The world seemed to stop. I opened my eyes and found myself in unfamiliar dwarven halls. It was like a temple. I look around.
"Am I dead?" I whisper to myself.
"No my child." A voice said. It was deep and rough. I turn my head and see a dwarf sitting on a throne.
"Who are you? Where am I?" I ask.
"I'm the creater of dwarves. I've been watching ye since you were born. Ye were meant to change fate. And the dwarves consider ye family now." The dwarf said. I fall to my knees.
"Mahal." I said. I bow. "It's an honor. Am I still falling?" I ask.
"You are but while yer here. Time has stopped. Ye can still save the Line of Durin. The brothers are saved because of ye. Ye can still save Thorin." Mahah said, coming over. He pulls me to my feet.
"I don't have my wings." I said, looking up at him. "How can I save my father?" Mahal chuckled.
"Ye are a strong willed girl. Ye are the last of your people, but that doesn't stop ye from living. I will give ye yer wings back and tie yer life force with yer ones. He will live as long as ye. All the company will be blessed with long life. So ye don't have to loose anyone. Now time to wake up, lass and end this war." Mahal said, kissing my forehead. A flash of light engulfed me.
I open my eyes as the ground came close to me and I felt wings pop out. I caught air and brought myself up over the cliff. I twirled in happieness.
"Thank you Mahal." I whisper. I turn and saw Thorin laying on his back about to be stabbed by Azog. I flew towards Azog and used air to shove Azog off Thorin. Azog hit the ice as Thorin turned. I spun in the air and flew towards Thorin.
"Thorin!" I yell. He reached up and I grabbed his arms. He was heavy and I struggled a bit.
"How?" Thorin asked.
"I'll explain later. Let's end this. Together" I said. Azog stands as I flew his way. I dropped Thorin and he falls landing on Azog putting his sword through Azog's chest. I land on the ground, pushing my long red hair out of my face. Thorin came up to me.
"Celeste. I'm sorry if I wasn't myself when I banished you. Your more then welcome to stay in Erebor with Dwalin and be my adoptive daughter." Thorin said. I throw my arms around his neck and hug him.
"Thank you father." I said. Eagle screeches came. We look up to see eagles flying towards the orcs coming from the North. Beorn jumped off the eagle and turned into his bear form and takes out the orcs.
"We won." Thorin said.
"We did." I said. Footsteps came and we turn to see the Company standing there. Dwalin pushed his way to the front of the dwarves.
"Celeste?" Dwalin said.
"Go." Thorin said. I run towards Dwalin and throw my arms around him. He pulled me into a kiss as we hugged. Fili and Kili ran by and hug Thorin.
"Lass. You got your wings!" Bofur said.
"How?" Dwalin asked.
"Mahal. He's been watching me. He blessed me with my wings back and all the Company with long life so I don't have to loose any of you, less you die by a mortal injury." I said. Dwalin chuckled as he pressed his head against mine.
"Thank Mahal." Dwalin said. I run to Fili and Kili and we hugged. We head over to the cliff and look out towards Erebor. Fili and Kili stood on either side of Thorin. I stood next to Fili with Dwalin at my side. Cheers came from the dwarves and men. The elves stood like statues. Dwalin wrapped his arm around me and I lay my head on his shoulder. The war was won. Azog was dead and Erebor was reclaimed. I look up at Dwalin as he looked at me. We smile. Our future was bright and we can enjoy it together.
AN: I thought I would try something new. Hope you liked. They all survived. I cried with the three death scenes. Till next time!
