Paige's p.o.v.
Im so, so, so glad I made a friend. Her name is AJ. And she's beautiful. I dont know what it is about her. Must be het charm Im liking. But either way Im excited to hangout with her. On my way to work I put on freshNclean by Fetty Wap and drive to work. I see her walking with her headphones on and I smile.
Ok Paige. You can . You got this. Here we go.
"AJ!".
She looked to her left and saw me. "Hey Ms. Knight!". She said.
"Hi! Call me Paige"
"What up?". AJ said.
"Need a ride?". I ask.
"Yeah". Said AJ.
She opened the car door and put her bag on the floor and got in. "Thanks" .
I smiled at her warmly. "Anytime".
The car ride was silent. Not silent awkwardness but silence in a comfortable way.
"I like your car". Said AJ.
"Thank you". I said.
"What if people see us?". AJ asked. "What will we tell them?".
"We'll tell them I gave you a ride, no problem". I said.
AJ smiled. "You know I, uh, I like the music. Fetty wap is awesome".
I giggled. "He is. His music got me through the toughest times in my life"
"Same here". Said AJ.
I pull up at the high school and park in my parking spot. "We're here".
"Yay!". Said AJ.
I laughed and opened the car door for her. "Oh, thank you". Said AJ. She didnt notice but i could see her hand wanting to hold mine in the car. Its something smooth and soothing that she wants to hold my hand.
I love it.
"Want me to .you class? Even though we're going the same way". I said.
AJ smiled. "Yeah. Sure".
I smiled. "Great!".
Everyone looked at us and waved. I guess I've become the favorite teacher around here. I think? I guess? I dont really know but hey...im not complaining one bit. Haha.
"Morning everyone" i said.
"Hey guys" Said AJ.
During class I write a note to AJ that reads this:
Hi AJ, lets get lunch today? I can pick you up. Wait for you even.
She wrote back. WAIT! She wrote back! Wooooo.
She wrote: Yeah :) I'll text you..
I can't our lunch date!
