A/N: The last official chapter of this story. *Tries not to burst into tears*

Seeing the characters grow and develop over the years, not just Lilith but Duncan as well, it makes me feel like I'm watching a movie. Even though I'm writing this...weird. Anyway, thanks for reading, favouriting or following this story. Be sure to say what you thought of it in reviews!

Till next time,

Year 18: Part 2 - She's all grown up now

Hey Pasty,

How long's it been this time? Two years?

I know, way too long. But at least it's better than last time. That gap was around five, so I'm slowly getting better. Though, I may not write again.

Shocking. I know, but I don't exactly feel the need to write to you anymore. It's not like you don't know what goes on anyway. I'm pretty certain you're always making sure everything's going fine. Probably interfering to make sure nothing bad happens. You think I don't notice it?

I'm pretty sure Lilith notices it too. She always seems to smile when she spots a raven. I don't know whether to say it's weird or adorable.

Speaking of her, Lilith's eighteen now. That's right our little bud's blossomed into a flower (I swear I've gone soft over the years...) She's heading off to college soon and surprisingly I'm not reluctant to let her go. In fact, I'm fine with it. I know she can handle herself in the big, tough, scary world: she's shown me that. I know that she'll be fine by herself. She has your feistiness after all.

I'm always gonna miss having you around though, especially after Lilith leaves. Remember the night before she was born? We spent hours talking about what she'd be like. You said you hope she had my eyes because you loved to stare into them. Seems your wish came true. But so did mine. She's got your big bright smile; the best gift you ever gave me.

I can't wait to see you again, if I ever can, and when I do you're gonna get the biggest hug. Maybe more...

I'm laughing now: you always used to turn bright red at the slightest comment.

Well, I guess this is goodbye.

Until we meet again,

Duncan
