A/N: Welcome one and all. My name is Shaylex_cosplay and I am just your average girl who cosplays and writes fanfics of the OC's my brain creates. Here, with a brand new story from the world that is Danganronpa. I am currently in an oc killing game with a bunch of my friends and I decided, why not write about it! So here we are. I hope you enjoy the adventures of Sara Mazaki, the Ultimate Babysitter, and the 76th class of Hope's Peak Academy.
'Finally, the day I've dreamed of since getting my invitation! I'm finally off to Hope's Peak Academy! Oh, who am I? My name is Sara Mazaki! My ultimate talent? I'm the Super Level High School Babysitter. I guess my Ultimate Talent came naturally to me. With me being the eldest sibling in my family, and my parents, who were focussed on their careers. I guess I stepped up. Who knew that my way with kids would get me accepted into the top high school for kids with exceptional talents. I'm going to be in the 76th class at Hope's Peak. I wonder who my classmates will be?'
A young girl, with very light blonde hair with pinkish hues in them that hung at her shoulders in curly ringlets, stood at the entrance to Hope's Peak Academy. A school well renowned throughout the world and not just Japan. Her green eyes fixed on the school emblem at the top of the building. She was wearing a cream sweater under a black dungaree dress. A purple bag hung over her shoulder and a necklace with a silver bow hung around her neck. Sara smiled as she took her first step onto the school grounds. The first step into hopefully a new life for herself and her siblings. Boy was she in for the shock of her life.
The minute she stepped through the school gates, her head became fuzzy and she suddenly felt very dizzy. Before she knew it, she had fallen unconscious.
...
Sara groaned as she began to wake up. She felt hardwood flooring beneath her body. She opened her eyes and allowed them to adjust the light. She could see bleachers and what looked like a school gymnasium around her. She slowly sat up as she yawned and rubbed her eyes. "Oh, thank goodness you're awake!" A small voice came from behind her. Sara turned to see a young girl, roughly her age, with dark purple hair, held back into a cap. She had brown eyes and a shy disposition about her. She was wearing a fluffy, light pink sweater with a blue dungaree dress over it. Sara smiled and rubbed her head.
"Yeah... it was the strangest feeling." She said as the other girl held out her hand for Sara. Sara took it and managed to stand up, slowly. She looked around to see 14 other people laying on the floor, unconscious. "I guess we're the first to wake up huh... wait... where are we?" Sara said as she finally looked around herself. They were definitely in a school gym. But Sara remembered walking through the school gates into Hope's Peak Academy.
"I think we're in a school gymnasium... but... which school... I'm not sure. I'm Kiki by the way. Kiki Yashiro! Super level high school clothes designer!" She said holding up a peace sign and smiling at her name. So Kiki was an Ultimate student too. Sara smiled.
"Sara Mazaki. Super level high school babysitter!" Sara introduced back. Kiki smiled.
"So you're an ultimate too? Are the rest of them, ones too?" She said as she looked at the other people laying on the floor. They were all different sizes and shapes but they all looked like your average high school kids. Sara thought for a second.
"Wait... what was the last thing you remember?" She said softly to Kiki. The young girl placed a hand under her chin and thought.
"I remember... That's it. I was about to step foot into Hope's Peak Academy but then..."
"But then you became dizzy the minute to stepped through the gate and passed out, waking up here?" Sara completed her sentence. Kiki nodded.
"You guys too?" A new voice came from behind them as they saw another person sitting up, rubbing their head. He had short black hair with a side fringe that covered his right eye. He was wearing a white shirt with a dark blue jacket over it and dark jeans. Sara walked over with Kiki following behind.
"I take it you're an Ultimate too?" Sara said, smiling softly at him. The guy nodded as he stood up and stretched. He was a little bit taller than Sara and Kiki.
