When Moonwave finally came back to the school, most of the dragonets had already eaten their dinner and were playing or working in their rooms. Alaska had come in earlier, and was sitting at the dining table, talking quietly to Roxanne.

They both turned when Moonwave came in, and smiled. "The leftovers are in the storage room." Roxanne said, pointing her prehensile tail to the right.

Moonwave went in the little room, and found a few plates that were still warm. She gathered up a few fish, and went back into the dining hall. While she ate, she talked to Alaska and Roxanne about their origins.

"I got my smaller wings from my father, a LeafWing, and my larger ones from my mother, who is a BreezeWing. That's why I can spin silk." Roxanne began, shooting a little of the silvery substance to prove her point.

"You already know what I am." Alaska said, tapping his temples.

Moonwave nodded. Alaska had told her he was a DreamWing, an IceWing, SeaWing and NightWing hybrid, and that his powers were weakened from being a tribrid.

After a few minutes, Moonwave left, saying good night to the two teachers. She went down the hallway to the room. Inside she could hear only one mind, thinking loudly. It was Ash.

I wonder where Rosie's gone, the DawnWing thought. Probably to the beach. She loves it there.

Moonwave opened the door, and saw that Ash was a very thoughtful shade of light blue. He turned his head as she entered, and smiled.

"You know that WhipWing I said was coming today?" he asked, and Moonwave nodded "Well, he's here now. His name is Galaxia and he's already established himself to be very lazy."

Moonwave giggled inwardly. She'd known this, but she'd kept that to herself, knowing how it would've affected Rosepetal.

She slipped into her mosaic pool, admiring the wings. She pulled out one of her waterproof scrolls, and read.

Later on in the evening, she could hear the sounds of talonsteps outside the door, and then the turning of the handle. She looked up and saw Rosepetal step inside, followed by a young WhipWing.

He had blue, purple and black scales, some of which shifted every now and again. He saw Moonwave, thought, huh, then walked over to his hammock and plonked himself in it, pulling out a scroll. Moonwave almost laughed out loud.

"Galaxia, get your lazy butt over here!" Ash roared, smiling widely.

"Ugh. OK." Galaxia replied, slowly getting up.

"Hey there! You're that WhipWing I saw in that vision! I'm Moonwave, by the way." Moonwave said, introducing herself.

"Visions? You what?" Galaxia asked, a puzzled expression crossing his light blue face.

Wow she sounds amazing! The WhipWing dragonet thought.

"I'm half NightWing," Moonwave replied, "I was born on the Brightest Night, so I have both prophetic powers and mindreading. And yes, I know I am."

"Prophetic powers. Cool. Oh, I'm Galaxia, by the way." Galaxia responded, obviously completely awestruck. What other powers could she possibly have? he thought.

"Well, I'm an animus. I promise I'm not dangerous." Moonwave replied, seeing Galaxia shudder.

"I'm going to get back to my scroll now." Galaxia announced awkwardly.

"OK then." Ash replied.

Galaxia padded slowly back to his hammock and rested a scroll on his pillow, reading it at what seemed to be the speed of a slow moving snail.

She could hear from his thoughts that it was about scavengers, but she wasn't interested. Instead, she went back to reading her own scroll.

After a while, she put it down, and closed her eyes, letting sleep engulf her.

Yes, I know, this chapter was supposed to be the hybrid chart, but sorry, I couldn't be bothered. It'll be in around the ninth, tenth or eleventh chapter, depending on how I feel about it.

Anyways, this was written by Lightfeather.

So that's about it.
