AN: I know some people are going to hate me for things that occur in this chapter, such as the reason for the title, but I feel the mark will allow me to explain things easier later on. They, however, cannot be seen by anyone who does not have magic in some capacity (so characters like Motohama, Matsuda, the Dursleys can't, however Angels, Devils, Fallen, and Magi can)

October 31, 2008, outside of the Burrow wards
"Hello, could you help me ?" A light brown-haired woman asked as she saw Ron who she had learned would often come down this path muttering about how unfair the world was.
"Um, sure, who are you?" Ron asked before noticing the woman's plunging neckline.
"My name is Katerea, could you come with me to my house, I need help with some broken furniture which I hear you can easily fix," Katerea asked smirking as she noticed where Ron's eyes had gone to.
"Um sure, I don't see why not," Ron said before following her to a small cottage that he had never seen before, which had a lot of broken furniture, which due to his rather small magical reserves would drain him in order to fix them all.
"You see, some bad guys came in and broke almost all of the furniture in my house yesterday and I don't have the money to have them fixed, but then I heard about the great wizard who lived nearby and I thought I might as well ask, I'm sure I will be able to pay you back, somehow," Katerea said pretending to be about to cry.
"Oh, of course, I'll have all of these done in a minute," Ron said before starting to cast the repair charm until all but the last piece was done when he just about collapsed from exhaustion.
"Are you alright Mr. Wizard?" Katerea asked coming into the room wearing just a towel having decided to take a shower while Ron was repairing the furniture.
"Oh, yeah, I am just about done, just need to take a breather," Ron said as he looked at her barely concealed breasts.
"You could touch them if you want, you have done me a huge favor by doing this Mr. Wizard, I do have a question though, would you like to become mine?" Katerea asked softly as she dropped the towel and moved towards Ron her hands clenched.
"Uh, sure, whatever," Ron said as he reached out to her before she wrapped her arms around him.
"I'm glad Magi," Katerea said before she stabbed him in the back, piercing his heart, before stepping away.
"What, why did you just…" Ron faltered as he started to cough up blood.
"On no, Mr. Wizard, my hand must have slipped, I had meant to put the knife on the table behind you, but don't worry, just say you will be mine and I can make it all better," Katerea said her voice becoming cold as she came to an end of her statement.
"Yes, I will be yours in any way," Ron said through coughs of blood.
"Good, Then I welcome you to my Peerage wizard, as a single pawn in the service of Katerea Leviathan, your mistress, to serve however she wants," Katerea said as she pressed a single black pawn into his chest causing the wound to begin to close before she started to laugh.
A month later, the last day of classes before the holidays, that the two instructors had been insistent be taken.
"Hey Ralph, I have a question for you," Harry as he started sparing with the obviously more skilled man.
"Of course, Harry, what is troubling you?" Ralph asked as he continued trading blows with him.
"Well yesterday I was out swimming with my friends, Fred and George, I'm sure you remember them, bright Red hair, always playing pranks," Harry said as he deflected a blow from Ralph.
"Yes, they have come and joined us a few times, said they are considering expanding their joke shop to the regular world, if I recall correctly, so they are taking classes on business management from Mike, once a week, why did something happen to one of them?" Ralph asked, having grown to like the twins, especially since they drove his older brother up the walls when he taught them, which is why he had limited lessons to once a week, so on the off days he could blow off some steam by hunting rogue devils, angels, fallen, or other factions.
"No, it was their brother Ron, he had been one of my best friends until about two years ago, and it got worse after his mother and sister were killed in the final battle, he did not seem to care that Percy and Bill died though," Harry said, saying the last bit like a small afterthought, and getting smacked by Ralph for losing focus
"Focus Harry, otherwise I will stop this lesson," Ralph said coldly as Harry deflected another swing from him
"Sorry, so I was just wondering if you had ever heard of any reason why someone would get a stylized pawn from chess on their shoulder blade, as when we were swimming I saw that Ron had one, and I understand he likes chess and all, but why a pawn, does it mean something," Harry said as he deflected another blow not noticing Ralph's eyes temporarily going wide.
