"Dad tell me the story of Lord Brahma." A kid asked a man as the man tucked him in the bed.
"Again.. Did you not hear it yesterday" The man Sighed.
"Please Dad and No I did not…yesterday you read pied piper to me" the kid pleaded and the father could not resist the Puppy dog eyes.
"No, Not the eyes…. Alright!". The father continued "But this is the first and last time I am telling you this story. And After this you will go to sleep."
"OK!" The kid said as he smiled.
"Approximately 13.8 Billion ago, there was darkness everywhere. If one would have been born before the Big bang. One would see only darkness. But it was the Big bang that created "Shunya", starting point of every known and Unknown Universe. One of the reasons we Believe that 0 is the starting point of Everything.
The Big Bang created 3 entities to make the known universe a Better Place the 3 Primordial Entities, The Entity of Destruction Rudra, The Entity of Creation Brahma, The Entity of Sustenance Vishnu.
Since the Big bang created many universes simultaneously. These 3 Primordial entities created their own counterparts to assign to each of the universe that were created in the Big Bang Explosion. Every Universe had its own Trinity of Brahma (for Creation), Vishnu (for Sustenance) and Rudra (for Destruction) who then created the other gods like Varun(water), Agni(Fire), Vayu(Air), Prakruti (Nature) etc. and Indra(Lord of All lesser Gods) like a supervisor so as to ensure smooth functioning of all the worlds in this known universe."
"Is our Earth Really Earth-0, the land of Primordial Entities?" the kid asked.
"Can't say kid. There might be many planets like earth in the known universe and there are Multiple Universes like ours. As our earth has Age of Heroes now may be in some Parallel earth Bronze age might just have started." His father replied and smiled.
"Then what happened?"
"Everything was going smoothly, Lord Brahma was creating Worlds, Lord Vishnu was creating Plans for Sustenance and Lord Rudra was destroying the Worlds where new creation was supposed to start, you know… regular Monday. This continued for Eons. The humans were created, they started civilizations, recognized the Gods and began praying them for a better life when there was really no need as the Trinity always provided the ability of free will to humans so that they can make their own decision without being dependent on the Gods.
But as the days Passed Lord Brahma became lonely and longed for companionship. So he decided to create one and thus he created Shatrupa(the one with 100 forms). And became obsessed with her, in which ever direction she went, he sprouted a head so that he could watch her, that may be the earliest example of stalking. Then she ascended the heavens so Lord Brahma sprouted a head there also, this was the first nail in the coffin. The Eldest of the Trinity Rudra confronted Brahma and Chopped off the 5th head as he felt that Since Brahma created Shatrupa it was more of a Father-daughter type bond, so by being obsessive Lord Brahma was humiliating it.
Another story goes that Rudra turned himself a Pillar of light for an eternity and asked Both Vishnu and Brahma to Find the bottom and top point respectively so as to decide the better one between them. After searching for a Millennia Lord Vishnu was tiered, he came back and said truthfully that he could not Find the bottom half but Lord Brahma tried to cheat his way out. He grabbed a flower falling from the Light tower and said he had been to the top. Rudra knew this. This was the final Nail in the coffin. And so Lord Rudra cursed that no where on earth Ground or sky will Lord Brahma be worshipped to."
"Is that why he created those Brahmastras or as we call it the Astral Weapons."
"Partly. He thought this would make things right by granting people what they wanted if they chanted his name. The one who prayed him always got a single wish fulfilled. Most of the mortal people who were warriors asked for Brahmastra, a weapon that was Unstoppable. Kind of Like Nuclear Bombs but at the palms of your hands. But this made things worse when world was plunged in Chaos due to wars created by mankind. Another Mistake."
"Wow and I thought I was naughty." The kid said.
"Lord Brahma then ventured earth, went to a small city with all the Gods (except Rudra and Vishnu) and Performed a Yajna (Spiritual cleansing) to purify the world. That city is only place in world where the locals worshipped Lord Brahma as he was the first deity to come on their Land."
"But How? Lord Rudra Cursed him?" The kid asked as he kept his eyes closed in hopes of sleep to come.
"Remember Free will for humans?"
"Lord Brahma then finally decided to correct his Mistakes. He anointed a family from that City and left them a gear which consisted of pair of Gauntlets and an armor which were able to harness the absolute power of the creator. The sole purpose of the Gauntlets was to destroy the Brahmastras used for evil purposes. And after that it is believed that in his final act of repentance Lord Brahma always chanted the 4 Vedas from his 4 heads, continuously."
"Are there Other astral weapons besides These Gauntlets and the Brahmastra ?"
"Yes. It is said all the weapons used by the Holy Trinity and all lesser Gods like Vishnu's Sudarshana (High Frequency Rotating Blade). Rudra's Trishul (Trident) and Indra's Vajra(Bone Blade) etc. were tossed to earth when Lord Vishwakarma (Creator to Tools and Techniques) created them a new version. Think of it like Switching a new weapons of the same kind with Better stats in an RPG Game." That father said as he rose up from the chair beside his son's bed.
"Someday dad! I will find one of those weapons" The son said as he snuggled more with his stuffed toy under his blanket.
As the father looked down the son was beginning to sleep. The father kissed his son's forehead as he smiled and he said "I will be waiting for that day, son."
The next thing the Boy noticed was somebody shaking him as he came out of the dream that he was in and looked into the surrounding area.
Now the class seemed sparsely occupied and Snipe and Midnight Sensei were standing before them. As he opened his eyes further her noticed some new faces among the familiar kids of his class. One had Red pointy hair and other one looked like a Frog. As he looked behind he saw a Plain looking boy in a Green Spandex and heavy shoes "Hi! I am Deku! Seems like we are partners for this class. Sorry for waking you up. But you were missing class."
