A different Kind of reunion
thane & shepard - adept sniper, had a relationship with kaidan, colonist + sole surivivor
(garrus punches Kaidan)
„What was that for?" asked the human while rubing his jaw.
Garrus looked at Kaidan with cold eyes making sure he understood. "That was for Horizon." He growled.
„I already apopogised!" Kadian groused at the angry turian.
"You alkready apologised?!" the sniper took a menacing step toward the botic "You broke her!" he yelled "She never smiled after that stunt you pulled" then he sighted and murmured "Thank the spirits for Thane"
"What do you mean?" asked Kaidan as a cold dread started to fill him.
"For a while she was suicidal, cared for her safety even less than before. You broke her and you left me to pick up the pieces...and I did, and then Tali did along with me" drawing a deep breath to calm his anger he continued „She was like a ghost. The first real smile, in months, that I saw on her was the night she met Thane. It all changed when she met Thane, he glued the pieces together" murmured the angry turian. Kaidan was pale. He realised that he hurt her badly. He was just begining to understand how badly. Shaking his head he asked one more question "Who's Thane?"
Garrus let a rumble of laughter that intensified the longer he looked at the shoked and bewildered human.
"Thane Krios...he's a drell and I'm not going to tell you anything else except that you should probably stay out of his way. You do not want to know what he did to the last man who hurt her. And he only hurt her body." Garrus shudered trying to disloge the memory. "Ask Liara or Hacket if you want more information about him" (and about what he did, remained unsaid). „Word to the wise, Kaidan: do anything even remotely close to what you did to her and I can promise you that nobody will be able to stop him to come after you. Not even I could, if I wanted."
Whith that Garrus turned his back to the shoked human and smiled to himself. If he was smart enough, he will grovel at her feeet, because if Thane ever found out that he hurt his mate there's no telling what the assassin might do. He was frightfully efficient and while calm and colected he could and would explode into willfull violence if anybody threatened those he cared about. Looking over his shoulder he saw that the biotic hasn't moved yet. "Oh and Kaidan? Avoid Tali." He seemed to think for a while and then smirked "Or not, your choice" he chuckled thinking about the fiery quarian. He did not even issue a warining about Jack. That human mess was volatile at the best of times but mess around with her ‚sister' and you were dead. Still somehow he had an instinct that warning Kaidan against her would be bad. He always listened to his instincts. It was what drew him into every imaginable mess and what kept him alive trough said messes. He had a feeling that Jack and Kaidan...well he shok his head, he'll let those two work out their isues at their own pace. For now he had an energetic little quarian to get to.
