Epilogue Good Years

It had been a good 10 years. Dwalin and I were happily married and had our hands full with three girls. The look on Dwalin's face when he found out we had all girls was worth it. Caliphe was 9, Lily was 7, and Fawn was 4. They had a mixture of both dwarf and fairy in them and had their father and many uncles and Grandfather wrapped around their fingers. They looked a lot like both me and Dwalin. I taught them the fairy history as Balin and Thorin taught them the dwarf history. Kili and Tauriel were married to Thorin's hesitation but Dis and I talked to him. Fili was still looking for his one, but he was in no rush. Erebor was sure a peaceful life.

"Mama! Lily took my sword!" Caliphe said. The girls fought like dwarves for sure and had the stuburness of dwarves.

"NO! It's mine!" Lily said, flying into the kitchen with Caliphe flying after her. Fawn was the only one that didn't get wings, so we knew she was more dwarf. Fawn ran after them. Dis and I stood talking.

"Lily. That's Caliphe's sword. Give it back to her." I said.

"Yes mama." Lily said, handing back the sword. Caliphe grinned and flew off. "Hey wait." Lily flew after her. Fawn hugged my legs and I bend down and pick her up.

"I thought Fili and Kili were bad with mischief but your two older girls are defently like them." Dis said with a smile.

"It gets worse when their father gets home. He should be home soon." I said. Dis chuckled as Fawn reached for her and she gladly took her. The door opened and the girls scream of joy came.

"PAPA!" The girls yelled.

"Looks like he is home." Dis said as she set Fawn down. Fawn ran out in the parlor and I follow my daugther out to see Dwalin holding the two girls and Fawn hugging his leg.

"Driving yer mama up the wall today?" Dwalin asked with a chuckle.

"To an extent. Could be worse. They could be all boys." I said. Dwalin kissed his daughters on the foreheads and set them down, giving Fawn a huge hug. I came over as the girls went and sat on the floor to play the toys that Bofur and Bifur made for them. Caliphe grabbed a book and sat on the floor reading. Dwalin pulled me to him and kissed me. "Happy your home."

"Glad to be home, love. I miss you and the girls when I am with Thorin." Dwalin said, hugging me close. I hug him as I sigh happily.

Later that night. The girls were in bed. Caliphe was gonna start training with Dwalin, Fili, and Kili with fighting so it was a early morning for her. I came into Dwalin's and my room. Dwalin was laying on the bed with his hands behind his head. I change into my nightgown. I come over and lay down in the bed. He gently reached out and pull me to him. I curl to him.

"Girls are down." I said.

"They are easy." Dwalin said.

"Though they are stubborn as dwarves." I said. Dwalin chuckled and pressed a kiss to my forehead. He pulled me onto his chest. I smiled. I might be the last of the fairies, but I had a family and a home now.

AN: And that's the end. I don't plan a sequel as of now. Go check out my other stories. I have another one planned and might be coming soon. Till next time.
