the Island.
Nina : agreed.
Charlie : I will make sure to.
Just then the adults finished talking and told the kids it was time to head home
Pixal : alright kids, let's go we need to head home.
Charlie : but what about my sister?
Kai : were gonna look for her, son, but were taking you kids home first.
Charlie : alright Dad, but i'm scared, I don't want to lose her.
Kai : you won't, I promise
Charlie then quickly whispered to his friends : Remember, at 11:00 sneak out and head for the docks, and leave no clue to our location behind, understand?
Princess Lydia : we understand Charlie, we will see you at the docks.
Charlie : alright, see you in a few hours.
Around 10:45, at Kai and Skylor's house, Charlie still wasn't asleep, and Felicia was still missing, just as Kai was going to come into Charlie's room to tell him that they were going to Ninjago City to search for Felicia, Charlie stopped him and asked him an important question.
Kai : Okay son, your mother and I are going straight for Ninjago City to find your sister, just go to sleep, and if you hear anybody knock on the door, Do not answer it.
Charlie : Okay, I won't
Kai : Alright, we'll see you in a while.
Charlie : wait, Dad.
Kai : Yea?
Charlie : Is it possible at all for old enemies to escape the Cursed or Departed Realms?
Kai : I would say no but it actually is possible, from the moment after Chen was defeated and Morro escaped, to the Day of the Departed when Sensei Yang opened a rift to the Departed Realm that allowed all of our old villains to escape.
Kai : Wait? why would you ask me that?
Charlie : No reason, It was a random thought I had on my mind.
Skylor calls from the hallway : Kai come on we need to go find her!
Kai : I'm Coming! just go to sleep and we'll see you in the morning okay?
Charlie then hugs his father and let's him go to Skylor.
Charlie : alright, bye Dad.
about 5 minutes after he left, Charlie noticed something under his bed, it was what seemed like a ninja suit, similar to the ones he had seen his father wore before he retired from his ninja days, Charlie was positive the suit came from Chen, but he didn't care, as he took a few minutes to try the suit on, and he thought it was awesome, it was what seemed like a mix of his father's and Lloyd's avatar suits from when they were inside the Prime Empire, because it had the cool clothing with the snake symbol on it like Kai's and it had the ninja's cloth used for covering his face as a disguise like Lloyd's, Charlie checked the time and noticed it was 11:08, so he sneaked out of the house, and started running for the docks, but in his haste he dropped the note, and when he looked back, he saw Kai heading back inside for something, so he knew he had no other options but continue moving for the docks, since he had less than an hour to get to the port side of Ninjago City.
Just as Charlie had gotten away from his house, Kai entered his room and saw Charlie was gone, but there was a weird note on the ground, along with Charlie's clothes, so he grabbed the note and read it, because he knew Skylor was probably almost in Ninjago City by now.
Kai : what the heck is this thing, and why did my son have it? "an Old enemy of your father's has returned, my young elemental master of amber, and he has invited you to participate in his Tournament of Elements, your big sister has already accepted and left for an island of the coast of Ninjago, the decision to accept now comes to your friends, look at the fortune cookies for more information, but heed this warning, you will regret it, if you don't accept it.
Kai then looked at the note, and Charlie's clothes, when he realized what had happened, and why Charlie asked about the Departed Realm.
Kai : Chen . . !
In Ninjago City, near the docks, it was 11:48, and Charlie's friends were already at the dock, though most of them almost got caught by their parents as they tried to sneak out of their homes, and as Charlie got closer, he noticed the kids were wearing ninja suits as well, similar to the one's their parents had, except they all had the face masks like the tournament robes had, but the suits themselves were different.
Nina's was similar to Jay's from Season 7 but had the metal arm like his robes from Seasons 1-2.
Eric's was similar to Nya's from Season 11.
Xavier's was similar to Zane's from Season 7.
Siddie's was similar to Cole's from Season 11 but had the extra armor like Nya's from Season 8.
and Princess Lydia's was much like Lloyd's from Season 11, but had a few plates of extra armor on the arms and legs like his robes from Season 9.
Charlie then arrived at the docks, and noticed his friend's suits and told them they were cool.
Eric : I know right! no idea where they came from though.
Charlie : I'm guessing it was my grandfather, all I know is that if he really is back, he isn't gonna do anything until he gets what he want.
Nina : True, but right now i'm not complaining, the ninja suits are awesome, now were just like our parents.
Princess Lydia : The Tournament of Elements, you really think all these people have powers like us?
Charlie : Makes sense, the ninja had their kids, I don't see why the rest of the Elemental Masters wouldn't have, and I actually know one of them.
Siddie : Really? who?
Charlie : That young 8 year old man standing over there, with the gray and olive green robes, his name is Richard, I met him at Stixx Village when my mom made a mistake on making a day where people could come and get sushi for free, I kept his life a secret though, because he told me he was the Master of Wind.
Eric : as in like the son of Morro?
Charlie : yes, and if you think of bringing this up to him, you will you keep your mouth shut.
