A knock on the door woke us up.
"Dwalin. I know your in there. We have to be going soon." Balin said. I sigh as I kiss Dwalin's check and get up.
"We will be down shortly." I said. Balin left.
"We were suppose to share a room, but I ended up here." Dwalin said. I smile as I lean into him and give him a kiss.
"But it was a good night." I said, earning a chuckle from Dwalin. I pull on the brown dress as Dwalin got dressed. I grabbed my weapons.
"Where will ye stay?" Dwalin asked as he pulled on his boots.
"Bard. He seemed to like me more then you dwarves. Besides. I got a soft spot for his children." I said. Dwalin came over and took my face in his hands.
"Maybe soon as we reclaim the mountain we can better court and eventually marry and have some children." Dwalin said. I smile at him.
"I would like that." I said. Dwalin kissed me. We head down the stairs. Guards were waiting with armor and weapons. Dwalin let my hand go and went to get his armor. Thorin came over.
"You not getting armor?" Thorin asked.
"Dwalin asked me to stay behind so he knew I was safe and I agreed." I said. Thorin nodded.
"Join us as soon as the dragon is defeated. I'll have one of the dwarves with Dwalin come get you." Thorin said. I hugged him. Dwalin came back dressed in armor. I look at him.
"You look good." I said. Dwalin gave me a smile. We walk through the crowd heading towards a boat. I was coming to see them off.
"You do know we're one dwarf short. Where's Bofur?" Bilbo asked.
"If he's not here, we leave him behind." Thorin said.
"We have to, if we're to find the door before nightfall. We can risk no more delays." Balin said. The boat was loaded with supplies. Dwalin pulled me off to the side.
"I'll come find you when the dragon is down." Dwalin said, pulling me into a hug.
"I know you will. Stay safe." I said. Dwalin pressed a kiss to my forehead and got in the boat. Thorin stopped Kili from getting in the boat.
"Not you. We must travel with speed, you will slow us down." Thorin said. Kili smiles thinking Thorin was joking and I knew Thorin wasn't.
"What are you talking about? I'm coming with you." Kili said. I come up to Kili.
"No." Thorin said. Fili turns and looks at Thorin and Kili.
"I'm going to be there when that door is opened, when we first look upon the halls of our fathers, Thorin." Kili said.
"Kili." I said.
"Kili, stay here. Rest. Join us when you're healed with Celeste." Thorin said, laying a hand on Kili's shoulder. I brought him to sit down.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"Its fine." Kili said. I knew he was hurt and betrayed. Oin joins us and starts looking at the leg.
"Uncle, we grew up on tales of the mountain. Tales you told us. You can't take that away from him!" Fili said. Kili tries pushing Oin away.
"Fili." Thorin said.
"I will carry him, if I must." Fili said. I watch the two.
"One day you will be king, and you will understand. I cannot risk the fate of this quest for the sake of one dwarf, not even my own kin." Thorin said. Fili looked at Kili then steps out of the boat. Thorin tries to stop him.
"Fili, don't be a fool. You belong with the Company." Thorin said. Fili pulled his arm free.
"I belong with my brother." Fili said, joining us. The musicians of Laketown play their Instruments as the Master climbs up to the raised platform. I pay attention to Kili, who was more paler then normal. The boat pulls away and we watch it go.
"Stay safe." I whisper. Bofur comes out of the crowd and sighs. He spots us.
"Ah. So you missed the boat as well?" Bofur said. Kili moans in pain and falls over. Fili and I catch him.
"Kili!" I said.
"Kili? Kili!" Fili said. We went through the town trying to find someone to help, but we couldn't find anyone. Not even the Master would help.
"Bard." I said.
"What?" Fili asked.
"He will help us. Please. He's our only hope if no one will help." I said. The dwarves nod. Fili and Oin were supporting Kili as I led them to Bard's. I knock. Bard opened the door to find us.
"No. I'm done with dwarves. Go away." Bard said, trying to close the door. I quickly stop him.
"Bard. Please help us. No one will help us. Kili's sick. He's very sick." I plead. Bard looks at Kili. Bofur was behind them.
"Come in." Bard said. We entered. The dwarves put Kili on the table as I grabbed hot water in a bowl and rags. Bofur came and helped me. We brought it over. I unbandaged his leg and almost gagged. Black ooze was coming out of the leg. Kili was screaming in pain as I tried healing it, but nothing was working.
"Its something my healing powers can't, cause its so advanced." I said. I look at Fili. "I'm sorry."
"Its fine" Fili said. Kili was moaning in pain. His face was covered in sweat. "Can you don anything, Oin?"
"I need herbs, something to bring down his fever." Oin said. Bard searches through his bag of medicine.
"I have nightshade, feverfew." Bard said.
"They're no use to me. Do you have Kingsfoil?" Oin asked.
"No, it's a weed. We feed it to the pigs." Bard said.
"Bofur." I said.
"I'm on it. Pigs. Weed? Right." Bofur said. He points at Kili.
"Don't move." Bofur said.
"Go!" I yell. Kili runs out. I pull my courting braid as the girls start making food. I dab a cloth against Kili's head. I needed something to distract me. I was worried about the Company and Dwalin.
"You alright?" Fili asked.
"Just worried for our friends." I saisd.
