Here's the second POV. This was written by my friend, Landfish, and this is their first time writing a fanfiction, so I hope you enjoy!

Galaxia sprinted out the door, still chewing his fried bananas. "Bye, sweetie!" his mum, Moonflower, shouted at him.

"Mmff, BYE MUM, mrrf mm" he shouted back. He took off, narrowly missing many of the trees. When he finally got to the coast, he flew low so his claws were brushing the water. Since the Hybrid Island Academy was quite far away, the sun was only just rising. He sniffed the cold salty air and thought to himself, I wish I could be here forever.

He was so happy, he didn't notice the rocky outcrop he was heading towards at top speed.

"Woah there!" a tall, lime-green, lavender and rose dragon shouted to him as she bumped him out of the way of the outcrop. "I know it's beautiful this time of day but you need to be more careful" she said "oh right, I should probably introduce myself. I'm Roxanne, and I presume you are one of the new students in the Hybrid Island Academy?"

"Yes I am."

"Well i'll be your english teacher, and I should be off now, goodbye!" Roxanne roared back as she flew off. Galaxia followed Roxanne and in half an hour, he was at the Academy.

He ran up the huge stone steps until he got to the huge stone doorways. There, he was greeted by a dragon slightly shorter than Roxanne, but still much older than Galaxia. He flew about 100 metres into the hall then did a huge dive downwards, bracing his shoulders as he snapped his wings back open.

Galaxia glided down onto a huge stone platform, and he dived towards it. When he landed, he was in a massive stone hallway with thousands of brightly glowing torches. Sitting at the very back was a desk.

A beautiful DarkWing was seated behind it, a clipboard in her talons. Her ruff flared as a beautiful shade of pink spun across it.

"I presume you're here for the Academy?" she asked.

"Yes," Galaxia replied "My name is Galaxia."

"You'll be down the left-wing side of the second corridor. Third door." she said, her ruff shifting back to a dazzling green.

"Thanks!" Galaxia called back as he padded through the corridor. Quite a few other hybrids were crowding the halls, all of them clearly very excited about the year that was about to start. Galaxia made it to his doorway, and thought to himself, I think I'm going to like it here.

Special thanks to Lightfeather123456 for letting me steal her user to write this and also for introducing me to the Wings of Fire series.
