Chapter 3
Anna and Elsa had been searching the secret room all day mainly because they wanted to find which room was their mothers when she first came to the castle but also to see if they could find any other things of their mothers.
"Found it." Anna exclaimed holding a self drawn map of the castle. The map was old and crinkled and looked to be about five seconds away from disintegrated into Anna's hand.
"Well where's her room." Elsa said walking over. "This way!" Anna exclaimed taking off out of the room and racing down the hall. Elsa followed close behind.
"Here." Anna said stopping in front Elsas room. "Mother slept in here." Elsa said opening the door. "I guess it was the room she circled. Anna said pointing at the map.
Elsa and Anna walked in and headed straight for her closet. Elsa opened the doors and looked around, finally after moving around a bunch of dresses she found a small door on the wall.
Elsa quickly opened it to find plenty of their mothers old things. "Her northuldra oufit." Elsa said pulling out the old clothes. "Look it's the book she said father was reading." Anna said grabbing a book with a little mermaid on the front of it.
"All this time mothers past was right under our noses." Elsa giggled pulling out a pair of boots. "I still can't believe she hid these away." Anna said pulling out some weird shaped leaves their mother must had found.
"We should put all this stuff in the secret room." Elsa said gathering it in her arms. "Yeah." Anna agreed follwing Elsa our the door. The two girls neatly and gently place their mothers stuff down then closed the door and left.
"I have the perfect place to read mothers journal." Elsa said winking at her sister. "Where?" Anna asked follwing her sister. "You'll see." Elsa smirked grabbing the journal.
Anna followed Elsa all the way until they reached their mother and fathers statue. "You're right perfect place to read." Anna said sitting down. Elsa say down and smiled she put the journal in between them and started reading.
"Dear Journal, wow it's been a long time since I wrote that. I'm eighteen now and well I still haven't told Agnarr about my past. Nothing big has happened but Northuldra is still banned here I had to hide my old clothes so no one would recognize them.
The only thing I'm allowed to keep is my scarf, I wear everyday now. I miss mother more and more but it's not like I can go see her the fog that covers the forest makes it impossible to enter I've already tried once.
Now to comfort myself I sing a lullaby mother used to sing, the message is kind of dark though. Anyways Agnarr has been a great king now that he's nineteen I think understands it better.
But I've decided tomorrow I'm going to tell him no matter what happens, I've got to anyways we are dating anyways."
"Next page go, go." Anna said nudging her sister. "Ok Anna ok." Elsa laughed turning the page.
"Dear Journal, I told him I just told him I needed to tell him about my past and he listened. He knows I saved him now and he knows I'm Northuldra, he's promised to keep it a secret.
I feel like a new person I mean I'm practically royal now. The kingdom is throwing a ball so Agnarr can chose a wife.
He's told me multiple times not to worry but I still do what if he meets someone who is royal and much more prettier than me.
I try not to think about it, Agnarr has demanded they let me attend so now I've been going to fittings for a dress. It's a lovely dress it's blue and gold and just amazing.
Tomorrow's the ball so I have to head to sleep but I'll write tomorrow if anything happens.
"Wait what if he doesn't pick mother, what if that's why I have blonde hair and you have red what if we're actually..." Elsa began to say. Anna looked up her face pale. At the same time both the girls both muttered words that made cringe.
"Step sisters." The girls said feeling awful. "No he obviously chose mother because other wise I wouldn't have my ice powers." Elsa said standing up. "I guess your right." Anna said dusting off her dress.
"I'm exhausted we'll read more in the morning ok." Elsa said yawning. "Ok." Anna smiled the two sisters walked home together holding hands the whole way.
