Amanda had waltzed right into Olivia's office. Olivia, of course bustling business with work, didn't have enough time to deal with the blonde's shenanigans. She didn't notice that Amanda was in the office until she heard her office door shut. She looked up from her computer, taking her glasses off. "Yes Rollins, what do you want?" Liv sighed. "Nothing," she said nonchalantly as she sat on the office couch, propping her feet up on the couch. Olivia sighed exasperatedly, getting annoyed. "Rollins, I'm busy here if you can't see that already. What do you want?" "Can't I just sit here and hide away for a bit?" Amanda raised her eyebrow, her voice drawling a bit. "That's what the cribs are for. Now, if you're done playing games, I suggest you get back to work before I suspend you." Liv snapped irritatingly. "Sheesh! Someone needs a night out tossing back a drink or two."
"No Rollins," Liv snapped bitterly once again. "I don't need to toss back a drink or two. I need for you to get out of my office and leave me alone so I can finish my work without distractions." Olivia rubbed her temples. Amanda caved and she strolled towards the door and left, shutting the door quietly. "Finally," Olivia says to herself as she put her glasses back on and went back to doing her paperwork. She checked her phone and then continued to work until it was time to go home. She headed out of the precinct, being the last one to head out for the night. She sighed as she got on the elevator. The drive home was stressful. She couldn't wait to be in her pajamas with a glass of wine alone. Olivia headed upstairs to her apartment and tossed her keys onto the table as she took her jacket and shoes off. She hummed to herself as she headed towards the kitchen for the bottle of wine. She rummaged through the cupboards, looking for her bottle. "Damnit!" She muttered as she realized she forgot she finished the wine last weekend. She gets changed into a pair of jeans and a cute top as she puts her shoes back on, grabbing her jacket and keys, heading to the bar.
As Olivia made her way to the counter, sat down and ordered a glass of wine, Amanda came out of the bathroom and ordered another whisky. Olivia heard the familiar voice and she looked up. "Liv," Amanda said. "Rollins." Even outside of work, that was all Olivia could ever call her. "What are you doing here?" Amanda raised an eyebrow. The bartender set her glass of wine in front of her. "Ran out of wine at home so I came down for a glass of red. Is that a problem?" Olivia raised an eyebrow as she took a sip. "No. It… it's just funny how you said to me that you didn't need a drink. That is what you told me after all," Amanda smirks. Olivia rolled her eyes at Amanda. "Okay, whatever," Liv said mockingly, causing Amanda to almost choke on her whisky as she chuckled. "You should do a shot with me." Amanda said. Olivia looked around. "Who, me?" Olivia asked. "Uh, yeah." Olivia sniggered, "you're joking, right?" "N-no…," Amanda said softly. Amanda ordered two shots of tequila.
The bartender set them down in front of her. "Thank you," Amanda thanked the bartender. The blonde slid a shot over to Olivia. The brunette eyed the drink and then looked up at the blonde. "What the hell?" Liv shook her head as she pushed the shot away from herself. "It's just one fuckin' shot Liv! Let loose and quit actin' like you got a wiffle ball bat up your ass." Amanda insisted as she pushed the shot towards the brunette. Olivia scoffed as she stood up and put money on the counter as she exited the bar. Amanda threw back the shot as she threw money onto the counter. She ran out the door as fast as she could, catching up to Olivia.
"What in the hell do you think you are doing Rollins?" Olivia scolded her. "What the fuck is your problem? We were good for a longass time and all of the sudden I'm not good enough for you. What the hell did I do?" Amanda got angered. Olivia just pushed right past her and went to her apartment. She had no words to say to the young blonde. She didn't need to explain her actions to Amanda at all.
The next day, Amanda came in and apologized to Olivia for her behavior the previous night, and Olivia dismissed her apology. Olivia had told Amanda to shut the office door on her way out. Olivia picked up her phone and made a phone call, then she picked up her coat and gathered her personal belongings. As she headed out, she told Fin to act as commanding leader for the unit until she got back. Fin didn't argue with Liv, but he was concerned. "Olivia, good to see you." A male voice greeted her into his office. "Dr. Lindstrom," Liv started as she walked into his office. "I'm sorry I haven't been attending sessions like I should but I usually don't have any problems except, now I do." Liv took a seat. "Okay, that's fine. That's what I'm here for. Now, tell me what's been going on."
