AJ's p.o.v

Well here we go. Senior year of high school. Finally! Ugh. Im sleepy. But i did have the most amazing summer though. Working, spending money, and sleeping late. After taking care of my business in the bathroom i put on a Superman shirt and jeans my converse shoes. I head downstairs and see my parents. My mom is eating cereal and my dad is eating toast and having coffee.

Let me take you to the beginning. I used to have a girlfriend. But i broke up with her because I felt like she wasn't giving me enough attention. And i wanted all her attention. Sure, call me selfish. But she gave more attention to her friends than me. And thats horse poop.

Anyhow, i smile at my parents. Im also adopted. My dad works in real estate and my mom is a chef at a 5-star Italian restaurant. So yes. Her cooking is amazing! Hehe.

"Hey mom. Hey dad". I say to my parents.

"Hi sweetie!" Says my mom.

"Hey sport". Says my dad. "You're in your final year of high school. Are you excited?!" He said all happily.

"Yeah! I even know what i wanna do after I graduate high school". I said.

"Yeah?" My mom said. "What's that?".

"A career in comics". I said as I smiled.

My dad's eyes got wide. "Wow! Comics eh? Thats wonderful!" My dad smiled.

My parents have always been supportive of my love for comic books. Thats the industry I wanna get into.

"Yeah. You know how much i loove comics haha". I said.

"We sure do! Haha". Said my dad.

I put on my backpack and grab my headphones. "Im going to school".

"Have an awesome day dear!" My mom said.

"Have a great day!" My dad said.

"Love you". They both said.

"Love you too!". I said.

I see one of my best friend's car outside. "Senior year of high school! Woooo!" My best friend Joel Yells.

I laughed hard and got into her car. "Hey girlie!".

"Hey!"

She puts on a Fetty Wap song and we drive to school.

-At the school-

"Yo!" Says Joel. "August!".

"Hey ladies!" August yells.

"Hey!" I said to mine and Joel's best friend August.

"What classes do you have?". August asked me.

"Math. Gym. Geography. English then BOCES". I said.

"Sweet!" Said August.

"Hey! We have English and math together!". Said Joel.

"Niiice". I said.

We all head to class and see a different teacher. She smiled. "Hi everyone. My name is Ms. Knight. Im your new math teacher. Your old math teacher has been fired due to a very nasty problem with his student. So he will not be teaching at this school anymore. With that being said, This class will not be difficult. The final exam will be open book and the quizzes will be only 12 questions long. At times I will let you listen to music. So With that said lets get started". She said.

I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. Dear lord she beautiful. Very beautiful.

After class was over Ms. Knight said "Good job everyone. No homework tonight" I pack my bag and she saw me and smiled. "You in the Blue shirt. What's your name?". She asked.

"AJ". I said.

"AJ", she said" "I know you dont think so. But you are beautiful. And I definitely wanna get to know you".

I stood there in somewhere silence. "Th-thanks. I think? Haha"

She giggled. "I'll write you a late pass. Let me give you my number too".

I smiled. "Okay".

After my first day of school and BOCES (Im taking a class on writing and marketing comics) I see my sister on the phone arguing with her boyfriend. I roll my eyes. You heard it right. Her boyfriend is a bum. He's already gotten 3 women pregnant.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I like women. My parents come home a couple hourd later.

"Mom. Dad. I have something I wanna tell you". I said.

"What is it?". My dad asked.

"Imalesbianandimsorry!". I say quickly.

"Oh, AJ. I love you no matter who you like". Said my dad.

I smiled. And my mom gave me a hug. "What's her name?".

"Its my English teacher. Ms. Knight".

"Ooohh!". Said my parents. "Have any good pick up lines?". My dad asked.

"Yeah. Hey baby let me sing you a song!" I said.

Both my parents laughed.

"What?". I Said as I laughed.

-At Paige's apartment-

"Im just gonna pick up my things". Her ex girlfriend said.

"Good". Said Paige.

"Can we be friends? Maybe friends with benefits?". She asked.

"Get out!". Paige yelled.

From paige: Hey AJ. Got time to talk?

From AJ: yeah. Wassup?

From Paige: Lets hangout sometime. Maybe see a movie?

From AJ: Okay :)
