Because of Scott, Derek dreams about his past. Scott said to him that if he missed, his parents could use the bite of La Bête to revive them. In the car, Derek recalled how his life was before the fire. He fell in love with Paige; Kate did not burn his house and destroy his family. Derek dreamt of what happened on the day they met Paige. Talia woke young Derek to attend high school.
"Come on, you need to wake up because I must attend school," said Talia ticketing Derek.
"How is the clock?" asked Derek and desired. "Let me sleep five more minutes."
"Five more minutes?" asked Talia and explained. "This is the second time I've come to you."
"Fine," said Derek, and asked. "What must I do to stay at home without studying at school?"
"Do you hate the school?" guessed Talia and advised. "Take lard and grease the school because dogs will devour it."
"Why do dogs have no strong teeth to do this?" guessed Derek and got up off the bed.
"They need you to attend high school," said Talia and advised. "Go wash your face, dress up, make the schoolbag, come down to eat Breakfast, and then come here, clean the room."
"Mum is my room, and because it is my room, I must be the one who likes and not you," said Derek, and wondered. "Why keep declaring these things every day?"
"Cora is six years old years and does all these things without informing her."
"Clean the room after school and come down in two minutes."
"Oh, my boy, I do not know when you grow up," said Talia and related. "I remembered yesterday you in the chest, and now are a grown man."
"I love you."
Derek made his schoolbag and his bed and washed his face. After that, he went to have breakfast with his family. Cora came up to Derek to hug him. Laura smiled when she saw Cora and Derek. Laura assisted her mother, Talia, to prepare everybody for school and work.
"How do you sleep?" asked Tyler drinking coffee.
"I want to sleep more," desired Derek and explained. "My mother doesn't allow me."
"Everybody starts his job," said Laura, and explained. "Your job is school."
"Laura, can you take Cora to kindergarten?" Talia asked. "Sometimes I hate it because it can shift my form into a full wolf."
"What is wrong with that?" asked Derek, and he explained. "Anybody can't do it."
"Our mum is a wolf," said Cora seeing her transformed a day ago.
"The ability to transform me into a full wolf selects them as their leader. When a problem appears, they come at me because the emissary isn't capable of resolving it," said Talia.
"Still, I don't get why you prefer me to be your husband from the entire Beacon Hills," said Tyler very intrigued.
"I don't comprehend why you keep questioning it," murmured Laura slapping her face.
"He requires attention and doesn't know how to get it," explained Talia.
"I want to see my friends," desired Cora and went to his father.
"Derek, are you alone?" wondered Tyler and felt his emotions.
"Why do you want to recognize it?" asked Derek and said. "Isn't your business,"
"Why does your heartbeat rise?" questioned Talia and laughed a bit.
"Hate because I am a werewolf and can't keep a secret," said Derek and informed. "I look after three girls, but don't know if they want to be with me."
"One isn't enough for you?" guessed Cora.
"So you waited to meet your first love?" concluded Laura.
"Stop interrogating him because his face become red as cancer," amused Talia and groomed on his arm.
"My boy has grown up," said Tyler and gave him a gift.
Derek's entire family went to lunch when he got home from high school. Derek always ate everything fast that was in the dish. This time he played with the spoon, being very thoughtful and bored at the same time. Tyler remembered how he felt when he met Talia and interrogated him.
Is something wrong with you? Why do you look out the window and play with the spoon in the food?" asked Tyler and recalling how fast ate.
"I am not hungry," replied Derek and dropped the spoon.
"You found your chosen one, and that's why you have butterflies in your stomach," guessed Laura.
"Why have insects in the stomach? Why do you eat my butterflies? " wondered Cora shocked by this.
"My sweet, Derek, don't eat your butterflies," said Talia and explained. "You will understand when growing up and love someone."
"Who is it?" asked Laura and thought of as few names.
"I don't know what to say," responded Derek, amused. "I was such a yoke with her."
"What did you do?" wondered Talia intrigued by this.
"I was with my basketball team and played with the ball in front of the music cabinet," related Derek, and said. "A girl came out and told us to play in another place because we needed to practice."
"What did you do?" asked Cora and thought of his brother's mannerisms.