Liv scoffed a chuckle and shrugged. "I don't know what it is…," she trailed off, trying to piece together what to tell him. "Lately… I've just been unsocial. Especially with Amanda." "Now, that's the first time you've called her by her first name." Dr. Lindstrom noted and Olivia felt a blush creep to her face as she realized what Dr. Lindstrom told her. She stutters over her words, trying to say something. "Liv, deep breaths and thoroughly think before you speak. Your state of mind is everywhere since you are jumping to defend what I just said, causing you to stutter. Now, I noticed you blushed when I noted that. What's going on between you and Amanda?"
Liv just shook her head, "um.. She invited me out for drinks with her yesterday and I was just irritated so I told her no. Then when I got home from work, I wanted to drink some wine and I didn't have any and the liquor store was closed so I went to the bar for a glass of red and of course Amanda was there. She hounded me about doing a shot of tequila with her and she stated how rude I was since it was just one shot. I paid for my drink and left." Dr. Lindstrom nodded as he listened. "Well Olivia, do you think that you may be acting out because on some other level you like her?" Olivia rolled her eyes at the statement of her therapist. "That's inappropriate. That would be like if I got into a relationship with you. I'm her boss. I don't play favorites."
"Granted you don't play favorites, but having feelings for someone isn't about favorites at all. It's a chemistry thing." Olivia looked down at her hands. "I think that you're acting out on your feelings for Amanda." Dr. Lindstrom says. "I think our session is over with Dr. Lindstrom." Olivia stood up and walked out the door. She scoffed as she walked out of the building to her car. Liv drove to the bar to have a glass of wine. After three glasses of wine, Olivia decided to have a few shots of tequila. A few rounds of tequila later, she starts causing trouble and the bartender called up someone. "Liv!" Amanda yelled, startling the brunette. "Heyy! Look, it's Mandyyy." Olivia slurred. "My god, how much did you drink?" Amanda was shocked at seeing Olivia like this. "Eeeenoooouuugggghh. Dr. Lindstrom is aaaaa jaaaackaaaaassss," Liv says in a high pitched singsong voice. "Come on. We're going to my house." Amanda helped Olivia stand up and walked her out of the bar. "Where are your car keys?" Amanda asks Olivia. "It's in my pocket in my pants," Liv whispered and giggled. Amanda reaches into Liv's pocket for the keys and Olivia is laughing uncontrollably. "You're in my pants." Amanda chuckled as she helped the drunken Lieutenant in the car. Amanda buckles Liv's seatbelt in for her. "Ooh you're awfully close to me there detective." Liv slurs seductively. "Okay, we need to get you home so you can start sobering up," Amanda says as she gets in the driver's side. Amanda sighs, "the one Friday night I don't drink and I'm called into the bar to pick you up. Surprise, surprise." Amanda says as she pulls into traffic from the curbside heading to her house. Amanda kept glancing over at Olivia, who was now asleep. Amanda slightly smiled at the sight of the brunette. She pulled up to her apartment and hoped that Olivia would wake up. Amanda lightly shut the driver's side door and quickly made her way around the car. She shook Olivia to wake her up. "Mmm, five minutes," Liv mumbled sleepily as she tilted her head in a different direction. "Olivia Margaret Benson don't make me carry your ass upstairs," Amanda drawled. She heard a soft snore from the brunette. "Fuck," she says to herself as she pulls her phone out. She dials a number and waits for it to pick up. "Hey, sorry for calling you so late but I've got a bit of a situation. Can you come over to my apartment? Okay thanks." Amanda hung up the phone and climbed back into the driver's seat. About fifteen minutes later, Fin shows up.
"What's up Manda?" He raises an eyebrow at her. She opens the passenger door to Olivia's car. Revealing a passed out drunk, snoring Olivia. "What happened to her?" Fin asked. "Three glasses of wine and ten shots of tequila. Barmaid called me to come pick up a little troublemaker here. Apparently she went to Lindstrom's office and went to blow off steam. She refuses to stay awake and there's no way I can carry her upstairs." "I got this," Fin says as he reaches in the car with one arm behind her shoulders and one arm under her knees, he gently slides Olivia out of the car, gently adjusting his arms to ensure Olivia doesn't fall out of his arms. "Right behind you." He says as he heads up the steps to the complex. They both head upstairs as he tries not to wake up the sleeping Lieutenant. "Alrighty," Amanda says as she gets her apartment door open. "You can lay her on the couch," Amanda says as she gets pillows and blankets out. Fin gently kneels down and sets Olivia on the couch. "Whatever you do, do not tell the others and let's never mention this night ever again."