"Did the pawn have any letters on it by chance?" Ralph asked slowly.
"Yeah a K and an L, the L also having what looked like a small whale in the middle, but I just thought they may be the initials of his latest fling," Harry said before Ralph tripped him sending his sprawling to the ground.
"I don't think it means anything, but who knows, you never did explain the tattoo you have on your left arm," Ralph commented about the symbol of the Deathly Hallows.
"Oh well there is a children's story about how death gave these brothers items with the power over death, and that is the symbol that Death gave them to recognize the items, and I like the symbol," Harry said as Ralph helped him to his feet
"Fair, now you have come a long way in the past two months that I have been working with you, while your friends have been left in the dust, which may be in part due to your having your own sword while they don't, but because of this I contacted a mutual friend of ours who agreed to help train you in sword fighting, he just needs the holidays to get some affairs in order, so once you get back you will work two days a week with him on sword fighting," Ralph said as he and Harry got back in position to spar again.
"A mutual friend, Ted?" Harry asked, Ted, having come and spent a good while with the group, working with Shem and Ralph on coming up with laws that Harry, Susan, Daphne, Neville, Luna, and Narcissa could push through the Wizengamont, to bring the magical world up to date with the muggle world, something that Narcissa was originally against until Daphne and Susan dragged her through muggle London and told her all they were learning.
"No, not Ted, I'm not sure if he knows how to use a sword, try again and be aware that the friend is one who only me, you, Mike, and maybe Shem, know," Ralph said as they continued trading blows.
"You can't be meaning Brother Shidou," Harry said in shock, narrowly avoiding a swing from Ralph.
"That is exactly who I am meaning, I met with Touji a few weeks ago and he agreed to come, especially when I mentioned you, as he had been told you had been sent to a school for criminals, which is part of the reason why he moved from Surrey to Cambridge as he felt he had failed you," Ralph said, remembering how the exorcist had reacted when he mentioned Harry Potter, which had given him even more reason to be grateful for Micheal's permission to angelize the man into the seven of clubs.
"Wow, that will be so cool, do you know if Irina will be able to come as well?" Harry asked with shock evident on his face.
"Maybe, but she is currently quite busy in the Vatican from what Touji told me so we shall see," Ralph said as he continued to spar with Harry until he had caused Harry to yield four more times and the headed into the weight room.
"Michael, Leviathan!" Raphael yelled as he entered the Parthenon, and activated a summoning circle to call the Devil Leader, as Michael simply appeared in a flash of light.
"Raphael, what has you so angry, brother?" Michael asked as he saw that Raphael was fuming before Serafall appeared.
"That devil, had one of her servants turn a former close friend of the ward breaker into a pawn," Raphael said coldly.
"Nope, did not happen, I have no peerage members who have their own peerages, and I cannot be held accountable for things that House Sitri did, since I am no longer a Sitri, sadly as it means little Sona does not love me as much anymore," Serafall said sadly.
"Then what would you make of a person having a pawn on their back with the letters K, and L in the pawn the L having a Leviathan in, Leviathan?" Raphael asked coldly.
"K, L?! Okay not okay, can I see if Sirzechs can come, since I only know of one devil outside of myself who can put a Leviathan in a mark, but she was banished to the depths of hell," Serafall said worry evident on her face.
"Call your fellow devil, and then explain," Michael said irritated at the knowledge that a Devil had broken a rule they had just put in place.
"Hello all, what's going on, that you needed me here?" Sirzechs asked as he arrived.
"Katerea, has taken a Magi as a pawn," Serafall said solemnly which shocked Sirzechs as Serafall was normally very bubbly, but on hearing the news he understood.
"Who is this Katerea, exactly, and how would she be able to use the symbol of the Leviathan?" Raphael asked coldly.