"Nothing, challenged her to snatch the ball, and we left," said Derek and resumed. "Defeated her in the game while my friends laughed, and after that, I went alone to ask her."
"My god," said Tyler, and wondered. "You know her name?"
"To mention me her name, she tells me to sign at a musical instrument," related Derek the events.
"How do you find her name if don't know how to sing an instrument?" asked Talia because knew Derek.
"Don't know, but found a triangle and her name is Paige," informed Derek, and said. "I wanted to add my name and she recognized it."
"So that's why you don't eat," concluded Laura and said. "When mother put the food in the dish in less than a minute devour it, but now."
"Find your soulmate," concluded Tyler after hearing the story.
"You want me to inform you of something important?" guessed Talia because knew Derek was a dork.
"I deserve it and don't have a chance with her." wondered Derek
"No," replied Talia, and asked. "Why can you say that?"
"A clever girl doesn't fall in love fast and needs time to listen to her feelings," advised Tyler added. "Also, she needs to approach, but sometimes give some attention to her. This is to recognize you care about her and eat and clean your room."
Derek listened to the advice of his father, woke up alone in the morning, and cleaned his room. Everything was fine for two months until Peter made a deal with Ennis because he had lost two betas. Peter joined his pack, and Ennis received Paige. Ennis bit Paige but rejected the bite. He murdered her to end her suffering. Derek's mother came to take Derek home. Before going to sleep, Talia spoke with him about what had happened.
"Why Paige?" wondered Derek very sad and crying.
"Please don't cry," said Derek, and advised. "Mommy is near you."
"Why did that alpha want Paige?"
"I don't know, but look at me, I know how hard because lost your love. Paige from where do want to view you happy," comforted Talia and said. "Paige wanted to end her suffering,"
"Why did she die, missed her so much?"

"Paige will remain in your heart and keep her image alive," advised Talia, and said. "Remember, she wants to see happiness and go to sleep because needs to rest."
Talia called Derek's tutor to tell her the problem because knew about werewolves. So suggested Derek allow staying at home on Thursday and Friday to motivate his absences. While he dreamt, a tear was on the pillow. Derek remembered all the joyous moments with Paige. Talia let Derek sleep as much as he needed. She did not understand why Ennis had turned Paige into a werewolf.
"I take Cora to kinder garden and Derek still sleeps," said Tyler
"When he wakes up, I will give him breakfast in bed," said Talia, concerned. "I don't know what to do to make him smile."
"It will take some time to recover because Paige was his first love," advised Laura
"I don't get why Ennis bites Paige," said Talia and brushed her hair.
"Derek is my son and the unique boy in the family, and I want the best for him," said Tyler, and explained. "Since that day when I gave him that advice, I followed it."

"Did you know that two betas from Ennis's pack died?" wondered Tyler and shared. "If Paige becomes a werewolf was more powerful than both combined power."
"So someone told Ennis about her," concluded Talia and thought at the possibility.
"We talk after I return," said Tyler and grabbed a shopping bag.
"I have an idea how to make Derek smile," said Laura and went to the living room.
"He likes to look at the family album," said Talia, and informed. "We need to remake it."
Derek woke up after four hours. Talia came, delivering him breakfast in bed. While Talia served Derek breakfast, Tyler and Laura made the album. When Cora came home, they would go to look at it.
"What is that?" wondered Derek and saw a bag.
"Unlock and see it," advised Laura pushing him from the back.
"The old photo album," said Derek.
"You want to look at it?" wondered Tyler and opened it.
"I take this as a yes," observed Talia after reading the message from the cover.
"What is that?" asked Cora and saw Derek peeing with his dad on trees.
"You will understand when growing up and becoming a boy," explained Tyler and smiled.
"This was the first time when you thought me to mark my territory," recalled Derek who peed together on the tree.
"My teddy bears," said Cora, and she wondered. "Why do you devour them?"
"It was the fault of the full moon," responded Derek to find an excuse.
"Pinocchio, why does your nose grow up?" wondered Tyler and touched his nose.
"I bought another teddy bear like the old one," said Talia, and asked. "Why don't you like it?"
"Cora learned to sew, and that's why," replied Laura.