"Got that covered. Are you all good to go?" Fin asks as Amanda covers Olivia with a blanket. "Yes. I'm gonna make her some food so she starts to sober up. Thanks for carrying her up for me." "It's no problem at all. See ya later," Fin gives Amanda a hug before he leaves. Amanda glances at a sleeping Olivia, taking Liv's shoes off. Liv curled up into a ball. Amanda whipped up some food and put it in a leftover container and set it on the table with the lid enclosing the food. She walks into her bedroom and changes clothes. Olivia starts stirring and is waking up. She seemed confused at first. Then she hears Amanda mumble as she must've dropped something. Then Amanda came walking out into the living room. "Hey," she says softly, noticing Olivia was awake. "How are you feeling?"
"Iiii'm fiinnneeee," Liv is still slurring a bit despite being asleep for 30 minutes. "You hungry? I whipped up a small pasta meal." Amanda knelt down besides Olivia and Olivia shook her head. "I had sp-a-a-ghettiiii at the baa-a-ar," Olivia struggled to say without laughing. "What's so funny?" Amanda raised an eyebrow. "I'm craving something." Liv slightly sits up. "What?" Amanda asks. "Nooooothinn','' Liv giggles. Amanda had to hold herself together when Liv giggled. "Come on Liv. What is it?"
"Iiiiii want…. peaches!" Liv says squealing. "Let me see if I have some in the cabinet." Amanda goes to stand up, Olivia grabs Amanda's wrists. "Not that kind," Liv bites her lip. Amanda felt a blush rushing to her cheeks from her neck. "Th-that's not a good idea Liv. You're not sober, let's get you some food." Amanda steps to the kitchen table and grabs a silverware from the drawer and opens the container and hands it to Olivia. "But I'm not hungry….," she pouts. "It'll help your stomach and you'll sober up. Since you already ate recently. Also, if you don't, I'll feed you like a baby." Olivia looked up at Amanda. "Don't think I won't Liv. 'Cause I will." Olivia cheesed a big ole grin, "I'm fine with that!"
Amanda rolled her eyes as she pulled a chair close to the couch. "Alright ya big drunken goofball," Amanda says as she starts feeding Liv spoonfuls of the pasta dinner. "In all honesty, I like it when you're drunk. You're more fun and adorable." Olivia blushed as she ate another bite of the pasta. She couldn't help but hold a gaze to Amanda's eyes. Liv sat up all the way on the couch, facing Amanda, leaning in and kissing her. But Liv moved so fast that Amanda didn't have time to stop her. As much as Amanda liked it, she had to stop the kiss. "Liv, don't. Don't do something you'll end up regretting," Amanda says softly. "But.. I want this to happen, I do."
"You're drunk. You're not fully capable of understanding what you're doing." Amanda set the empty bowl in the sink and then sat back down in the chair. "It was nice, I enjoyed it but Liv, you know as well as I do that when a person is drunk, they are incapable-," Amanda was interrupted by Olivia's lips meeting hers. But she daren't let Amanda break the kiss this time. Her tongue brushed against Amanda's lower lip and Amanda allowed entrance into her mouth as they went through a full makeout session. Olivia pulled Amanda from her chair onto her lap on the couch. Amanda moaned softly as she broke the kiss once again, Olivia coming back with a peck before Amanda's hands held her shoulder towards the back of the couch. "I think it's bedtime. Let me go find you something to wear." Amanda says as she gets off of Olivia's lap and walks into her bedroom, shutting the door. She couldn't help but sink to the floor, smiling at what just happened. She sat there for a good ten minutes before gathering some pajamas together for Olivia. She opened her bedroom door and was startled that Olivia was right on the other side of the door. "Jesus, Liv, don't do that." Amanda says as she gives some pajamas to Olivia. "You were taking a long time, I was worried." Olivia says. "Okay well now you got a change of clothes. You can change in my bedroom if you'd like." Amanda clears the doorway for Olivia to step into the bedroom. "Nice room," Olivia looked around. "Thanks," Amanda says as she shuts the door. A few minutes later, Olivia opens the bedroom door and walks down the hall and hears the water running in the kitchen and dishes clinking as Amanda cleans them. "All ready for bed!" Olivia says. "Okay, you can take my bed and I'll take the couch." Amanda says as she puts the last of the dishes away and dries her hands. Olivia pouted, "I don't like sleeping alone." Amanda rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Okay Liv. You're still out of it. But keep your hands in the safe zone. Don't try anything." Amanda lectures Olivia as they head to bed. Amanda climbs into the bed first, then Olivia lays right besides her, wrapping her arms around Amanda's torso. Little did Amanda know, Olivia is already sobered up for the most part.