Princess Lydia : It's 11:55, I can see the ferry coming this way.
Charlie : Yea, I don't care what we have to do, I just want to get my sister back.
Nina : and we want our cousin back.
Eric : Yea!
Princess Lydia : can you please not yell Eric, we don't need all eyes on us.
Just then the ferry docks in front of the elemental masters, and Charlie sports Eyezor, and he can see Clouse next to him, telling Chen that the kids were at the port, and no sign of the Ninja.
Charlie : There's Eyezor and Clouse.
Princess Lydia : Clouse? as in Master Chen's right hand man?
Charlie : Yes, let's go we need to get my sister back.
Clouse : watch your step young ninjas.
Just then when Charlie thought they were all in the Clear, Kai started walking up from behind them, wearing his Dragon Masters robes, which did not appear in the show, but as a minifigure but that didn't make them any less cool, it was a mix of the Original and the Hunted Robes.
Kai : Charlie, wait!
Charlie quickly turned around to see his father coming up to him and the kids.
Kai : Son, if you get onto that ship, you may never come back.
Charlie : Dad, what are you doing here?
Kai : I should be asking you kids the same question.
just as Kai showed the note to Charlie, which explains how Kai found them so easily.
Charlie : I knew I should have given it to Xavier.
Clouse : well, well, well, Master Kai, it's been a while, still rocking the odd red ninja robes I see.
Kai : Eyezor, Clouse, I see my father in-law still has you running all his errands.
Eric and Nina noticed Kai showed up at the docks and asked what he was doing there.
Eric : uncle Kai?
Nina : what are you doing here?
Kai : telling you kids, your making a huge mistake, you can't trust Chen will give you guys Felicia when this is over.
Clouse then throws a Crate at Kai to get him to stop talking.
Clouse : Shut up!
Charlie : Dad, this has to be done, it's about Felicia, My sister Felicia, and if were gonna get her back I need to go after Chen.
Eyezor : Last call young child, you in or out?
Kai : alright if I can't change your mind from making this sort of mistakes I made, but I'm letting you go alone.
Clouse : No room left on the ship master of fire.
Kai : No Room? you wanna play that card again magic man?
Kai then does a back flip and uses his powers to blow 2 goons off the ship and lands perfectly fine.
Eyezor : well we stand corrected, we got room on the ship now.
Kai : yea well even If i'm competing then It's not the reason i'm here, it's too look at for what matters to me the most.
Kai then decided to kneel down and hug his son, before his niece of nephew ran up to him and hugged him as well, and Clouse and Eyezor told them to ship out for Chen's Island.
Charlie : Thank you, Dad, and I will say your suit is amazing.
Kai : you can thank me when this is all over, and thanks for that, I never really wore my Dragon Masters suit before, but since I knew what you kids were gonna walk into, I figured I would use the opportunity.
Princess Lydia : and you know them, you said their names were Eyezor and Clouse.
Kai : Eyezor is pretty much the leader of Chen's thugs in Ninjago City, and Clouse, whatever you kids do, don't get fooled by that odd attire of his, he is a master of dark magic arts, as well as Master Chen's right hand man.
Siddie : my daddy told me Master Chen's right hand man was an egg roll and fried rice.
Kai : And much like you kids, when I was on this boat heading to Chen's Island for the first Tournament of Elements, Garmadon told me about the original Elemental Masters.
Charlie : Original Elemental Masters? who were they, Dad?
Kai : The First Spinjitzu Masters guardians, each with a elemental power that has been passed down through generations, kind of my own and my sister's had we got them from our parents, and Felicia and Eric got them from us.
Nina : What about the rest of our parents?
Kai : Zane's still remains a blank thought in my mind, Cole and Lloyd got their powers from their grandfathers, Jay's came from his birth mother, and like I said, Nya and I got ours from our parents.
Charlie : and what about Mom?
Kai : she got her's from her mother Charlie, but that's all Chen dared to tell me, in his act to steal all elemental powers to suit his own purposes, he had done nothing but slowly reveal his entire plan to us all.
Suddenly, Charlie's friend Richard came over and started talking to him.
Richard : Hey Charlie!
Charlie : Oh, hi Richard, my father was just telling us about the Elemental Masters.
Kai : and Charlie, who is this?
Charlie : my friend Richard, I met him at the Stixx Village after mom made a mistake of trying to have one entire day where sushi was free at the noodle house.
Kai : I know that last part, that day was nothing but madness.
Kai : If Richard is here then he has to be an elemental master, so what element is his?
Charlie : If he tells you, you need to promise not to try to attack him.
Kai : alright, but what is it?
Richard : Wind. . . .
Kai : wait, What . . .?!
Charlie : he said wind, Richard is son the Morro, who escaped from once again being banished to the Departed Realm after saving Cole on the Day of the Departed, the reason none of you saw him, was because he jumped through the rift with Cole, as it exploded, and he remained in hiding since.