"I hate the one who accomplished this for me," said Derek when received a scare box.
"Come on, it was funny," amused Laura and laughed.
"Was it funny to give someone two years old a box with a certain named puppet who jumps when you open it?" wondered Derek
"Was your father's idea, it was a traumatized one," said Talia, and guessed. "What I told you is a terrible idea?"
"Who is that sheep?" wondered Cora and saw the photo.
"Present from Laura, if I remember," replied Derek, and wondered. "Why did you gain such a thing?"
"Don't recognize, so want to wear it," said Laura, and murmured. "The costume is small because you've grown up."
"Next time, learn to fulfill your promise," asked Talia and noticing how Derek jumped on Tyler.
"Why did I sit on your back and inform you to wake up because you promised?" wondered Derek trying to remember the reason.
"I don't know," replied Tyler, and guessed. "This photo is the answer."
"You forget your initial day when learned to swim?" wondered Laura figuring everything out.
"How can I overlook that?" asked Derek, amused. "I don't recall the part with you waking up."
"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree," said Talia and asked, "You remember how you slept near Derek?"
"That was my first night when staying with him alone," answered Tyler
"I was the one who develops the photo when you sleep," amused Laura, and recalled the moment.
"So little I was," said Derek and murmured. "I miss childhood."
"Why do you like Derek more than me?" wondered Cora upset by this.
"I love all, in the same way, my dear," responded Tyler hugging all.
"Who wants to devour pizza?" asked Talia and picked the phone up.
"Why do you still ask?" wondered Derek and shook his head.
"I don't know. Do you eat much? " guessed Laura referring to Derek.
"In this place is my investment, so isn't your business," amused Derek showing his belly.
"It matters that you feel better about your investment," Tyler advised, wondering. "After that, do we all go to the lake?"
"You want to eat here or on the lake?" asked Talia to know where the delivery should take place.
"I am starving and that pizza calls me," said Derek and thought about how would eat it.
With the help of his parents, Derek passed after the death of Paige. He dreamt about how the fire began. He woke up and went to drink a glass of water. After that, Derek went to sleep again. This time, he would have had a dream of what his life would be like if Kate had not killed almost all his family in the fire. In the dream, Derek woke up in the plan and noticed his mother was a full werewolf. Talia came near him and turned into a human.
"How are you in my mind?" Is this a dream? " asked Derek because didn't know how to react.
"Is a dream, but I don't enter your mind with the help of the claws," responded Talia calming Derek.
"How are you in this place?"
"Recalling what I told you that night when Paige died?"
"She will always live in my heart," responded Derek, and concluded. "So you are my living memory of my mother."
"I am your mother," said Derek, and explained. "I am delighted because I am evolving."
"How is that possible?"
"You should thank Scott because it makes them think every second of me."
"You will live, I promise."
"Take care of yourself."
Derek woke up a bit scared. Braeden went to drink coffee and let Cora and Malia sleep. Braeden told Derek about what Scott's pack did in his loft. He was speechless to hear the Maid of Gevaudan was Allison's ancestor and looked like her.
"You think La Bête will go to my aid?" asked Derek full of hope.
"I don't get what to say, but has a tragic life and knows what means to lose your parents," replied Braeden and added. "Also, we all believe the guy Tess and the others met in New York is an impostor. It said is the Beast of Gevaudan, but it seems is Devout that Marie recalls."
"How is my face?" wondered Derek and looked straight at Braeden.
"You don't sleep like a baby?" asked Braeden mocking Derek a bit too hard.
"I remember about childhood and how my life was before the fire," replied Derek.
"It wasn't your fault," said Braeden, and asked. "What did you dream?"
"About my first love, Paige, and how she died because she rejected the bite," responded Derek and shared. "She wanted to murder her to end her suffer."
"I am concerned for you," comforted Braeden and said. "We go to La Iglesias."
"Why does desert Wolf go there?" wondered Derek trying to figure out her plan.
"We are going to discover it," answered Braeden.
Braeden guessed the Desert Wolf chased somebody after the footprints it found. She caught the guardian who let her escape from the prison. This was because he tried to kill Malia, losing her powers in the process using Balasko's talons.