"Yoshiki Munetaka. Super level high school drummer!" He introduced himself to them. Sara and Kiki made their introductions. Chances are, this was going to be something they were going to do with everyone who woke up. This didn't take too long. Next to wake up was Kirika Ishida, Super level high school dancer and Daiki Kagami, super level high school basketball player. Followed by Neku Chakurasai, Ultimate DJ, and Keira, the Ultimate photographer. Ayame Yamashita, the Ultimate seamstress, and Kaneda Takahashi, ultimate marine biologist followed with Saki Shiki, super level high school RPG gamer, and Evgenia Petrov, Ultimate figure skater. Jaehynn Choi, the ultimate soft bean followed with Astrid Gatra, super level high school swordswoman following. Kisa Atsukia, ultimate horror writing, and Jaren Hirai, ultimate game designer were next. Lastly, was Shoto Kisou, the ultimate archer. All of them had experienced the same thing, they were going to be a part of Hope's Peak Academy, 76th class but had fallen unconscious as soon as they set foot through the school gates.
"This is bogus. Where are we and what happened to us?" Daiki shouted. He was over 6 feet tall. Probably the tallest guy in the class with pink hair and deep red eyes.
"Who knows. But, we are in a school. It seems we all rolled pretty low in our saving throws." Saki responded as she pulled out a 20-sided die from a bag that she was holding and rolled it around her fingers.
"Excuse me?" Neku asked. Seemingly confused by her explanation. He had green hair and wore headphones and a mask to cover his mouth.
"Look. Staying here isn't going to help. Let's leave the gym and find out why we ended up in here." Ayame said as she walked to the door to leave the gym. Sara looked around at her classmates.
'Why are we here? What purpose does it serve?' She thought to herself as Ayame opened the door.
"It looks like we're in a school. It could be Hope's Peak Academy but I'm not sure..." she said as the rest of the class started to head to the door.
"I say we split up. Check out all the areas around this building and find out why we're here." Yoshiki suggested.
"You never split up the party," Saki mentioned. Everyone just looked at her, confused.
"I can see the stairs. It looks like this place has a lot of floors." Ayame explained as she looked down the hallway.
"There's 16 of us... but how many floors?" Kiki asked. Everyone shrugged.
"Let's go in pairs. And meet back here in an hour." Ayame suggested. Everyone seemed to agree with that. Yoshiki and Jaehyun teamed up as did Kiki and Neku. Ayame went with Kaneda, and Saki teamed up with Keira. Kirika and Evgenia left together while Jaren and Astrid teamed up. It just left Sara, Shoto, Daiki, and Kisa left. Daiki grabbed Shoto who looked visibly uncomfortable and left the gym, leaving Sara and Kisa to pair up. Sara looked at Kisa, she had her short, dark blonde hair in low pigtails and was wearing a yellow shirt and a dungaree dress over it, similar to Sara's. The Ultimate Horror Writer. Sara wasn't a fan of horror movies.
"Where shall we start?" Sara asked as they left the room and walked towards the stairs.
"Let's see how far up this place is. How many floors are there?" Kisa suggested as they reached the stairs. They began to ascend them, reaching the second floor where Jaehyun, Yoshiki, Shoto, and Daiki we're exploring. They continued up to the third floor which looked untouched. They carried on up to the fourth floor which looked like the end as there were no more stairs. Kirika, Evgenia, Saki, and Keira were up there, checking everything out.
"Third floor?" Sara asked. Kiss nodded and the walked down the stairs to the third floor. They stepped into the hallway and looked around. There were 7 rooms in total on the floor. One was a classroom. Just an ordinary classroom with desks, a teacher's desk, a couple of lockers, and a blackboard. Nothing special but it confirmed something to Sara and Kisa. They were definitely in a school. They looked at the other rooms. They had the names of the students as well as their ultimate talents underneath. Keira, Neku, Kaneda, Jaren, Sara, and Kisa were all on this floor. Sara went to her door and opened it. Inside, it looked like a daycare center. There were posters and various books and toys and craft stuff made for kids as well as a few cribs. On the floor by the bookshelf were half a dozen bean bags sprawled out over the floor. To her right, was a double bed with a pastel-colored duvet set. A bathroom was set off to the side with a toilet, shower and sink with toiletries in a cabinet. A bedroom fitting for the Ultimate Babysitter. Sara left her room as closed the door just as Kisa was leaving her room.
"Peculiar," Kisa mumbled as she turned to Sara.
"Your room fitted your ultimate too?" She asked the horror writer. Kisa nodded.
"It's like my dream room. It's almost too perfect." Kisa responded.
