The One Who Survived
Hope and Syaoran made it back to the greenhouse to meet the ghost, which Hope thinks, is the daughter of the family.
Syaoran found blueprints dating closer to recent times and that the dad was still alive this whole time. He build his three children a memorial or resting place or something.
Hopefully, they'll get some answers from the little girl.
Entering the greenhouse there was some humming echoing through the greenhouse.
Hope recognized it as, "It's Anja. Is that...Dance All nite?" She asked loudly.
Suddenly it stopped.
In a blink there was a glowing girl standing in front of them.
"How do you know? And what are you doing back here?" She asked in a sassy way.
Hope wanted to snap as well, but she held back. "I'm Hope. And this is my sister's friend, Syaoran. We...are here to see your house. Or...was." She said.
The little girl didn't look pleased.
"We want to help your mother. Put this...demon back where it came from." Syaoran said.
The little girl frowned.
"Syaoran!"
"That is why were here NOW!" He shouted.
"I'm called Ana. I asked my dad for my own greenhouse like this one. But I died before he could really build one. The retailers built this one. And a mini scale of a lighthouse and observatory." She explained.
"Your dad never build these?" Syaoran asked.
She shook her head. "Nope. The other people did. No way would my dad build anything after his death." She said.
"Your dad is dead then?" Syaoran asked sadly.
"Yup. I'm the only survivor." She said.
"Wait. How?"
"Because my brothers found the stone. This glowing stone. They thought it be funny to make dad think it was a ritual thing. But then, our mother got in the way. Before we knew it, our father was sucked in, our mother dead from the blast, I hid out here. Before it was a greenhouse it was a mini girls fort. My brothers went somewhere. If the demon thing as you call it, didn't kill them too." She said.
"What? You survived. And you don't know...that thing is possessing your mother's dead body." Syaoran said.
The little girl didn't look to not care at all.
"How did you die?" Hope asked.
The girl shrugged. "I went back for the stone, next thing, I hid it and became a ghost. No body nothing. The police found my brothers. No sign of me, my mom, or my dad." She said.
"I don't understand."
"What about the lighthouse and-"
"Those were just pictures. Other families that went there. Our dad refused to go anywhere with us. Said we'd be too much trouble." She explained.
"Then...these are fake?" Hope watched as she nodded. How could there be fake photos of them in the house. Or was it the demon's work?
"I'm sorry to not have been much help. But please get OUT of my home now." She demanded.
Hope and Syaoran left and the doors closed behind them.
"What now?"
