The next day, Bob awoke...inside a tent...next to a sheep. The sheep licked Bob's face, causing him to stumble back a little.

"Wha?" Bob jolted awake once more. "Good morning kids.."

"Mornin', mister Bob!" Laura chirped.

"Good morning Mister Bob!" Annie smiled.

"Mornin', mister Bob!" Junior and Percy yawned.

"We've got to get back to the city.." Bob said. "The others must be waiting for us!"

"Not to worry, Robert!" Utuliva said, arriving in the tent. "I shall be the one to guide you there!"

"Are you sure?" Bob asked.

"I know the savannah here like the back of my hand!" Utuliva proudly exclaimed. "There is but one problem, though..."

"What's that?" Bob asked, he and the rest of the children getting out of the tent.

"This is the time of year when the most tsetse flies gather..." Utuliva gulped.

"Uh, what are tsetse flies?" Bob asked.

The Maasai banana pulled out a toothpick with a disgusting looking fly on the end. The other veggies recoiled in horror.

"Ooookay.." Bob said. "I can see why that sounds bad now."

"Do you always carry that with you?" Laura asked.

"For research, yes." Utuliva said. "And in case foreigners such as yourselves happen to travel here."

"What could that fly possibly do to us?" Percy asked.

"One bite could put anyone into a deep sleep..." Utuliva spoke. "A sleep that could possibly be permanent..."

"Oh, that's a RELIEF!" Percy exclaimed. "I thought one bite would KILL us!"

The veggies continued their trek through Africa, once they got over the Rift Valley, Utuliva paused a moment.

"Uh...Ms. Utuliva?" Junior asked. "What's happening?"

"Oh no." Utuliva said, her eyes growing wide.

Millions upon millions of tsetse flies descended onto the land, covering practically everything in sight.

"QUICKLY!!" Utuliva yelled. "WE MUST TAKE SHELTER OVER HERE!!"

The veggies gathered behind the roots of a massive baobab tree, and the tsetse flies blew right past it, much like a water hose set to 'jet stream'. Eventually, however, they all blew away, and the veggies could come out once again.

"Thanks...Utuliva.." Bob smiled at the banana woman.

"Don't mention it, Robert." She replied. "The city should just be over that hill...let's go."

"Well, THAT was anti-climactic." Percy replied.
