Annabeth/Luke
Annabeth and Luke pulled the pearls from their pockets and smashed them on the ground. They were each engulfed by a huge bubble and they floated up and out of the Underworld.
Now
After leaving the Underworld Annabeth and Luke had arrived on a beach. They could see the sun setting and the scene was beautiful. It would have been perfect if not for a certain god of war who popped up behind them.
"Ahem" Ares coughed.
Annabeth spun on her heel and Luke turned round.
"You!" Luke spat, "You traitor! You stole the master bolt!"
"Nah" Ares laughed, "I simply took it from the one who stole it"
"You still betrayed Olympus," Luke exclaimed.
"What you gonna do about it?" Ares rolled his eyes, "It's not like you puny demigods can do anything"
Luke didn't answer but rushed towards Ares with his sword drawn.
"So that's how you want to do it, puny demigod," Ares taunted, easily side-stepping the blow, "Come on then, fight me"
"I'll…defeat…you…traitor!" Luke panted. He threw a fury of blows at Ares but the war god simply dodged them, not even bothering to use the sword which had appeared in his hand. Luke was getting angrier and his swings were getting wilder.
"Luke!" Annabeth called, "He's using your anger against you!"
Annabeth's words brought him to his senses and he realised what was happening. The war god was manipulating his emotions, using Luke's own anger against him to make him weaker. Luke forced himself to calm down and attacked again. This time his blows were more precise and Ares had to up his guard. The sound of clashing metal could be heard as Ares raised his weapon and blocked Luke's advances. Ares suddenly went on the offensive, catching Luke of-guard. Luke was forced to bring his blade up to defend, barely managing to match the god.
"Your pathetic" The war god growled, "Is this the best they can send"
With a swift blow Luke's sword was ripped from his hands, it flew from his hands and landed with a plop in the sea. Ares struck Luke with the flat of his blade, causing him to fall to the ground. Ares stood over him smugly, smirking.
"Luke!" Annabeth shrieked, she drew her celestial bronze dagger and stabbed Ares in the back whilst he was distracted. Ichor poured from the wound which quickly healed itself.
"Look what we have here" Ares sneered, "Another weak demigod for me to defeat" He stalked towards her, like a predator.
Ares grinned savagely and his sword morphed into a dagger, similar to Annabeth's one. Annabeth knew there was nothing she could do as the god of was raised the blade and brought it down. The dagger never made contact with her. Instead she heard the clang of metal
She opened her eyes and saw someone she never thought she'd see again. Standing in front of her, wielding Riptide, stood Percy Jackson. Her eyes widened in surprise when an arm grabbed her and dragged her away from the fight.
She turned around to see a girl with caramel coloured hair that was braided over her shoulder and warm dark brown eyes that were almond shaped. The girl was stunning. She looked like a goddess. Her attention was drawn back to the fight and she watched as Percy slowly gained the upper-hand. His teeth were Britten and he was sweating bucketloads.
Her gaze shifted to Luke, who was lying on the sandy floor of the beach. She immediately ran over, digging some ambrosia and nectar out of her backpack. She tended to his wounds and once he had sat up her gaze returned to the fight. Percy had Ares on the ground and Riptide was pointed at his neck. Killing a god wasn't possible but it was possible to scar them permanently.
"Do you yield?" Percy growled.
Ares gaze shifted from Riptide to Percy before settling on Riptide and coming to the decision that loosing his pretty looks want worth it.
"I…yield" The god of war croaked out.
Suddenly there was a bright flash of light and the messenger god, Hermes, appeared.

Percy
Percy and his dad (Tartarus) had stayed up the whole night (he wasn't sure how they measured it as there was no moon) talking and laughing. They had basically had a great time. However, Percy missed his friends so Tartarus said he could go help them as long as he came back afterwards. He had asked what they needed help with and Tartarus had replied that they were fighting the war god, Ares.
Tartarus had told Percy that he could leave whenever he wanted using something called shadow travel. Tartarus explained that a he just needed to imagine a location and he would be there. Percy had pointed out that he didn't know where Luke and Annabeth were so Tartarus showed him the scene of the beach where Luke was sparring with Ares.
Calypso had chosen that moment to walk in on their conversation. She had hastily apologised to Tartarus then turned to Percy and demanded that she come with him. Percy gave Calypso the pearl he had received from the nymph and she smashed it by her feet. Percy quickly said goodbye to his dad and followed Calypso to Luke and Annabeth.
Upon surfacing Percy saw Annabeth before Ares, who was about to strike her down. He quickly dashed towards her whilst uncapping Riptide and raised his blade to block Ares' strike. He saw the look of shock which passed over the war god's face before it morphed into a scowl. He parried and blocked Ares' blows as he saw Calypso pull Annabeth away. He saw Annabeth rushing over to Luke and tending to his wounds through his peripheral vision. He continued to fight Ares as he slowly gained the upper-hand.
The fight went pretty quickly in Percy's opinion and in no time at all he had Ares pinned to the ground and Riptide was at the god's throat.
"Do you yield?" He growled.
"I…yield" Ares grudgingly said.
Just as Ares yielded there was a flash of light and Hermes appeared.