"I'm sure they are fine. Stop worrying." Fili said. I smile. The house suddenly shakes and dust falls from the ceiling. Fili and I share worried looks.
"Da?" Sigrid asked.
"It's coming from the Mountain." Bain said. Fili jumps up and approaches Bard. I follow quickly.
"You have to leave us. Take your children. Get out of here." Fili said.
"And go where? There is nowhere to go." Bard said.
"And we can't move Kili." I said. Fili nodded.
"Are we going to die, Da?" Tilda asked.
"No, darling." Bard said.
"The dragon, it's going to kill us." Tilda said. I go over and hug her. She returned the hug. Bard looks at the kids worriedly, giving me a thankful smile. He reaches up and pulls a black arrow down. We look at it in shock.
"Not if I kill it first." Bard said. Bard and Bain disappeared. Sigrid hands out food for us as we wait for Bofur. I play with my courting braid after I ate. It seemed to calm my worry. I smile as the memory from the night before with Dwalin came in.
"Your kind of in a better mood." Fili said.
"Just a memory." I said. Sigrid stepped outside.
"Least a good one." Fili said. A scream comes and I grab my sword as Sigrid slams the door shut. Fili was on his feet as a sword stops the door from shutting.
"Orcs." I said as the orc bursts in. Sigrid falls backward onto the table bench. Fili yells and slams the orc into the wall. I grab Tilda and Sigrid and shove them under the table. "Stay there!" I order and the girls hug. An orc falls through the roof and I stab it in the chest. I toss one of my daggers at one that charged me. An orc flips the table and the girls scream. I grab a heavy pot and slam it hard in the head before it hurt the girls. An orc came to the door but was stabbed and Tauriel enters starting to kill dwarves. I grab the girls and push them to the ground as Legolas jumps through the hole in the ceiling. Fili forces Bain down.
"Get down!" Fili said as more orcs run in. I heard Kili yell and see an orc grab him by the wounded leg.
"Kili!" I run and stab the orc before he could kill Kili. He collapses to the ground in pain. I fell to my knees next to him as he is crying in pain. "Oh Kili." He was tossing and turning from the pain. I look up to see all the orcs dead. Bain looks at Tauriel.
"You killed them all." Bain said. I look at Fili as he joins me.
"He's getting worse. Where's Bofur?" I said, in tears.
"There are others. Tauriel come." Legolas said, walking towards the door. I saw her look at Kili. Oin looks him over.
"We're loosing him." Oin siad. Tauriel looked shock.
"Tauriel please. Help him." I said, knowing elvish medicine was well advanced.
"Tauriel." Legolas said. She follows. I look down as tears came down my checks, fearing I was gonna loose a dwarf that was like a brother to me. Tauriel comes in with Bofur.
"Get him on the table." Tauriel ordered. She held the Kingsfoil in her hand. I stand up and let Fili, Oin, and Bofur pick up a moaning Kili and lay him on the table as Tauriel washes and tears apart the Kingsfoil in a tub of water Tilda held.
"Hold him down." Tauriel said. I grab his injured leg as Fili and Oin hold his shoulders. We watch as Tauriel closes her eyes and spoke in Elvish while she kneads the soaked Kingsfoil in her hand and presses it to Kili's wound. Kili screams and thrashes in pain.
"Tilda. Sigrid." I call. Sigrid and Tilda jump to hold down the other leg as she repeats wha she saying. I watched in amazement at what Tauriel was doing. Oin and Fili watched as Kili calmed down. He stares at her with glassy eyes. I sigh in relief as I lean back against the pillar. He was saved. Oin and Fili went to the kitchen and watch a pot boil. I came in to get something to drink as Tauriel binds Kili's leg.
"I've heard tell the wonders of elvish medicine. That was a privilege to witness." Oin said. Fili and I nodded in agreement. I saw Kili talk to Tauriel and entwines his fingers with Tauriel's. I smile. He loved her.
Dwalin's POV. We stood behind the statue waiting for Thorin's orders as the dragon turned to head towards Laketown as we held the chain.
"Here, you witless worm!" Thorin yelled.
"You." Smaug said.
"I'm taking back what you stole." Thorin said.
"You would take nothing from me, Dwarf. I laid low your warriors of old. I instilled terror in the hearts of men. I am King under the Mountain." Smaug said.
"THis is not your kingdom. These are dwarf lands, this is dwarf gold, and we will have our revenge." Thorin said. Thorin gives the order and we pull the chains releasing pins. We watch as the stone gave and a golden statue of Thror stood. Smaug looks at the golden statue which was larger then him in awe and desire. He approaches it with his mouth open slightly in greed. The gold explodes into liquid and the entire statue collapses into liquid. Smaug roars in anger and scrambles backward, but the tidal wave of gold hits him and knocks him over. He disappears under the pool of gold. I share smile with the others. The surface of the gold explodes and Smaug leaps out.
"No." I said as he crawls towards the door.
"Ahh! Revennge?! Revenge! I will show you REVENGE!" Smaug said as he left all covered in gold. Balin grabbed me and so did Gloin.
"NO. Celeste!" I yell as an explosion came as he broke out.
Celeste's POV. We heard the explosion from the mountain and I paled as the house shook. I shared looks with the dwarves as we looked about in fear.
"No." I whisper.
"Smaug. He's coming." Bofur said.
AN: So I end the second movie there. Till next time
