It was a month later since Erebor was rebuilt. The Ironfoot still stayed to get affairs in order. I was in the library when I could to read the books and learn more of the history on the dwarves and home before Dwalin got home to make dinner for me and Dwalin. Sometimes Thorin, Fili, and Kili came over for supper. It was nice to have family together.
I hadn't been feeling good for a week. The smell of food just made me sick and I couldn't hold down food. I could see worry written on Dwalin's face. I tried to be sick when he was with Thorin. I hated seeing him worry.
"Lass. Yer going to see Oin." Dwalin said as I came out of the bathroom. He made breakfast and it sent me running for the bathroom. I ran a hand through my long red hair.
"I'm fine, Dwalin." I said. Dwalin came up to me and took me in his arms.
"Ye been sick with this for a good while. Just talk to Oin for me." Dwalin said. I nodd.
"I promise I will." I said. Dwalin kissed my forehead.
"The dwarves from Erid Luin should be here today." Dwalin said.
"It will be nice to see Dis and Dana." I said as Dwalin got ready for a meeting with Thorin. Dwalin left and I flew off to go to the healing quarters where Oin was. I came in and worked if they needed me. Oin was happy to have my help.
"I wasn't expecting you to be here, lass. Is something wrong?" Oin asked as he came over with his ear trumpet in.
"I haven't been feeling well and getting very tired lately. I just came to see if something is wrong." I said.
"Lay on the bed, lass and we can see what is wrong." Oin said. Oin asked questions as he looked me over. I had my hand behind my head as I answered them and Oin nodded. He finished his examination and smiled. "Congradulations, lass. Your with child."
"What?" I ask.
"You seem to be couple months along. So probably during the quest. We all were waiting for this moment, but thought it would be awhile. Dwalin will be happy." Oin said. I sat up and smiled. With child? This was good news and first baby born after Erebor was reclaimed another fairy even if the baby was half fairy, half dwarf.
"Thanks Oin." I said, kissing his check. I flew off.
"Celeste!" Fili called, running towards me. I land in front of him.
"What is it?" I ask.
"The dwarves are here from Erid Luin." Fili said. I grinned and we raced towards the front gate where Thorin and Dwalin were already waiting. I land next to Dwalin.
"Everything alright?" Dwalin asked.
"I talked to Oin. I'll talk to ye later tonight. I promise." I said. Dwalin nodded as the dwarves of Erid Luin came towards the gate.
"Mum!" Fili and Kili yelled, running towards Dis.
"Oh my boys." Dis said, as they engulfed her in a hug. I flew over. "Celeste. You got your wings!"
"It's a long story." I said. Fili pulled me into the hug.
"So what did I miss besides Celeste getting her wings back?" Dis asked as we head into Erebor.
"Well. Celeste and Dwalin are married now." Kili said.
"Kili!" I said.
"Well about time. You two been dancing around each other since you joined us. I'm happy." Dis said. I smile as Dwalin and Thorin came up and Dis hugged Thorin. "Gad to see you are not under the sickness."
"He was, but we got him out of it." I said.
"Good." Dis said. Dwalin wrapped an arm around me and pulled me close to his side.
"Where are we doing the crowning?" I ask
"Tonight." Thorin said. I smile as the dwarves go to get things ready. I just hoped I could hold my food down. Dis pulled me to the side as we walked.
"Your glowing." Dis said.
"I don't know what your talking about." I said.
"And your cheerful. What aren't you saying?" Dis said. I turned to her.
"I just found out I'm with child." I said. Dis hugged me.
"I am so happy for you, Celeste. This quest was worth it." Dis said. I nod. "Have you told Dwalin?" I shook my head.
"I planned to tell him tonight after the crowning." I said.
"I won't say anything." Dis said.
Later that night. I stood with the Company as Thorin stood in front of Gandalf with Fili and Kili at his side and Dwalin standing near. I smile as the crown was placed on Thorin's head. After 60 years of not having a King Under the Mountain. Erebor finally had a King.
"Now count the days of the King!" Thorin said. The dwarves cheer Dis was crying. Thorin turned and we bow. The party was at full swing. Ale was passed around and I avoided it. I ate with holding food down. Thorin and Dwalin were talking as I stood with Dis and Dana talking. Gimli was staying close to Fili and Kili. He looked up to the brothers a lot.
"Should tell him soon." Dis said.
"I plan to." I said. Dis chuckled. Dwalin looked at me and I smile at him. Dwalin came over.
"Ready to go home?" Dwalin asked. I nod.
"I am." I said. Dwalin takes my arm gently and we head towards our quarters. Dwalin got a fire started as I stand in the kitchen getting some tea.
"So what did Oin say?" Dwalin asked, coming over and wrapping his arms around me. I turn in his arms and wrap my arms around his neck.
"Well we are going to have to make a nursery soon." I said.
"Are you?" Dwalin said with eyes wide.
"I am with child." I said. Dwalin swung me around and kissed me.
"Ye make me the happiest dwarf right now." Dwalin said. I smile as we kiss, knowing we had a good future.