Richard : well at least until one year ago, he died when an earthquake underwater hit the village, leveling almost half of it, forty people had died that day, my parents included, I was living among nothing but depression in a lost world after that day.
Eric : So your saying your a guttersnipe?
Princess Lydia : Eric!
Siddie : Nimrod.
Kai : I am sorry for your loss.
Richard : Thanks, though I have a feeling I may lose my life soon as well if Master Chen wins this time.
Kai : he didn't win this battle once before, I highly doubt he will succeed at it if he continues making the same mistakes again.
Richard : If I may ask, what you all doing here Charlie?
Charlie : Master Chen captured my Sister, and I will not rest at anything until I get her back.
Kai : I just hope that soon the rest realize all of us are missing and help us find her, because the longer were on that island, the more Chen grows in power, and soon he may too strong for all of us combined to overcome.
Charlie : will it really come to that Dad?
Kai : Not if you show your grandfather what true power and love of the elemental masters, really comes from.
Charlie : I will be sure to.
Kai : I hope so, considering much fighting I did myself, and the rest of your parents did, you kids have yet to unlock your true potentials, even if you have inherited our powers.
Eric : True potentials?
Nina : I remember our parents telling us about that.
Kai : There is always one thing that holds all of you back from your true potential in being a ninja let alone an elemental master.
Charlie : what were yours?
Kai : Zane's was finding out and accepting who he truly was, Jay's was overcoming his fear of Nya's reaction and telling her how he truly felt about her, Cole's was his relationship with his father holding him back, fearing he wouldn't accept who he truly was, Nya's was overcoming her fear of failing, and Mine was discovering what my true purpose was as a ninja, and to stand by that purpose for as long as I walked down that path.
Kai : and the same things, similar things, that held them back, may present themselves to you, you just need to find to way to overcome it.
Princess Lydia : understood, and Charlie, if what you meant Is true that you would always stand beside me in my fear of Master Chen until we get home, then I thank you.
Charlie : Of course, Lydia
Charlie the hugs Lydia but what the others didn't notice was that Princess Lydia actually kissed him on the cheek, giving Charlie nothing but joy that he realized at that moment, how much he had feelings for the Princess.
The kids then split up to talk to the other elemental masters, and while Charlie had a minute, Kai pulled him aside and talked to him.

Kai : Charlie, it's okay, how you feel about Lydia is how I felt about Skylor when I first laid eyes on her, and if Princess Lydia actually kissed you, she feels the same way, but listen to me when I tell you this, do not let anything distract you from the real reason were here . . . to get Felicia back.
Charlie : I will make sure I don't get distracted.
Kai : Good because one thing all of you kids need to remember is to act with honor.
Just then a girl with huge metal hands was walking towards Siddie and grabbing her.
Richard : well maybe that honor means something to me.
the girl was the elemental master of Metal, Kayla, the daughter of Karlof.
Siddie : It's okay Richard I don't need your help I can handle myself.
Kayla : well this isn't his business, I'm only Cold and I want her suit.
Richard : well It looks like your mittens are big enough already, so why don't you leave the girl alone?
Siddie : Richard . . .
Kayla : well these aren't mittens, these are for crushing the ninja.
Richard : big words for a lady who has as much Metal on her hands, as well as her mouth.
Kai : Save it for the tournament Richard . . .
Kayla : are you thinking that i'm not smart?
Richard : nah, you don't that much do you?
Kayla then punches Richard far on the deck of the ferry, and asks if she still isn't smart, with Kai holding the kids back from her.
Kai : Hey, Richard started this fight, he will finish it.
Richard then started using his powers and blew Kayla across the ship, and it lasted for about 4 minute before Clouse told them to stop it.
Clouse : That's enough!
Kayla then got off of Richard and walked away.
Richard then got up and went to help Siddie off the floor.
Siddie : Thanks for that just now, it was noble.
Richard : Of course, you didn't deserve that.
Siddie then smiled at Richard and appeared to have liked his actions, as well as his looks, before Charlie told them they were approaching the island, they both walked over to the edge of the ship, when Siddie decided to hold Richard's hand for helping her.
Clouse : and we are here, Welcome everybody to Chen's Island!
Nina : Felicia is on that island somewhere, so everybody keep an eye out, mission is simple the second we find Felicia we get off this island.
Charlie : No, a true ninja let alone elemental master doesn't run and save themselves, If were really gonna dare to call ourselves ninjas, when we find my sister, we save everybody from this Island.
Kai : wise words son, wise words . . .
Clouse : Master Chen, Kai has returned, and he said he will be looking after what matters the most to him . . .
Master Chen : Interesting, and I believe you still worry too much Clouse, everything will work out wait and see . . .
Meanwhile in Chen's Prisons beneath the Island.
Master Chen : I have every single Element, needed for my true plan.
Chen then walks away laughing in an evil tone, while inside the Cell, reveals a young 8 year old girl, in a red ninja suit, similar to Kai's from Season 11, and she opens her eyes, with nothing but flames inside of them, meaning Felicia was still alive . . .