Hermes had, without a word, carted the three demigods (and Ares) of to Olympus. They arrived in the throne room of the gods. The demigods immediately bowed.
"Lord Zeus" Annabeth greeted.
Ares stood in the background, rightfully looking shameful.
"Come forth, brave heroes. Do you have what you were sent to collect?" Zeus said. He said it in a way which meant come over here and give me my bolt and if you don't I'll kill you.
Percy reached a hand into the backpack (which he had picked up as Hermes took them to Olympus) and pulled out Zeus' master bolt. Hades walked out of the shadows and held out his hand, silently asking for his helm of darkness. Percy put his hand into the bag again and pulled out the helm which he then proceeded to hand to Hades.
Zeus nodded approvingly, "Well done heroes, the council thanks you for your help" He turned to his son, "Hermes, take them back to their Camp"
"Yes father" Hermes grabbed the demigods and teleported to the pavilion of Camp Half-Blood, "Don't worry kiddos, Ares will be punished for what he did" He winked and turned to his son, "And Luke, I'm proud of you" With that said he disappeared with a flash and the demigods averted their eyes.
"Children! Your back!" Chiron was cantering up towards them, a warm smile on his face, "How was the quest?" He said, turning to Percy.
"Great, we got the bolt back" Percy ran a hand through his messy hair.
"Wonderful, we'll have a meeting in half an hour to discuss the quest, I expect you all to be present" Chiron looked them over, taking in their dirty and dishevelled appearances, "Now, go get yourselves cleaned up. Report to the big house in 28 minutes"
"Chiron?" Percy cleared his throat, "I need to speak to you. In private" He shot Luke and annabeth an apologetic glance.
"Of course, my boy. Follow me" Chiron led Percy to the Big House.
Once they were in the Big House Percy told Chiron everything. He told Chiron how he had fallen into Tartarus and met Calypso and Damasen. He told Chiron how he had discovered who his dad was and how they had talked. He told Chiron everything.
"Chiron" Percy said once he'd told Chiron about the quest, "I need you to promise not to tell anyone about what happened in Tartarus and who my dad is"
"The gods will want to know everything" Chiron said.
"You can tell the Olympians but you all have to swear on the Styx not to tell anyone else" Percy told Chiron.
"Alright" Chiron sighed, "Where is Calypso?" He looked around, as if expecting her to pop up and announce she was there.
"Calypso!" Percy's eyes widened, "We left her on the beach, I have to go get her"
"How are you planning on doing that?" Chiron questioned.
Percy just grinned and dissolved into shadow. He heard Chiron saying he would 'take care of everything' and to 'be back in ten'.

Annabeth
Annabeth had gone back to her cabin and taken a shower and changed into fresh clothes. It was refreshing to be back at camp with Luke and Percy. Percy. He had come and saved the day with a mysterious girl. Where was the girl anyway? And how did Percy get out of Tartarus? These questions ran through her head and she continued to puzzle over what the answers could be whilst she combed her hair and scraped it back into a ponytail. She had gotten ready in about ten minutes so if she went to the Bi House now she would be early. She decided to go pay Luke a visit.
Annabeth walked out of her cabin and walked over to the Hermes' cabin. Connor and Travis Stoll were outside so she asked them to go see if Luke was ready. Travis went inside and came out with a grinning Luke who's hair was still wet.
"I was wondering if you would like to go for a walk" Annabeth addressed Luke.
"Sure, I mean, we still have roughly fifteen minutes until we have to go to the Big House" Luke followed Annabeth a they walked around camp.
They didn't really do much, they just chatted as they wandered around. They passed the archery range and the climbing wall as they walked through camp. After about ten minutes they started to head up to the big house.
They went straight to the 'meeting room' and took their seats around the ping-pong table. Luke sat in the Hermes' cabin chair whilst Annabeth sat in the Athena one. Percy was already there and was seated next to the mystery girl from the beach. They were chatting avidly together and the girl let out a tinkly laugh.
Over the next few minutes all the councillors arrived until everyone was there. Chiron cleared his throat and started to speak.
"As you all know, Percy, Annabeth and Luke went on a quest to retrieve Zeus' master bolt. They were successful in their mission and have now returned. Now, Percy has already told me what happened on the quest but I would like to invite the three of them to tell you what happened"
Annabeth, Luke and Percy took turns in telling the councillors what happened until they reached the part where Percy fell into Tartarus. The councillors erupted with questions.
"Wait, Prissy fell into Tartarus?" Clarisse exclaimed.
"How'd he get out?" Katie Gardner asked.
Many of the councillors asked questions like that ad Chiron had to tell them all to quiet down, "Percy has told me what happened to him but how about we let Luke and Annabeth tell us what happened to them first"
The councillors muttered quietly in disagreement (they clearly wanted to know what happened to Percy in Tartarus, a place no demigod has ever been) but let Luke and Annabeth continue their story. They told everyone of how they had travelled to Hades' palace. They told them that Ares was the traitor god and that he would be receiving punishment (at which Clarisse looked mortified). After they finished telling their tale everyone looked towards Percy expectantly and he began telling his story.
A/N: Okay, I'm gonna end it of here. I have an idea of what's going to happen next and what I'll be doing for the next quest. I'm going to cut out the quest for the fleece so Thalia won't make an appearance (yet). Hope you enjoyed reading this chapter. Will probably post tomorrow.