"Come on. I think we've seen everything on this floor. Let's head back to the gym and report." Sara suggested. Kisa nodded and the two of them went to the staircase and descended it down to the first floor. There they saw Shoto and Daiki with a few other students walk towards the gym. 'It seems as though they finished their search. I wonder what everyone found?' Sara thought as she and Kisa entered the gym. Almost everyone was there, the only exceptions were Neku, Kiki, Jaren, and Astrid who were probably still searching. Astrid and Jaren returned after a few minutes with Neku and Kiki following behind shortly after.
"So... who wants to go first?" Ayame asked the room. Jae started jumping up and down.
"Me and Taka! Me and Taka!" He said so cutely. Ayame nodded at him. Jae puffed out his chest and started talking. "Taka and I explored the second floor with Dai-cchi and So-cchi. We found a games room with all kinds of games. Retro arcade games, a pool table. Everything! There was also a library and a classroom. Oh and bedrooms! Mine, So-cchi's, Yame-cchi's, and Hiki-cchi's." Jae explained. Daiki, Shoto, and Yoshiki nodded in agreement.
"There were lots of different books in the library, both fiction and non-fiction," Yoshiki added.
"And the bedrooms look like they were decorated with our ultimate talents in mind," Daiki explained. Shoto just nodded, still looking uncomfortable.
"It was the same on the third floor. But there was only a classroom and 6 bedrooms. Mine, Atsukia's, Keira's, Takahashi's, Hirai's, and Chakurasai's." Sara spoke up, smiling softly. Kisa nodded.
"With the added classrooms, I think it's safe to assume that we're in some sort of school. But is it Hope's Peak Academy?" Kisa asked, looking around the room. Everyone shrugged.
"At least there's an outdoor courtyard," Kiki said softly to the group as she stuck close to Neku, who nodded in agreement.
"But there's a giant wall going all the way around it and we can't scale it to get out. It's way too tall, not even for basketball boy here." Neku said gesturing to Daiki who looked visibly pissed at his comment.
"What did you say, Punk?" He asked as he walked right up to Neku and looked down at him. Neku didn't seem phased by it.
"Guys. We're trapped in this school with no way out by the look of things. We need to work together. Not be at each other's throats within the first hour of meeting each other!" Ayame said, sending a cold glare to the both of them. Daiki stepped down and away from Neku. "What else did we find?" She asked at the others.
"The fourth floor was the same as the third floor. One classroom and 5 bedrooms. Yashiro's, Munetaka's, Gatra's, Ishida's, and Petrov's rooms." Saki explained. So the third and fourth floors weren't as exciting.
"That just leaves the first floor. Well, we have the gym, there's a dining hall with a kitchen that's stocked with all kinds of food, there's a swimming pool, another classroom and Kagami's bedroom. Oh, and a large red door that's locked." Ayame explained.
"But no indication on why we're here or if there's a way out?" Hirai asked, yawning slightly.
"We'll probably find out soon. I think there's a reason why we've all been put in here." Sara explained. "We're all classmates yet we don't know how we came to end up in here. Yashiro. What did the outside of the building look like? Was there any indication that this was Hope's Peak Academy?" She asked, turning to Kiki. She shook her head.
"No, the building looked different from what I remember Hope's Peak looking like." She explained softly. Everyone looked around the room. Trying to decipher what was going on.
"We May just have to wait it out. If we're trapped here, someone might know we're missing and come look for us. Especially if this isn't Hope's Peak Academy." Yoshiki said as he took out some drumsticks and started twirling them in his hands.
"It may be the best course of action open to us. I see no other path open to us." Saki added as she crossed her arms and looked at everyone.
"Well then, it's settled. We'll wait it out until we figure out what's going on here and who is keeping us trapped here." Sara said, smiling sweetly. Everyone agreed and dispersed from the gym. And that was the start of their nightmare.
A/N: And here we go. The start of Sara's journey. I wonder what will happen next time? I'm excited to bring this little RP killing game that my friends and I have created and I want to thank all of them for being such amazing sports during this! I hope you all have a super awesome day, morning, afternoon, evening, night wherever you may be in this world and I'll catch you in the next chapter!
