I woke up with white webbing covering me as I heard dwarves dropping. I felt myself fall to the ground. I pulled a dagger out and sliced my way out of it. I stood up as the dwarves broke free.
"Celeste." Dwalin said, coming over.
"Stop. I'm fine." I said. Dwalin pulled me into a hug as we looked around
"Where's Bilbo?" Bofur asked. I noticed he wasn't among us.
"Bilbo!" We yell.
"I'm up here." Bilbo yelled. I look up and see a spider jump at Bilbo from underneath the branch he was standing on and knock him down. We make a run for it. Spiders surround us and I pull out my sword as we fight against them. I stab one in the mouth. I pull my sword out as one knocks Bombur to the ground nad tries to bite him.
"Grab a leg." Dwalin called. I ran over with the dwarves and grab a leg. "Pull." I pull on the legs right off its body and it fell. I pulled out my bow and started shooting spiders. One grabs Kili.
"Kili." Fili and I yell. We manage to kill the spider and free him. Dwalin grabbed my hand and we ran through the forest. More spiders jump down on threads of silk in front of the dwarves. I grabbed Dwalin's arm as we got ready to fight. Thorin looks up as a blonde elf runs through the treetops. He swings down a spider's silk in order to land on a spider and kill it. He slides on the forest floor and flip up pointing an arrow right at Thorin. Elves surround us pointing arrows. Dwalin pulled me close growling.
"Do not think I won't kill you dwarf. It would be my pleasure." The blonde elf said. I look around to see us outnumbered.
"Help!" Kili yelled.
"Kili!" Fili yelled. A fight was heard and Kili was brought back by a red head elf.
"Search them." The blonde ordered. I was pulled from Dwalin as the dwarves were serched
"This is a girl and she's not a dwarf!" An elf said. The blonde and red head came up to me.
"A prisoner of the dwarves?" The red head asked.
"No she has braids in her head with the marks of dwarves on them, but yet she is not a dwarf." The blonde said.
"If you must know. I'm a fairy." I said. The two elves shared looks. The blonde moves away.
"I'll need your weapons. I'm Tauriel." Tauriel said. I pulled my weapons off and hand them to me.
"Celeste. Please. Let me keep my daggers they are made by my kin." I ask. Tauriel shook her head no and I hand over the daggers. The elves blocked me from going back to the dwarves as the two elves talk. Dwalin didn't look pleased as I press my lips together. Legolas is handed Thorin's sword and he inspects it. He spoke in elvish.
"Where did you get this?" The blonde asked.
"It was given to me." Thorin said. The elves had to grab me from attacking the blonde as he points the sword at Thorin.
"Not just a thief but a lear as well." The blonde said.
"He's not a thief. You thick headed elf." I said. The blonde looked at me as the dwarves smile.
"And you been with the dwarves for to long if your sounding like them. Take them!" Legolas ordered. We were lead away. I pulled my arms free from the elves to walk on my own.
"Thorin. Celeste. Where's Bilbo?" Bofur asked. Thorin and I look around but we didn't see Bilbo. We were led over a bridge and into the Woodland Realm. We were lead through the raised wooden walkways. I lookd around. The entire palace seemed to be built out of tree roots in a cavern. The elves grab me and Thorin and seperate us from the Company.
"Celeste!" Dwalin yelled.
"The king wants to see you two." The blonde said. I looked at Dwalin as we were led away from the Company.
Dwalin's POV. I was shoved in a cell as others were shoved in other cells.
"This is not the end of it! You hear me?" I yell, coming to the bars.
"Let us out of here!" Gloin yell.
"Get off me!" Dori said. I start slamming my body against the cell door. I heard others joining me. I had to get out to get to Celeste. I didn't trust the elven king.
"Leave it! There's no way out. This no Orc dungeon, these are halls of the Woodland Realm. No one leaves here but by the king's consent." Balin yelled. I punched the wall. "Calm down brother. She is strong willed. I don't think the king will harm her."
"I hope your right." I growl.
Thorin and I were brought before King Thranduil. Thorin was pulled forward first. I stood between the two elves. The king circled Thorin.
"Some may imagine that a noble quest is at hand. A quest to reclaim a homeland and slay a dragon. I myself suspect a more prosaic motive. Attempted burglary, or something of that ilk." Thranduil said. He looked closely at Thorin. "You have found a way in. You seek that which would bestow upon you the right to rule: The King's Jewel, the Arkenstone. It is precious to you beyond measure. I understand that. There are gems in the mountain that I too desire. White gems of pure starlight. I offer my help. I raise and eyebrow as Thorin smirks at the King.
"I am listening." Thorin said.
"I will let you go, if you but return what is mine." Thranduil said. Thorin turns and walks away slowly. He looks at me as I give him a smile.
"A favor for a favor." Thorin said.
"You have my word. One king to another." Thranduil said. Thorin stops walking.
"I would not trust Thranduil, the great king, to honor his word should the end of all days be upon us!" Thorin said. His voice gets louder as he speaks. Thorin turns and points at Thranduil. "You lack all honor! I've seen how you treat your friends! We came to you once, starving, homeless, seeking your help, but you turned your back. You turned away from the suffering of my people and the inferno that destroyed us." He spoke is dwarvish and I understood it perfectly. "Die a death of flames!" I held back a laugh. Thanduil moves forward fast and puts his face right in front of Thorin's.
"Do not talk to me of dragon fire. I know its wrath and ruin. I have faced the great serpents of the north." Thranduil said. His face contorts. I gasp. His face was covered with burs and scars. His left eye was milky and unseeing. I put a hand to my mouth. He draws away and it turns back to normal. "I warned your grandfather of what his greed would summon, but he would not listen. You are just like him." He motions and guards grab Thorin and haul him away. "Stay here if you will, and rot. A hundred years is a mere blink in the life of an elf. I am patient. I can wait." The guards pull me foward.
Thorin's POV. I was thrown in a cell. Balin comes to his bars.
"Did he offer you a deal?" Balin asked.
"He did. I told him he could go" Thorin said. Then in dwarvish, "I spit upon your grave! Him and all his kin!" Balin closes his eyes and sighs in fustration.
"Well that's it, then. A deal was our only hope." Balin said
"Not our only hope." I said knowing Bilbo was somewhere.
"What about Celeste?" Dwalin asked. He was worried. I could hear it in his voice.
"The King wants to talk to her as well." I siad. Dwalin growled.
Celeste's POV. I stood in front of Thranduil. He looked me over.
"So you are a fairy. I was surprised to hear from Legolas that he and Tauriel found you in the woods. Why are you with the dwarves." Thranduil asked.
"They took me in when my people were slaughtered by Azog and my home was destroyed. Why are you keeping me from my family and friends." I said.
"I wanted to talk. I will let you and your friends go if you can get the jewels for me." Thranduil said. I laughed.
"You really think I will turn on the one family I have left. You elves are thick headed and no I will not turn on them." I said. Thranduil moved his hand and Tauriel came.
"Take her to one of the guest rooms. She will not be joining the dwarves." Thranduil said.
"Wait no." I said.
"Take her." Thranduil said. Tauriel took my arm and led me to the guest room and pushed me in. I turned and tried to open the door. Locked. I press my forehead against the door. I saw a balcony and step over to it. I was to far up to jump and I didn't want to leave the dwarves and Dwalin with the elves. I saw Erebor in the distance. We were so close. There has to be a way out of the Woodland Realm.
AN: New chapter. I know. I know. She is seperated from Dwalin. Till next time