"Katerea is the Great-granddaughter of Leviathan who sealed the Dragon with her siblings, before being killed by the son of Lucifer who is sealed with John to keep the Dragon from being freed. She along with the grandsons of Asmodeus and Beelzebub decided that the system that was set up after the last war against the dragon, was wrong and the underworld should be lead by the direct descendants of the original four Satans, the six great-grandson of Lucifer who is bound more recently vanished and we think he may have joined the old Satan faction, which has been the cause of all the civil wars among the devils, and why I am the 8th Lucifer since the last war, Serafall is the 5th Leviathan, Ajuka is the 3rd Beelzebub, and Falbium the 3rd Asmodeus, in part because mine is the position of leader of the Satans, so my position is the most often attacked," Sirzechs said irritably.
"So you mean to say that you killed the previous Lucifer to take his position?" Raphael asked hoping to get Sirzechs to get mad.
"Yes, yes I did, but not for want of power but because I was, and still am, in love with my queen Grayfia, who is the daughter of the former Lucifer, Tisan Lucifuge. However there have been Satans who chose to leave the position, or were killed in other manners, as was the case with Ajuka's predecessor who went hunting and never came back, or the previous Leviathan who died when he thought he could kill Azazel, without his peerage," Sirzechs said not speaking in anger.
"So if I understand correctly, there are rouge devils who want to overthrow the underworld, and who have your symbols, that is just wonderful, especially since one already has a pawn near the ward breaker. Khan be with us. Raphael, I need you to start training the ward breaker even more than ever, but also make sure he and his friends all understand the dangers of speaking to anyone about him being the ward breaker, I do not want him attacked so someone can get him in their peerage, at least until he has had a chance to meet members of every faction," Michael said firmly.
"Of course, it will be easier with having the seven of clubs aiding me," Raphael said calmly and started to head out before Sirzechs spoke again.
"Two points, first would it be a benefit if I talked with Ruval Phenex to see if he would be willing to take turns with his brother in watching the ward breaker?" Sirzechs asked as Serafall and Michael looked at him in confusion.
"Sirzechs, I thought you hated all the Phenex clan outside of Fawkes, why would you offer to have the Phenex heir watch the Ward Breaker," Serafall asked confused.
"I hate Riser Phenex as he thinks he owns my sister upon her 21st birthday which is in two years, Fawkes and Ruval could be twins if they had not been born 25 years apart, they act as one's of their station, respectful of those around them, and their phoenix forms are nearly identical, also Ruval has a full peerage, unlike Riser who is missing two pawns," Sirzechs said calmly.
"May I ask why you want a second devil to watch the ward breaker?" Raphael asked coldly.
"Fawkes recently informed me that while he has no problem watching over the ward breaker when he is not with you or Shemhazai, he does wish he could have more time to be with his peerage since he has been away already for over a century, and unlike his younger brother and some other devils, Fawkes loves every one of his Peerage as either his best friends or his lovers, not as playthings, as Riser feels," Sirzechs said spitting Riser's name out.
"I see no problem with that, as long as he swears on his wings and his peerage not to reveal to anyone who the ward breaker is, nor make the ward breaker a member of his peerage. I believe you had a second point as well," Michael commented impressed to learn that information about the Devil who had shared so much information with them.
"I would ask that Raphael and Shemhazai start encouraging the ward breaker to look into Kuoh Academy, so we can go through the entire admittance process and help him find lodging there, and so you can choose an angel who wishes to be in the town as well," Sirzechs said carefully.
"Funny that, he has already heard of the school and is already considering it since he is already apparently putting $2.5 million a year, which apparently also gives him a cottage, his friends, however, are not sure if they want to go, but he seems to be pretty set on going, which is why Gabriel is also starting to look into the area, and from what Shemhazai had told me Azazel is also starting to explore the region," Raphael said laughing when Sirzech's face changed to one of complete shock.
"The ward breaker is a descendant of Dorea Potter, Kina is going to be ecstatic she was concerned that her friend had died childless, as Dorea was already in her mid-50s when Kina met her, but since you have already gotten that taken care of I suppose we are all good to go," Sirzechs said still in shock.
